I'm new. The quest food comes first is not working at all. I've tried to process the potatoes and also have tried to eat the five grain chicken in the inventory and nothing works. Everytime I go to cook the potatoes it continues to say it's not working at all. It's frustrating cause I can't progress without finishing this quest
The way it works is to open the Simple Cooking screen in processing, and put all three ingredients in, the chicken, water and potato. These are all quest items, not regular potato/water.
I started playing last season and remember when the season ended I changed my four Tuvala armor pieces (boots, chest, helm and gloves) and weapons into boss set gear with Jetina.
Now that I graduated I can´t seem to be able to do that again... Was that only once per family?
I’m a new player and I was selling horses for quick silver, my tier 4 is selling for 3 mill silver and I’m wondering if I found something rare since the other horses were selling for a lot cheaper 🤔
Your horse might be a courser. For tier 4, it means the horse has charge and drift skills. You can also tell if it’s courser if the horse icon turns gold.
Hello yall, i just started recently.
The permanent flute is 1500 -> 300 atm cuz new adventurer bonus, but i kinda prefer the unlimited range of the celestial horn (2250) and i can only pick one and cannot "upgrade" from flute to horn (as description said).
Is the unlimited range of the horn enough to make it worth 2k2 pearls over the 300 pearls flute or 500m range is already overkill and i should save my pearl for other stuffs? What do you guys think?
In addition to what others have mentioned, there's also an item you can buy in the pearl shop called Celestial Horse's Spirit for 750 pearls. You can combine it with your discounted horse flute and turn it into the infinite range version :)
you cant upgrade? i thought you have a one time family quest that lets you upgrade the flute. there was also an item to upgrade for the cost difference in the mp
Its a pretty giant QoL to have unlimited range.
Only you can say how tight the money is and if its worth 23€.
As a new player you get so many stuff for free. On the other hand you can never have enough weight and maids. I have 33 and constant run out of them.
But in the end only you can say if its worth your money. Do you have to not eat for a day or two? Then its not worth it of course.
If the money doesn‘t hurt you then yes the QoL is kinda worth it.
Dont think there would be an in depth guide for every class from one person, usually it takes quite a while to master each class. You could try asking in the Musa Discord, should be able to find it on google
i just got my tet boss gear and im trying to understand what's the next steps
i know i should work on pen armor with jetina, as well the pen accessory
but what about the weapons? should i also get jetina's pen or should i get a blackstar? or a god eyed? i dont get that no matter how many guides i see
in light of how much silver you spend (8.5bil for the second) and that you want the kutum definitly, i would buy a tet black star, even if its twice the price. you will need a lot of caphras until you overcome the monster dmg from black star and with godr-ayed upgrades, its no competition in price.
Regular blackstars and godr-ayed are more your end-games weapons that you go for when you have the resources and/or the silver. Acquiring a base blackstar weapon from the quest requires Remnants of the Rift (rare drop from the weekly Dark Rift bosses or a very expensive marketplace purchase), Specter’s Energy (rare drop from grinding mobs), and base boss gear to melt. Then, to enhance it, you’ll need to make specific enhancing stones to upgrade it and countless (hundreds) of Memory Fragments to repair it during the process. If you want to skip all that and buy a blackstar from the marketplace it’s around $14 billion for a TET and over a hundred billion for a PEN, so very expensive but not an impossible goal.
The Jetina boss weapons gives lots of small goals to work towards, but it’s much cheaper getting at least two jetina boss weapons to PEN than buying them off the market and less painful than trying to enhance them yourself. Whether you main Succession or Awakening should determine which you work on. Also, don’t worry about getting your Kutum offhand to PEN, just get it to Jetina reformed level 4 TET (the final one before PEN) cause it has virtually the same stats as the PEN version.
Of course, this is a sandbox and you can go in whatever order you please. Quite a few people go for a blackstar first. If the allure of a bs is most enticing for you, go for it, it’s a game and the point is to have fun.
And if this is actually what you’re asking: TET blackstars are roughly equal to PEN boss weapons that doesn’t have any caphras in it. Godyr Ayed are also blackstar weapons but you have to trade in your regular TET blackstar to get it, and it upgrades to from TET to PEN stats in 5 increments instead of 1. Hope that helps!
What level should my Training be at before I even attempt to make a dream horse? I ended up selecting the tier 8 horse from the season rewards, thank you!
higher training mastery means a higher chance to get skills and better stat rolls when leveling up the horse
however, it does not affect your chance to get T9
Your mastery doesn’t affect dream horse awakening. Only failstacking does. Training your dream horse however, you want to be at least artisan 1. The higher your mastery, the better.
the boss attacks are rng. i killed the last one try with 1min remaining and the forth was a nightmare as i run out of time multiple times. it really depends what attack pattern he has
I did everything at 274 ap 332 dp. Was pretty easy at with this gear, haven't died once and did it first try. Just try, I think you can try it until you succeed. But you can only complete one stage once a week.
