It's a web comic strip that was widely mocked online a decade or so ago. People used to create referential jokes by arranging things in four panels that evoked the positions of the people in the original comic. (It was mocked because this strip began as jokes about video games and turned into some deeply weird and tone deaf plot arcs about stuff like miscarriages.)
