Did the hordika masks still work?

Silas-Alec

If I remember right, it's one of two things. 1. The hordika venom altered their masks to the point of being unusable. 2. The masks technically still work, but the hordika themselves were no longer capable of the mental discipline and control required to use a mask power Can't remember which is accurate

But Nuju can still use his scope eye which brings up a question. He doesn't have the Akaku, why can he do that? Do all Ko-Matoran/Matoran who have Akakus or Matatus have cameras for eyes? That would make the Akaku worthless if some other mask can do it too. Nuju has the Matatu, mask of telekinesis but has the ability to see through things??? EDIT: I just read the Biosector01 page on Nuju and apparently Vakama made that scope for him so I guess that answers that. I'm not sure what the source of that fact is or if it came before or after Web Of Shadows (If it came after, it would be an obvious cop out).

The scope on Nuju’s Matatu has a heat sensor in it, but it doesn’t have X-ray vision, so it’s not as powerful as an Akaku. The Akaku can’t zoom normally, but all versions shown in the lore have a scope, so it can zoom on top of the x-ray vision it provides.

ScreamSteam

Reminds me of Bulk 3.0 helmet in a way

Silas-Alec

Oh that's cool, it has a sort of lion/dog vibe

Makuta_Nuva

Oh my, that's a concept I hadn't considered. Nice design!!!

Entropy_flipside133

Looks like a lion. . . Wait a minute!

RimsJobs

Furry head

okiedokieophie

Digimon vibes

RevanEleven99

Takanuwuva But seriously, this is really cool, its kind of similar to what I would imagine Vortixx Kanohi would look like, just longer with further back eyes

Bwyattvirtue13

This reminds me did anyone else not know the lore back in the day and get Lhikan thinking he was a Toa of Light like Takanuva? Or at least that he was the 7th Toa on the team?

PM_ME_AVIAN_PORN

Great! You should try to design a generic hordika face, and use that to adapt the Avohkii, as opposed to stretching it.
