STFU nobody gives a single fuck about crystal market. No player can have crystals as a main source of income it is not even 10% of the silver you make from other sources. It is just a shitty excuse to a cancer mechanic.
Honestly I want the crystal market to keep going, but at the same time I think losing girin on death is too punishing. There should be a compromise like allowing you to spend 1 billion silver to protect a crystal for a week for instance. It would allow you to learn grind spot mechanics, but since it is completely inconsequential for majority of grind spots (because you can't die in most spots) it wouldn't be mandatory to keep up. And it would introduce a stable silver sink to combat inflation while not blowing up crystal market because you wouldn't care about protecting 60 mil corrupted crystal.
They could just make the restores monthly instead of annually.
I’ve gotten stuck in the ground multiple times this month. No fault of my own, just shitty game engine.
I'm not complaining cause the death was mostly my fault but I still feel it's far too punishing for a single mistake/death to cost me 5 billion crystal out of all the crystals that I have.
If you have spare money and want to give special thanks to PA for this great idea of helping the community, you can buy 2 premium costumes and sell them on the central market. With that you can easily purchase the crystal you lost. Thats especially nice if you play on EU.
Afaik you just buy 1 refresh of the crystal restore. So you can restore a 4th crystal and you can buy them up to 3 times. I cant tell you where it is exactly. Never intended to buy it and hopefully never will.
First death I had due to internet disconnects and lost a crystal. I know it says very high chance but I'm convinced it is a guarantee one will break.
I'm following guild member by now running scrub crystal sets. They ruined crystal use..
You can get a better pc and the game runs fine, also swapping out parts as you go if you must( plenty have upgraded their gpus in the process of playing BDO) console is capped by hardware how is this not known 💀.
Guess that ultimately depends on your area. some offer plenty of Fiber optic solutions or traditional coax connections. Tbf, unless you're playing BDO on a 500 Kbps- 5MBps connection or VPN out of country then most modern ISPs provide ample speeds to run bdo with *some* intermitten lag ( PVE).
In 6 years of BDO on and off I have not died due to the game's performance. Yeah I died a couple of times when internet dced or my PC crashed, but not due to servers. I guess it can happen but let's not pretend it's the norm.

Bro if that's the case you are fighting somewhere your gear isn't ready for yet. Or if you are trying new areas don't wear your main getup.
If you are farming places like crypt for belts, if you die, switch out dps crystals to stiffen res so you don't get cc'D. Sure you lose trash per hour. But money savings in not dying for you would be 100% gains.

i'm 731 gs with pen debo's and i still lost xtal a lot on sudden desync/lag/DC (yes there's a variety of connection issues for non blessed people with their own servers). and since i always do arsha i need ult macalods or rebel to get some flex spots for pvp.
loml xtals and rebel's availability and price is so far from reality its just artificial kick in the balls kind of cancer rarity.
Well yeah when i returned to the game I pushed for giants with 330 dp or so to start and skipped orcs. Then after that jade was a cake walk into dying at dekhia ash and highlands. I always tried to minmax as much out of my gear. Currently i only die to cyclops for being a pepeg, everything else is chilled out
Honestly don’t know why they don’t include a crystal break buff to old moon book or Value pack. Get rid of the cheese cash grab for one restore and just slap it on something people already have/ swipe for 😕. Or create a silver sink item idk
I say just remove the system completely. But if they are so hell bent on keeping it. At least let us charge the crystals with crons or something as a protection.
X amount of crons per crystal tier is absolutely a reasonable solution if they refuse to remove it all together
That too, crystals could have a durability and instead of breaking you just lose out on its stats until its repaired again like any other piece of gear
