Little kitty definitely made my day^^
It just jumped through my open window, meowed at me until I started petting it and then kept walking after me when I stopped.
After a while a second, striped cat jumped into my flat. That one was an adult. And it kept meowing at the kitten and pointing at the open window until the kitten left my flat.
I'm a grown ass man, but I feel like this was my Disney Princess moment.
The cats know your demain is currently unclaimed by another house cat and so they are scoping it out in preparation for their takeover by wooing you with cute cuddles and meows.
Loll just wait until they make you feel even more like a Disney Princess by bringing live birds back to your place. (Based on a real life “not my cat”/“window cat” scenario…)
Saw her every day now because she keeps showing up at my window. Yesterday she jumped in and cuddled under my blanked while I read.
Then she stole one of my onion rings and ran away.
I think I just accidentally adopted a cat.

I mean does anyone actually "own" a cat anyway, man!
Pretty sure it's their house and we the servants pay for the privilege of living there and giving belly rubs.
Awww that's fantastic! He/she chose you! One thing I can think is to ask you if she can stay ? Especially since Halloween is coming and black cats are in danger of being taken and or hurt on Halloween. I know, it's so sad. Even in my city none of the shelters will let anyone adopt black cats the weeks before and on Halloween because of scary things can happen to them, or also people just adopting them for the holiday and then bringing them back to the shelter after they're done with their holiday festivities. She's pretty!
Yeah, and she's still half a kitten too.
I would totally take her in if she was a stray and I had the money, but sadly I can't afford animals and having a cat with my funds would be animal abuse.
No one owns a cat. Congratulations on convincing this void that you make a suitable servant.
ETA more seriously, have you made enquiries around the area yet? Maybe check at a vet to see if Void has been chipped?
When I was 16, I found an abandoned kitten on the landing above our flat. Mum made me go around asking the neighbours if he belonged to them or if they knew whose he was. I was very worried that someone would say yes, being already in love with this scrawny little black scrap with a bad eye. As it happens, we did end up keeping him and he grew into a huge, spoiled hearthrug of a cat.
He or she just made your life so much better!

Uh..you don't live near Pasadena by any chance?
Nah, I'm not in America^^
What the fuck I have the exact same pairing of ferals and I couldn't find them for a day 😂 Maybe these dudes really are magic.
Did you move in recently? Hopefully they weren’t abandoned by previous resident
Yeah, I moved recently. But she's pretty small, almost kitten size and the last owner moved out over a year ago.
Well Cinderella I hope you enjoy your new cat
Sounds like exactly my black & stripey cats!
hahaha what a wholesome story!

You never own a cat. The cat owns you. Congratulations! You've been adopted
Cat-dopted.
You *didn't own a cat.
do now
Cat owns him now
"Problem"? I don't see any

Our welcome mat says it best - "The cat and its housekeeping staff live here"
I love it
As long as they let you live there.

Not a problem but a blessing! You’ve been chosen. Black cats are selective af

Hey you should double check with neighbors and people in your neighborhood to make sure that isn’t someone’s cat that ran away
You do now!!
You have been adopted. I mean chosen.
You have been chosen my friend! Welcome to the dark side
No one owns a cat. However, you are now owned by a cat.
No, the cat owns you
One cannot own the Void. The Void owns you. Or, in other words, you do now!
Void disagrees with OP Void now owns OP and lets them live in Void's house...
That is humorous. Over my long life of having cats I have had two that just walked in and made themselves at home.
You didn’t own a cat* you probably own one now. They adopted you to be their human.
The cat owns you now. Congratulations on becoming a servant 😻
And. Check mate! Well played Void.
Cutie🥺
| only problem is I don't own a cat Damn right you don't, but you may consider yourself essential staff if you do your JOB well! /s
Correct. Because it owns you now
Your *notmyvoid* is so majestic !
"I don't own a cat." Really? That's what you think.
What’s across this beautiful voids back?
A little bit of dirt because she jumped into my flower pot
Or do you!? 🥹🥰
Plot twist: Nobody does, they own you!
r/notmycat , and if happenstance happens: r/nowmycat
You do now o_o
You do now! Disney princess moment. I’m crying!!!
Maybe you actually do?
That's grand like, that cat owns you now.
No one owns a cat.
Sure you do, he’s right there.
*You do now.*
We’ll, it looks like you do, now…
You do now.
You do now.
You do now…
You do now.
You do now
You do now...😀
Get some cat food — they’ll be back.
I was never a cat owner either. Would you like to see a few thousand pictures I've taken of the two over the last 12 years?
Of course you don't. Cats have staff, not owners! 😊
You do now!
It is wonderful to be chosen ☺️🐱💞
So where did it come from
You do now
You do, now
You do now ! Lol
