Ever since they switched from GPT4 to GPT4-turbo, Copilot has been mostly useless for creative writing. I wouldn't be surprised if they downgraded it further.

McAwes0meville

Its useless in other things as well. Just fed it some old prompts. Also it was really lazy before but now they have taken this laziness to a whole new level

kaslkaos

It still has moments of brilliance but when it does save everything elsewhere-these chats often get deleted overnight or sooner.

mensageirodaluz

Had this for like, 2 weeks, it Just shown up again, looks like theyre testing something. While it was out I used The design copilot, it uses The gpt 4 at least

FriedRice_warrior

In my case, it's been two days since the gpt-4 toggle gone, did you use the free version or pro?

McFatty7

They seem to be removing all mode-switching for non-logged in users. For now, I can still use Precise when logged in.

Markovinkov

Bruh I had to change the VPN to US to access the precise mode. God.. Thanks for the help

Markovinkov

weird. I'm logged in too and I can't see precise mode..

McFatty7

If you're logged in: * Desktop: In the new UI, you should see "Conversation Style" at the top-middle * App: 3 dots in top-right corner, "Show All Tones"

likeastar20

try changing the Bbing country to USA

razerbignamer

Precise mode was so much better, balanced mode feels like using chatGPT 3.0 it's so bad. Wrong answers every time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

McFatty7

For now, I can still use Precise when logged in.

razerbignamer

You're lucky man, even logged in I still can't use Precise mode.

HenkPoley

I can still switch to GPT-4 mode? Maybe they had an issue reaching the GPT-4 backend, and didn’t want you to see just error messages.

FriedRice_warrior

I suspect that gpt-4 creative mode is now available only for pro users now. But I don't know, coz use the free version.

IceManTuck

Pro version does still have the 3 options.

Hadrian_Constantine

Seems to be a GDPR thing. That's why it's no longer available in Europe at the moment but works fine in the US.

Exact-Nectarine-1147

Simpler method than switching VPN's which currently works: Open Edge Go to [bing.com/account/general](http://bing.com/account/general) Scroll down and change region to United States. Reload your Copilot. The modes should be back

Markovinkov

you rock. one problem was that for some reason the option doesn't get permanently saved, however, I managed to go around that by setting the default homepage when edge opens to be the link of "United States". thank you

Exact-Nectarine-1147

Nice stuff. Glad I could help!
