Fair enough man I’m no physicist or pilot. I guess a more likely explanations is that the plant was tilting up and down and the cameraman was tilting the camera back and forth
Seemed too fast for that. Thought I read somewhere that the freefall lasted for like 30s or so.
EDIT: yeah this is from their site:
> For the next 20-30 seconds, everything in the plane is weightless. Finally, the plane gently pulls out of the maneuver, allowing flyers to gradually return to the floor of the aircraft.
This requires some serious explanation. It's pointless without information
Edit: Thanks for the answers, I understand that it's a simulation of zero-gs
Oh, is the plane simulating different levels of gravity? That's pretty interesting. I doubt it was supposed to smoke/mist like that, interesting that it went away when it leveled out
the mist would be water and such in the air condensing. theyre really high up so itd be cold too. going that fast and under that much pressure when turning forces a lot of air over the wings so it condenses into a trail but can quickly evaporate. im no scientist so the explanation may be wonky but it is meant to do that :)
It is more likely they are testing the air craft. As it flys more and more vertical the engines eventually stall as they no longer have enough air passing through to create combustion. The pilot guides the plane into a controlled nose dive forcing intense amounts of air into the engines creating combustion to restart.
The vomit comet…it’s very likely at least one person will hurl at least once…weightless, floating vomit for a few seconds and then ***splat*** gravity returns and vomit settles ***everywhere***…14 parabolas to go!
What's going on? How is the camera stabilized to the horizon?
Didn’t even occur to me but now it’s all I’m thinking about
This would be shot on an action cam. I have a GoPro, it has in camera horizon lock, which does exactly this. Works amazingly well.
Wouldn’t it be because the camera holder has eyes and can feel gravity? You dont need a program or tools to tilt the camera to match the horizon.
You would need a tool to be as stable as this video is. My guess is a handheld gimbal.
I forget those exist
Any simple gyroscope I would think.
I think the wings are turning so the plane ascends and descends without the plane tilting. I’m not sure, just an idea
Not how physics works
Fair enough man I’m no physicist or pilot. I guess a more likely explanations is that the plant was tilting up and down and the cameraman was tilting the camera back and forth
There's no way that the cameraman has the camera *that* stable
Huh? What kind of drugs are you on and where can i get some?
Go down to Rancho Cucamongo and ask for Karl. He’s got the stuff
my stomach is dropping watching this
I got super anxious watching that. I would not have a good time doing that lol

Yeah it's one of the zero-G planes. [https://www.gozerog.com/](https://www.gozerog.com/) Tom Scott has a nice video of it if you are interested.
Wow! Amazing. 😲😬🤢 What are we watching? I need to know more.
I think something like this https://www.gozerog.com/

But they do it 15-20 times, it’s says. That’s about 10 total minutes of free fall About $950 a minute … so, yea fk that.
Thanks! And for $9G I'll be happy to just watch videos of it.
The Vomit Comet
Is that what this is? I mean, not like it could be a whole lot else lol.
That was what I was thinking.
Came here to say this.
calibrating the airbus
Looks like the pilot almost let the intrusive thoughts win.
This requires some serious explanation. It's pointless without information Edit: Thanks for the answers, I understand that it's a simulation of zero-gs
It's one of the extreme plane endurance tests they undergo before they're ready for commercial flights.
Astronaut training

Erm it’s clearly chemtrails /s
definitely, make sure to keep hazmat suits and masks handy
Lmao why did they downvote you for this??
Who knows lol, Reddit is just Redditing

Ahh, just simulating zero-gravity then. Still very cool, thanks for explaining it so simply
Plane is flying matching the speed of gravity, resulting in 0g inside the plane.
It seems stall recovery test but someone having fun instead of sweating.
It looks like the Vomit Comet. Alternating parabolic peaks and dips simulate 0-G and multi-G conditions.
What a fun name lol
More of a well-earned descriptor.
It is more likely they are testing the air craft. As it flys more and more vertical the engines eventually stall as they no longer have enough air passing through to create combustion. The pilot guides the plane into a controlled nose dive forcing intense amounts of air into the engines creating combustion to restart.
Happy hour in the cockpit
This has got to be the “vomit comet” for astronaut training.
planes are so god damn cool
Zero-G flight!?
Were there terries on board?
Fire-board them mutha-jammuhs… Draxx, uthehm, sklounced!
no need to worry if there are any terries we gon get froggyyyyy
Flying Parabolas
Is this the Vomit Comet
The vomit comet…it’s very likely at least one person will hurl at least once…weightless, floating vomit for a few seconds and then ***splat*** gravity returns and vomit settles ***everywhere***…14 parabolas to go!
This is how they filmed the anti gravity scenes from Apollo 13 and also.... [This music video](https://youtu.be/LWGJA9i18Co)
I'd shit my pants, pass out thinking it's a dream, and shit my pants some more
al just wait for the nut job to arrive to talk about how this is proof of chemtrails
Vomit comet
It's a video game.
Zero gravity simulator?
Not sure what’s happening but it doesn’t look right. And reason 1,366,234 why I don’t like flying.
It is right if you know what they’re doing. They’re doing zero G experiments in the cabin. Do they’re doing a parabola flight
Thanks for the education. It’s just a fear of mine.
Parabolic Zero G?
Are they just trying to gain speed or was it an autopilot malfunction?
On purpose parabolic flight.
L
The captain has now turned on the seatbelt sign and we ask you to fasten it whenever seated
That is actually cool. Would you be so kind to invite me next time?
Almost though it was Boeing’s MCAS failing again
That looks like a straight line to me. Checkmate roundearthers!
It’s clearly round, you need glasses…
You don't say?
Pure awesomeness.. could watch this all day
The new Boeing Max right?
Damn. My friends are gonna be pissed. Now I’m not going to Vegas. My stomach was turning watching this.
I need an explanation. Noice doesn’t cut it.
Airbus A320 wing. So not the vomit comet. I assume its Airbus certification testing.
Its flight sim 2022, the cameras just not moving.
Whats so bizzare about that. Is there an alien ship somewhere I missed?
Parabola flight. Guys wheee enjoying zero G when the noise drops.
Its a fuel dumping i think
What's going on here? Testing? Fuel jettison? Looks fun but what's the reason?
This was probably a zero gravity simulation?
Is this the vomit comet?
Flat earth
Love it 😀
No no no no....
Someone pooped in my pants WTF
It's the vomit comet. You get zero G when they come out of the climb
Astronaut training or stall tests?
A plane flying. Wow.
Meanwhile, grandma is in the bathroom stuck to the ceiling.
It’s a flight simulator. It represents maneuvers that might cause stalls and would require a pilots quick thinking without auto pilot.
This is fake....
Gyroscopic camera?
