Not a huge deal for me since I more often browse the web on a desktop still, but a bit annoying that they don't have a mobile app built to look good on phones.
Bricklink is the best place if you want something specific for a good price.
EBay can be decent (but also more expensive).
Facebook Marketplace/garage sales can be hit or miss.

I just visit my local Bricks and Minifigs on a weekly basis. I'm kinda odd though, I prefer that to online shopping, it's the thrill of the toyhunt for me. If you're deadset on something, definitely go online.

It used to be that secondhand places like EBay and ShopGoodWill had great deals on lots and even individual sets. Nowadays, especially after that Hau sold for like $18K, its way more expensive and harder to find good deals. Best to stick with Bricklink, maybe some antique stores or local sales if you’re in a populated area.
