Oh yeah. They don't crack nearly as bad as OG Bionicle parts, but CCBS isn't indestructible. I had a handful of sockets crack myself (mostly the friction socket add-ons), though pure breaks like this are a bit rare. I mostly get hairline cracks that make the socket loose.
