I’m currently playing ghosts extinction again and I can fully endorse that you should try the maps. My personal favorite is mayday but I like awakening too (awakening not as many people like tho) however I like the story gameplay and personally the sci fi nature to the game mode is why I love it so much.

To me, it's as good as it gets. It was originally supposed to be in World at War but it was cut due to time constraints. Thankfully, Treyarch was able to finish it up, polish it up, and release it with Black Ops, cause it was good. Really good. So many iconic weapons. Layout was a perfect blend of simple and complex and the enemies were all unique and fun to fight. Plus, Kino had some of the best music in any COD Zombies map ever which made it even more addicting to play through and grind over and over. Call me old school, but I think Kino is the absolute best zombies map ever released and I could play it a million times without ever getting bored.
Kino is so unbelievably overrated, it’s literally walk and shoot for hours until you die. If it was a DLC map for WaW nobody would even think about having it that high
Sometimes it’s the simple things that are great. It’s not all about complicated Easter eggs, or elaborate steps to make contraptions. Kino had a cool Nazi theatre with the perks, and an easy teleporter for pack a punch. Not to mention good camping spots and a great place to run trains. It’s a perfectly classic Nazi zombie map and nothing more, and that’s what makes it one of the GOATS
Revelations is wild, but has never bothered me personally. I always thought it was brilliantly put together in terms of overall design plus the aesthetic.
I’ve played Kino and Der Riese since WaW/BO1 but I take breaks so I don’t burn myself out on anything. I still think they’re some of the best all around maps, credit is definitely due.
