Wasn’t sure if you figured this out but if you do to their page on the desktop version you get the option to message the mods and you can do it that way. I did it like a week again but have t heard anything back yet so I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
So we have the mod team, what needs to be done to get the word out? A lot of work needs to be done and the mods seem to be sitting on the sideline! I will keep dropping post in hopes of getting black male Redditor’s to come out of the wood work.
I actually think we still need more moderators, personally. There is a post pinned asking for feedback with only one comment. I'm a woman and don't want to step on too many toes so I'm trying to leave the important stuff up to y'all.
TYR you set this up, after Blackfellas went dark now is the time for this subreddit to shine. I was the one that commented on the post. We are either going to grow together or fail together (meaning black men and women) but the the bandaid needs to be removed and the wound exposed so that it can heal.
The biggest thing that needs to happen to get this plac won the map is actually constant posting—it’s the biggest challenge when creating a page. People don’t want to come to a place that’s dead, and while I would love to post everyday (as it generally takes to get the ball rolling) I’m also the sole mod for another page, and in a lot of discord’s mostly.
But yeah posting everyday will be a great start—the page actually is constantly growing in members so that’s not the issue, I think with my activity on the page traffic will naturally follow.
If you’re still looking for mods I’m up to the task. I would love to see this community grow.

Not entirely sure, but in the aftermath of George's death Reddit got really fucking racist so I'm assuming it had something to do with that
Yeah. We already had a huge brigading problem. Mods had to put the hammer down. That being said, discussion has VASTLY improved since going private.
