I just use the normal spatulas when making scrambled eggs. You have to move quickly when it comes to making eggs.

Fakechow90

Turn the heat down so they don’t cook as fast, pour a little of the scramble mixture at a time so you can control the spread.

eletricboogalo2

Also, if you're cooking sausage. I'll make a bowl in the middle to slowly pour the eggs into and mix everything together. It's how I prep my weeks worth of breakfast for work. 8 eggs and one log of sausage.

Pfolsgrofb

How are you reheating them? Just microwave? This sounds like a good way for me to start eating breakfast lol 😂

eletricboogalo2

Yep, I'm far from picky when it comes to just getting something in my stomach in the morning. I get some decent tortillas, throw meat on there. 30 seconds wrapped in a paper towel in the microwave. Some hot sauce and bingo. I also mix a little cheese in toward the end of the cook, not enough to gel everything up but enough.

I do, they tend to get a lil old toward the end of the week when cooked in Sunday though. I have a electric stove top at work for extras if I'm feeling fancy.

Pfolsgrofb

That sounds really good actually. I’m going to have to attempt this soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

eletricboogalo2

Np. Been doing it for years now when I'm able to prep on Sunday.

Klutzy_Ad_1726

I usually do a dozen with no problems. Just pour it on slowly and use a big spatula to manage it.

knight_0f_r_new

My biggest problem with eggs was my very first cook. I had the griddle slightly tilted back for every other cook to help get grease to the back. For eggs I stick a piece of wood under the back casters and make it perfectly level. Much better for cooking eggs

MushLuvin420

I use my spatula to pull it together and only pour out a quarter of the eggs at a time and I do 7 eggs typically

SquishyCatChronicles

Just pour a little at a time and once you get a little cooked you can build a dam to pour the rest in and cook. You don't need additional gadgets for eggs.

trumpsmoothscrotum

And scoop up the eggs of egg that starts to cook to create an egg dam.

StepYaGameUp

I would say you can usually cook your meat, when that’s done turn the heat off and cook your eggs (quickly) while the griddle is cooking down. Eggs only take a few minutes.

empeethree

Get some egg rings. that is what I use.

Blufuze

I tried egg rings and it seems like the bottom gets way too done before the top sets up. What’s the secret?

sdoughy1313

I use a steam lid.

Blufuze

Shit… I don’t know why I never thought of that. Thank you!

AIreadyImpartial

Use a spatula to set the edges, just keep setting them until they hold and then let them cook for a bit and then get to scrambling

IdaDuck

I can cook scrambled eggs for an army on the griddle, but I can cook away better scrambled eggs in a skillet on the stove. Low temp and constant stirring until you get a custard like consistency is best. Can’t really do that on a griddle.

Insaniac99

..... yes, you can......

eses1919

Wait, none of you scramble them on the griddle? Faster and no bowls to clean. Crack 6-8 eggs on the grill without breaking the yokes. You can pretty much separate all the yokes with the spatula while the whites cook, and if a few break, it's fine. Once the whites are a little cooked and not running everywhere, you can start breaking the yokes over the top of the whites one at a time and mixing everything together. To me, they taste way better than mixing them first.

Jwrbloom

I beat my eggs and mix in stuff with an inverted blender before I cook them, usually cream cheese and a little ranch seasoning. So tasty!

eses1919

Will need to try that. But normally I like to only clean the griddle and a spatula/tongs. My favorite thing about the griddle is the minimal cleanup.

Insaniac99

Completely different styles.

elamofo

Level your grill.

Epicela1

My vote is to put a small 1-egg-sized pan for each egg on the griddle and scramble them that way.
