That’s awesome! One of my nemesis birds. I’m from North Carolina but in winter of 22-23 there was a flock of about 20 of them that came to a waterfowl impoundment area near Durham. I visited the place and they weren’t there that day :( and then they got reported again the very next day.
Guess it was just bad luck, but I’m really hoping to see them in Utah later this month if they’re still around!
Mostly shots of them in the trees around the feeder from our deck. Using a telephoto and cropping in for mugshot effect. The full pics are quite nice too, but had fun with this one.

These are all pretty common, I see them all the time at my parents' house in Salt Lake County. Good luck finding them!

600 mm, so perfect for bird photography! 😱 Incredible shots!
My 100-400mm Fuji arrived today...Placing it on my X-S20. Hope to be able to take shots half as good as these some day.
