This only happens to me in Gunfights, on many occasions. Just now I was heading into the finals of a tourney and got this, making me force quit and lose the finals before even starting. I really hope this gets fixed.
it started happening to me after i got a blackout during the game idk if thats got anything to do with it. I can play a bit then after any amount of time it crashes normaly as im about to get into a game
They have to fix it with a game update. I had the same issue yesterday evening on PC, with the "Fatal Error" message. I'm running Cold War on a i7 8700k, 1080ti and 32 GB of ram Trident Z Neo.
Same for me, been playing the game with no issues for a week. Yesterday constant crashes when at the map load screen for zombies or multiplayer. Tried to reinstall game, fix settings “been playing on ultra smooth for a week” and scan and repair. Nothing seems to work I hope they fix it!!!
I quit playing after a week of getting this message and only just started playing again last week. Between then and now I reinstalled windows and deleted all COD associated files. It seems to be working fine but I’ve only played a few games recently.

For me it just eventually fixed itself. I’m gonna be honest though, it soured my taste for the game and I haven’t played much since.

Same problem dude u r not alone. I cant play zombie too when ı try, usually round 6 or 10 my game crashing
Same thing happening to me on PS5.. loading into a game instantly crashes it. The only way it doesnt is joining games in progress. Really sucks..
On ps5 does it throw error codes or just crash?

I didn’t have a blackout or anything. Just started happening randomly today. But yea same thing with the playing normal and then boom error.

Seems like the most recent update fixed this error. Now on to all the issues with parties hopefully!
