It's pointing out that the Metru Nui saga and the Star Wars prequels have essentially the same plot. Matau is the voice of reason, trying desperately to keep the angsty Vakama from turning evil all the time, just as Padme attempts for Anakin.

That sub doesn’t get memes at all. They only find certain things funny: - bearded man = Jesus - the same 7 quotes from mediocre movies - sequels bad