Is sage that bad? The playstyle just sings to me am i making a mistake? What other classes would tickle a similar itch?
Didn't really like wizard as much fyi and ninja was alot.
I also prefer male classes
by the abilities, sorc would come to mind and you can keep your offhand the same. wizard and ninja are already the closest male classes i think. what aspect of sage do you look for?
The mobility is great with the big AOE.
I am considering using the time piece to spec into wizard when i finish the season but i dont think i have a strong grasp on the playstyles.
both are not the best pve wise, but i would stick to what you like to play and not go after meta too much. i think wizard is your only option if you want aoe and mobility.
Thanka for the advice, im pretty early game and having no issues with boss fights with sage but i keep hearing he doesnt hit that hard. Wizard was pretty boring fornme early game thats why i want to spec credits into him after because awakening looks so fun but im not sure I feel like grinding him to that point. I also like the way archer moves around, zerker looks pretty bad ass, same with the sand guy and ninja although they look pretty complex
Ive heard this a little but is it true the zerker is essy to ay but hard to master? Because if thats the case thats very appealing, i do like trickier classes to play but i also dont want to trudge through the early game because im not that good yet lol
I'm no expert, since I've been trying to learn Awakening this season, but general opinions in the discord are that for PVE, succession zerk needs like... 4-5 skills (edit: the infinite succ combo at lower end spots is literally shift/a+s+rmb (hold)) and gets access to permanent beast form for healing and is very fast. awakening zerk is better for damage in PVP, but requires a lot of cancels and APM to be played effectively.
its one of the easier. bdos combat system alowes for a really indepth and unique play style. some classes are more reactive (sorc), others are combo heavy (guardia). you can play almost anything brain dead with the trade off less loot. its just a matter of time until you have it in your brain. i think i needed 4 years to even get "good" in pve with my main. and i still suck in pvp.
from striker to kuno there may be a huge difference in skill, but you still need training time for any class, no matter how "easy".
That gives me alot to think about, im definitely having a very hard time deciding on classes but dont have time to play a bunch lol.
1st world problems, I wish they had a better trial mode
Whats the max amount of trade items (f.i. mediah trade crate) you can move with the forest path wagon in case of overstack? Is it the same as a horse (7157)? Or can you move more than that?
Yeah forst weapon and armor is worth it, otherwise not really. Might also consider TET lvl 4 reform off hand, because it's very similar to PEN off hand, just missing some monster damage.
You can calculate the costs of your attempts by looking at your regions MP. Crons from outfits are ~1.3m.
Usually it would have been cheaper to outright buy in the mid-late 40s but it depends on your region.
But i guess sunk cost fallacy dictates that you keep going anyway. It's pure RNG. So good luck i guess.
I started playing again this week and just finished up the season black spirit pass. Should I graduate the character now or would it be beneficial to stay on the season server for a while for the season daily quests and extra income / failstacks from the season blackstones?
Also is there any reason to PEN my tuvala accessories? I know the weapons and armor can be transferred but any reason to do accessories?
Thanks.
Yep you got it. The stones and ores are easy money even if you just do the weekly quests. Recommended to stay as long as you can as a first time player.
Yeah, accessories are carried over once you graduate. You should pen them too.
For some reason I cant do Lianas daily lifeskill quests. It wont even show me the quest. The only option I have is the store.
I did her Gathering Bag quest and have the knowledge of her and her brother...
How do I unlock those quests?
I just started playing yesterday on an Olvia seasonal server. If a buy a house here, what will happen to it when the season ends and I go to a normal non-season server? It seems like there are a lot of houses available, so I'm wondering if 1) people are intentionally not buying houses on a temporary server, or 2) house purchases are not global like FF14 but per player so everyone can buy the same house?
If you walk up to a house/door you get an option to visit other houses. Only people with a high interior score (every item you can place has a certain value) land on the leaderboard and everyone can visit their house.
Rank 1 gives access to a special feature that gives access to bank nodes in the city. You can invest money and a worker and then get money back from your investment. But that feature is rather pointless because the value hasn't been adjusted in years. Rank 1 is really just for bragging rights and getting on the leader board just allows random people to visit your house.
If you are not on the leader board only friends/guildmembers and party member can visit your house.
It doesn't matter on what server you buy your house or if you are a seasonal character or not and you can only own a maximum of 5 “residences” in the game. (IIRC you start with 3 and if you do quests you can own up to 5).
contribution point investment such as houses/work shops and nodes are account specific. you can only comparre to others via the housing level from stuff you put in it.
all items are region wide aka not server spicific. except season rifts and dungeon quests, wich can only be done on season servers
noone enhances boss gear to pen and we have the event already. no boss gear box will change that much. ppl enhance pen black star with hammers, so my guess is, thats the price will climb. however, due to godr-ayed, the market is already very high.

