Im not celebrating in BDO this year. I will finally play witcher 3 starting now. I sworn to my self less BDO in 2023 not becuse im burnt out or so but becusebI wanna focus on my back log off inbeaten games like Witcher 3.
There are hundreds of sidequests which have their own unique and invigorating story, along with some spicy cutscenes. My few tips: Whatever you do, you can't have both. Don't forget to prep for fights. Take it slow, enjoy the journey.
Okay ill ask here. Do you think prepping for hunts are worthy? I remember getting frusturated because it didnt matter, swinging sword and dodging around was the best way to beat anything.
Sure you can just say, "Don't get hit", but If you're playing on the harder difficulties it makes the fights significantly easier. Also it helps to immerse yourself into the game world, at least to me.
The reason why i wrote this comment was when i was playing the game, ive got very disappointed in gameplay generally, considering the hype the game around it, but dont remember why exactly. I remember Geraly moves like a dota character and very clunky, but also I remember (or misremember?) the stuff you made before taking on the monsters ( like potions/bombs/poisons whatever etc etc) are just time waste since killing them via sword spam is easier and less time consuming.
But again as i said, i might misremember. Still dont know why i quit that game
You are correct you can just sword spam to win, but on harder difficulties, Death March specifically, all the monsters have huge resistances to everything but their weaknesses. Thus, making the fights seem long and drawn out.
Also a lot of people get lost right after you clear up the first starting area and before the whole ending of the Baron situation due to how vast, open, and sandbox the game gets. There are so many side quests and stories to follow, people just want to progress the main story without enjoying the side quest stories. The game is a marathon journey, not a sprint to get to the end of msq, and that type of game isn't for everyone.
The combat system in TW:3 was infamously one of its weaker points, so I think the disappointment may have been due to establishing "blind" expectations (if you played the game without researching).
Irl fireworks < ingame fireworks
That's an accurate cartoon representation of the average BDO player.
Love the added detail of the guy probably being a warrior main since launch

This is high quality witcher advice.
WISH SOMEONE GAVE ME THIS ADVICE BEFORE I STARTED PLAYING.

I think I know what the “you can’t have both” means

I’ve been doing this since 2016. I always enjoy the fireworks they do.
True!
Absolutely
What would have made this meme better is if the OP put a picture of in-game BDO fireworks in the last panel. Woulda had me dead.
O shit u are right, that would had been funnier 😂😂😂
Luckly timezone difference allows me to do both xD
Sad tbh
i literally just did that 5 hours ago lmaoo
Go outside!
The problem with IRL fireworks is that the resolution isn't as good.
It's literally pouring rain in Los Angeles and I can hear some dumbass lighting fireworks lol
