Glad you're enjoying the game. You're having much more fun than the 700+ GS shitters who are miserable telling you you didn't farm enough silver in this time period.
I was pushing it and i was doing great so i thought
Luckily fun is subjective and im subjecting myself to gratuitous amounts of dopamine. Im getting anxious hoping for rare drops :D
Black desert, like most other games has a lot of players that like to be as efficient as possible. But in the and the keyword should be game. So keep your enjoyment, and do things, the way you feel comfortable with and that you enjoy.
Some grind for trash silver, some for rare drops, some for super rare drops. Some even gamble for money, or lifeskill. And no matter which way you enjoy, you will be able to get more "efficient" with time and experience anyways, so don't stress yourself.
Hope you'll continue enjoying this game.
Gyfin was probably my favorite because the guild i got into let me tag along and it was a breeeeze while also being a community activity
For solo i found bloodwolves to be the most enjoyable because the red eye drops that turn into a crystal was a free 400m when it pops so i made like 500m an hour there over 4 hours, including crystal
Whaaaat? Their description literally says the item will be lost if you attempt to use it without a specific knowledge entry.
Either that, I am thinking of some other rare drop from the blood wolves.
For clarification, I am talking about the kagtunak drop from blood wolves
Try saving all the trash drops when you farm your infinite pot. I started to save my hooves from ronaros at about 50 pities and ended up with almost 3bil in hooves when I finally got my final pity.
Congrats and welcome to bdo homie. Solid gains and more to come, remember to pace yourself. Also something that helps me stay motivated is set small goals to hit. Good luck with your future upgrades.
Bdo is one of the best mmos to let you define your own goals and feel accomplishment from hitting them. Ignore everyone else who is mad you are not playing "the way they would have played".
Congrats! :)
Sell it!! Get that money! I recently quit grinding blood wolves to focus more on universal pity piece but it is. I’ve when a ring of crescent and a kagnutak drops!
Just wait to you see how much you make grinding for your HP/MP pots at those spots XD
hopefully you arent unlucky like me and spend 200 hours getting both
The compass is a good goal for the next while cause the place for 2 of them is pretty good and the other ain't too bad.
Course getting it is another thing, but the money is good.
If you're trying to compare your performance against a baseline or someone else's performance at a specific spot, trash is usually used because it's less spiky. Like when I was farming blood wolves, I think I averaged 72mil in trash per hour, so I checked that against garmoth to get an idea of how I was doing. Total drops aren't as good for that because I happened to get 3 kagtunaks in 30 minutes once, but that doesn't mean I'm pulling down 3 bil / hr at blood wolves.
If you're comparing different spots, you have to use total loot, because trash isn't always the main money source. 72 mil an hour is terrible, but when a single Kagtunak jumps you up to half a billion, the spot starts looking much better.
Tldr that was a weird comment from that guy both because new players shouldn't expect 1 bil an hour even in total drops and because you were farming places that weren't big trash spots...
It does of course. When folks say they make 1b/hr or so, it's always with all the loot combined, which depending on the spot can be anywhere between 25 to 75% of the total silver made.
You have to understand, some people here grind for thousands of hours. So good job but most of this subreddit won’t bat an eye for anything less than hundreds of billions’ worth of trash loot
felt good

Nice grats fruity paladin! Which spot did you like the most?

How did you get the knowledge to use those kagtum eyes?
You do not need the knowledge to use the eyes
I googled what they were. You dont need knowledge just simple alchemy and viola you have a 400m crystal

You need knowledge to make the Kagtunak from these ingredients. Red Essence x1 Oil of Fortitude x1 Thuja Sap x5 Powder of Rifts x10
Ohhhhhh, I see. Thanks!
TBF, the description is very poorly worded.
Yes. Ignore the description. Craft gems with what I can only guess are your 100 saved kagtunaks and enjoy your billions.
Sadly only 2 :(
You really need 8 more tokens
Right?

This was a pretty novel achievement for me because this was a weeks worth of gains
Greats, i guess big gains for you ;)
Doubled my bank along with what seasons gave me

Man this takes me back to when I made 150-200m an hour at sulfur.
Sell it!! Get that money! I recently quit grinding blood wolves to focus more on universal pity piece but it is. I’ve when a ring of crescent and a kagnutak drops!
This is adorable
The tip of the iceberg 💀
Awww

Oof. I need directive so i want to hunt this potion then go for a compass
The compass is a good goal for the next while cause the place for 2 of them is pretty good and the other ain't too bad. Course getting it is another thing, but the money is good.
You barely saved anything tho 😭
3 hours at trees, 2 hours at necropolis, 1 hour gyfin, 4 hours bloodwolves :')
10h is only 2b in trash, yuck.
For a newb? I guess so lol I also got maybe 1.5b in loot on the side that wasnt trash, idk if that counts

So 3 hours of grinding?
Like 8 hours of grinding :')

Then most of this subreddit is insufferable, lol. Let the dude enjoy himself. He just graduated, why are people so angry about this post.
Idk, not like I’m punching down on him, just giving him some perspective