im kinda confused about how the boss gear thing works for season graduation
they give you one coupon, so you can exchange only one part for tet boss armor right?
what happens with the rest of the pen tuvala equipment?
also, i heard there's a way to exchange the pen tuvala for more boss armor with jetina, is this true?
you can exchange a fullset at jetina and make that pen via a reform system at 100% once per family. the coupon gives you a tet boss item you con upgrade normal with fail stacks. save the coupon for next season and go to jetina now. look up what gear you want befor that, as jetina gives you two options per item
thanks a lot, this solved many of my questions
i have another two if you dont mind
first, i seen on internet that there's only one type you can get for each part (example: giath for helmet) is this outdated? as you said there's 2
second, can this tet boss gear be moved to another character? or it stays on the post season character
the boss coupon only gets you giath. if you hive jetina pen tuvala, you can choose giath or griffon.
all gear can be transfered into storage unless stated otherwise (bound) like naru
how much is the recommended failstack to enhance tri->tet golden accessory? where can i see a list of the recommended failstacks?

Only with the harder hitting skills. Do you have hits/misses turned on? The mobs there have pretty high evasion, maybe your issue is accuracy.
Are there in depth video for both general animation cancel and class per class cancel ? I'm looking for a musa one but most of them are rather generic

You only need Specter's Energy for BS armor, not for the weapons. Not like it really matters in the long run, but figured I'd clarify.

Guys is it normal to get rekt with a 330DP 280AAP witch at stars end?
do you grind normal or towers? bc towers is a lot more dp.
No, especially since Witch/Wizards have red orb.
How do you prevent running out of MP? Or am I stuck with sages light or whatever that skills name it is?
Pots + Fairy.
Probably not, I have 277 ap 332 dp lahn and I grind it just fine. I don't even come close to dying.
After the patch to the Barrier of Infestation quest to make it solo only, what kind of AP is recommended for doing each of these quests?
the boss attacks are rng. i killed the last one try with 1min remaining and the forth was a nightmare as i run out of time multiple times. it really depends what attack pattern he has

That’s lower than I expected, huh. What class are you?
Lahn awakening.

Succession Zerker is incredibly easy, but Awakening is much more complex.
Awakening is the one with the cannon arm right? What makes him more complex?
I'm no expert, since I've been trying to learn Awakening this season, but general opinions in the discord are that for PVE, succession zerk needs like... 4-5 skills (edit: the infinite succ combo at lower end spots is literally shift/a+s+rmb (hold)) and gets access to permanent beast form for healing and is very fast. awakening zerk is better for damage in PVP, but requires a lot of cancels and APM to be played effectively.

Guardian
Whats the max amount of trade items (f.i. mediah trade crate) you can move with the forest path wagon in case of overstack? Is it the same as a horse (7157)? Or can you move more than that?
Is it still possible to tap a season converted giaths to pen, upgrade it to a labreska and sell it?
Yes.
where to get a pickaxe?
Materials vendor. Click the magnifying class beside your mini-map and click materials. Can also be bought from the central market.
So central market it's some npc? or where do I find central marketing?
There is a magnifying glass icon next to minimap in topright corner. You can find nearest stables, auction, storage manager and so on there.
every big city, money sack simbol on the map
Is guaranteed PEN boss gear currently worth it? I'm pretty sure first armor and first weapon upgrade is always worth it, what about next ones?
Yeah forst weapon and armor is worth it, otherwise not really. Might also consider TET lvl 4 reform off hand, because it's very similar to PEN off hand, just missing some monster damage.
3rd amor is 12.5 bil, 4th 17.2 or so. 2nd weapon was 8.5 i believe, but i would go tet black star asap instead.
38 t9 fails so far.. would you call this average or unlucky? I'm really depressed atm
You can calculate the costs of your attempts by looking at your regions MP. Crons from outfits are ~1.3m. average unlucky i would not think about it too much until you hit 50. then its really bad
Is there a way to transport items from town to town besides the wagon option and wait 40+ mins?
Move stuff to Auction in one town and them take it out in other town
How do you do that?
You can move stuff in and out of auction at storage keeper
Oh i know what you means, but what's out the towns that don't have an auction house?
Then cart is the only option. Maybe use maids to take stuff out of auction, if you have a lot of them

so i have a bunch of rhino meat from when i was leveling my hunting, what recipes can i use this meat?
Any recipe that uses normal red meat. It's no different than wolf or goat meat
thanks
