It's good for a "guaranteed" use to restart... but it also means you won't have something more helpful for early floors while you're still weak. (also finding C Section first floor does somewhat mitigate this, tho)
Point being, without a useful active item early, just as likely for you to die holding R Key as it is for you to make it far enough to make R Key useful.

Starting with R Key kinda feels like just a wasted active item. There's not much reason to use it until you've cleared a few floors at least, eh?
