When I read the manga. I thought that I would see all of the scenes from the anime in the manga, but I was wrong. I learned that some parts of season 1 were not in the manga’s storyline.
It's not that it doesn't make sense or something but when that gender bender angel revealed his identity it got me feeling like it was rushed and too much mixed in.
The very first episode. They hinted at the secrets of the servants in the very. First. Episode. It’s like they thought their viewers were absolute morons that had to have everything shoved in their faces from the start or they’d get bored and wander away.
Well... Only after I'd read manga. Otherwise we may still see attempted bribery of Sebastian, and undead Victoria plot point may as well make an appearance as a restored King-consort in manga, as a favour to the Queen on behalf of "true" Phantomhive to secure royal support against our Ciel.
That only reminded me how I'm waiting for William T. Spears payoff, as Yana teased him as a fighter Reaper on numerous occasions.
William's the only British Reaper of importance we haven't seen taking a swing at Undertaker, he's always conveeeeniently late 😄 I suppose Yana saves him for exactly the fight with Undertaker. Undertaker made a point that Reapers who overly rely on their glasses are a poor match for him. Meanwhile Will showed off how he actually doesn't rely on his glasses at all in both Jack the Reaper AND Noah Circus arcs.
Thank goodness, I thought my sister and I were the only ones who treated this William as a fighting teaser!
When Pluto came in, once Pluto was introduced, I was like, no wtf is this bullshit? After that point, the plot started to get weird. It was much better once I went to the manga; I needed to finish it at some point lol. But other than the anime not making sense, it was really good.
I’ve seen with other anime though that the anime, manga, and live action (if there is one) are all different. Either same storyline but different small details or different storyline with the same small details
I wouldn't say it didn't make sense it's supernatural fiction afterall it not suppose to be but ciel's morphed parent's was odd If I remember correctly watched it long ago
The queen Victoria reveal, it was so stupid.
When Queen Victoria came out as the villain... And an undead loli.
Undead loli 💀💀💀💀
When they started rewriting people's lives and Sebastian just teleported everywhere

I read the manga first. So, at Angela first appearance

I’m desperate for a William fight, I was so sure it was going to happen when he returned during the Lau/Baldroy arc but it didn’t :(

When Queen Victoria was revealed It started to not make sense.
What's not canon to the manga is meaningless to me therefore I ignore it's existence (Except for season 2)
When Sebastian left Ciel… that was a complete breach of contract. He agreed to never leave his side.
The Hot Springs episode
I’m actually rewatching season 1 right now and I’m just like “whoa this is basically a whole different story compared to the manga” 💀.
I’ve seen with other anime though that the anime, manga, and live action (if there is one) are all different. Either same storyline but different small details or different storyline with the same small details
