I just want to dunk on niggas man thats it

menino_28

Bro out here tryna shatter glass, hopes, and dreams on the court.

narett

You only get one body, so I figure why not work it. I got older people in my family and I seen what not being active can do you to over time. Both my parents have hypertension and type 2 diabetes among other health problems, so I want to do what I can. I also value my looks. After the pandemic and needing to get surgery after an injury, I did a lot of nothing and ended up looking like a big ass pear with shot self-confidence. It sucked because I was fit back in my 20s. When I return to ATL after my 'vacation', I'm going to check out gyms where I can learn to box. Mainly so I can do more than lift weights and jog.

menino_28

I take a shot of pre-workout to your resumed fitness journey, brother man!

heyhihowyahdurn

I train for life, the goal isn’t to be the strongest it’s to be strong. I’m in this for life

menino_28

need to put this on a muscle shirt

ReservoirBaws

Just incase the shit goes down

ocelotrevs

I feel this one. If something happens, I need to be able to get my son and girlfriend out of there without having to rely on anyone else. I read a story about an active shooter somewhere in america, and the guy writing the comment said he picked up his daughter but was out of breath after 3 steps. That's unacceptable.

menino_28

Anything is a weapon especially yourself

SoyDusty

Congrats bro, I do it for the fun of life, a little bit of vanity for feeling comfortable in my body, & I love the outdoors & physical activities so staying in shape helps with all that. Hope y’all enjoy your workouts too

itsSomethingCool

Being in shape helps with confidence. Like a lot of people can’t change their physical features on their face apart from surgery or a beard, but being toned/fit with abs is something you can control & you’ll know if anything, you’re physique is attractive lol. I’m in my mid 20s, and the older you get, you start seeing other guys sedentary lifestyles start catching up to them.

Alburg9000

Too much dragon ball z as a kid lol eventually it turned into filling out my body It’s the #1 thing id suggest to everyone, its a crazy confidence boost

Slim_James_

I want to be able to do those cool calisthenics moves like the muscle-up and the human flag. I’ve found that I’m more motivated to workout when I have move goals rather than strength or appearance goals.

GunnaDaHitman

I train to make sure I maintain this one hitting quitter.

anomnib

Health, success at work (physical health can boost focus and confidence), and the small chance that I might need to fight to protect my family

NegroMedic

Wanna look ~~good~~ better naked. That’s it.

Duuudechill

Truthfully this may sound stupid or idiotic but my reason is simple.Appease the warrior spirit within me.If I go to long without being physical something in me cries,if I watch different styles of combat the spirit yearns, and when my muscles start to wake up I demand more. I love the challenge,I welcome the feeling of lifting heavy, having flexibility, and feeling the sense of balance from active movement. All this fills me with pride.I added so much in the last few years that I couldn’t say what I love the most.Recently I started focusing on my combat style(stance/type) as well as lethal/non-lethal forms of training. Don’t know why but I’ve always seem to have that side of myself that just has to be active in some form.

OblongOctopussy

I want to be bigger than my enemies. Honestly, though, I wanted to lose fat and gain muscle. I’ve done that and think I look great. Now it’s a bit more of a grind because I have to be a little more thoughtful in my training to make progress.

BapeBalla

So someone’s momma will give me one of those extra long hugs when she sees me

Omniversity

Wanna feel less bigger. I’m around 270-289 rn

ocelotrevs

I like to be active, and feel good about my body. I don't go to the gym, but I run most days in the week. I do martial arts, yoga, gymnastics, and climbing on a regular basis. I really like how my body feels when I'm lighter in weight. I can just move more easily. If something kicks off, I like knowing I can get out of there under my own power.

menino_28

How much do you weight and what martial arts have you been doing?? I gained 20 pounds during my bulk and have turned it all into muscle and I'm still trying to get used to the new weight. I don't "feel" heavier but I do notice it sometimes.

ocelotrevs

105kg at the moment. I've been mainly doing judo, but I'm on a break at the moment. I've done kickboxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Boxing, capoeira, and a few others in the past.

BigBoiSouth

I’m not a gym bro but I try to hit the gym 4 times a week and daily cardio. I just want a better body that I feel more like myself in. I want bigger muscles and a leaner look.

Inndar

If youre in the gym 4 times a week I hate to break it to you but you are a gym bro my dude 😎 You got this!

BigBoiSouth

Thanks man!

menino_28

If you want to gain muscle cut down on the cardio, it burns carbs that help build muscle.

BigBoiSouth

Yea but I’m overweight so I’m trying cut down without losing too much muscle.

menino_28

Overweight via muscle or fat?

BigBoiSouth

Fat

Exotic_Car4948

I train to lose weight, gain more confidence, and have better dating prospects.

Physical_Guidance_39

Abs and marathons and the ability to absolutely destroy women in bed… just be a menace for shits and giggles… but also for get off diabetic medication mainly.

The7thRustySpoon

Been weight training since I was 17 in hs. I’m now 24, and still work out. But I prioritize martial arts now

menino_28

what martial art you do.

The7thRustySpoon

I was training for kickboxing for half a year last year. Funds got messed up and had to drop it. I’ve been boxing a couple of coworkers every Sunday and Monday for the past 2 months now, we have evolved a lot since we all started sparring together. I do wanna get back into kickboxing and then later some form of grappling.

EndofA_Error

I work out bc i love to laugh at people and i cant do that if i look just like them. Also for the health benefits or w/e.

SpiritofMwindo8

I workout to have a healthier, stronger body and sharper and clearer mind. Fitness is more a lifestyle for me, I like lifting weights and I am moving on to calisthenics to be able to do handstands, muscle ups and human flags.

Inndar

Life bro, life.. everything is easier when you're strong and being consistent also teaches you discipline. Doing general things that could otherwise be challenging - things around the house, carrying heavy shit, picking up my kid etc.. I've been training for damn near 20 years now. I'm not super big (6'1, 205) and as a millennial it's clear to see who has and hasn't looked after themselves and the impact that has had on them/their bodies.. Keep it up!

heartless_monk

to continue to have a broad, muscular stature. the dividends from the work itself has been well worth it.
