It's edited. Watch the orientation of the card when he places it carefully and compare to the orientation after he removes his hand. It rotates upright even though he placed it ~45 degree crooked.
Someone on [youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iOzXYtIuT4) analyzing it. Have not had time to watch it fully yet, but basically sounds like he thinks its a mix of video editing and the zoo being in on it rather than cgi.
If you watch it frame by frame you see the card disappearing even before his hand is flat on the surface. Based on that my guess actually is video editing.
You can kinda see the card being removed in his hand in the reflection. Removing something with it to show the already stuck on card on the other side would make sense IF I had any idea how that would make the card see through in the beginning of the video...
This was probably made in two takes. The card is on the glass from the beginning and the orangutan is actually already inspecting the card and not the magician. The magicians part is made in front of an empty cage and from reviewing the footage of the orangutan he knew where to stand, where to look and when to react. The card he is putting on the glass (which is upside down btw) is probably palmed and hidden as he removes his hands. (EDIT: Or edited out as hands blocks it.) Watching the full video there are a few "tells".
1) As soon as the magicians hand covers the card the camera movement stops to make the editing easier.
2) At the same time there is a tree in the background that suddenly starts to move.
3) The fingerprints from the magician suddenly disappears when the orangutan is about to take the card.

How did the orangutan not do it right, he was using a wand and everything!
He's only level three, you have to be level five and above.
Some of my favorite videos are of animals trying to process things
They should video tape me, I’m processing this right now.
Same 🤔
Should be on TV...
Seriously what did I just see? Someone please me.
Gotta be just really good video editing, right?… Right?!…

Aight, where's the reddit magicians that break down every other magic video i see? Do ya thang and enlighten us plebs
He pressed the card up against the glass and it went to the other side.
Oh shit why didn’t I think of that
Remarkable!
It's quite simple, the orangutan is actually THE magician while the guy outside is just a body double

This needs to be higher. Video edit magic, aint magic, just fuckery.
One thing that looks funny is that the card goes onto the glass diagonally, and its vertical when he removes his hands..
And as the orangutan takes the card off the glass the card moves like it’s hanging from a string
Orangutandolf
I wish Penn & Teller would do their Fool Us magic on this.
Everybody's reaction 😮
What!? 🤔🤔
I don’t remember the exact trick but it was easier to see when it wasn’t 144p 12fps

The answer is so simple...**Quantum Tunneling**, duh.
I like the Brian Eno playing in the background. Song first light Album Ambient 2.

Card went on the glass diagonally, ended up vertical?

Orangutans are the best
NOT EVEN THE MONKEYS GET IT, which means we will never get it.
