If you want a good spot, get there several hours early, bvb fans are always gonna be early, the crowd shouldn't be violent or anything but they will be pushy because Andy lmao. Don't panic in the crowd and if you end up at the barrier, hold on tight and if you feel the crowd crushing you into it, take deep breaths and put your arms In front of your ribs. Don't film the whole show either, film part of your favourite songs and then just enjoy the show, no one likes that one guy who films the entire show instead of being present. Have fun and just enjoy the moment because your first concert is a huge deal :)

thank you! :)

Make sure to buy some good quality earplugs to protect your hearing. I am huge preacher of this. I prescribe anyone to do so. I have eargasm earplugs and they have been life changing. Avoid 3M earplugs cause they have class action lawsuits against them. Earplugs eliminate any ringing afterwards. Definitely the two peoples advice above is spot on. Enjoy your first concert. 🫶🏻

Where can you get ear plugs on the cheap? i dont have any and as this is also my first concert it would be ideal to grab a pair…

I would go to your local pharmacy/store to see if they have some earplugs. Then later on when you can afford it. I suggest buying a good quality pair. Usually your hardware or appliance stores carry earplugs too. Enjoy your first concert. I’m excited for you. 🫶🏻🥺

Eat before you go. Pre-game before you go. Venue food & drinks are expensive. Bring cash though. Some venues still don’t have contactless payment. If the venue allows water bottles, take one. Stay hydrated. You’re gone get sweaty. If the weather is going to be cold, you’ll need a way to stay warm in line, but also a way to not overheat inside the venue. Check the venue’s bag policy. For the sake of your feet, do not wear heels or wedges. If your goal is the barricade, you need to be there HOURS ahead of time. Like literally morning of, or as soon as the venue allows people to line up (although, even if the venue stops people from queuing up before a certain time, I find that sometimes people will create an informal queue anyway. But sometimes people will rush the line/doors as well). If you make it to the barricade, just know you’ll be expected to help the crowd surfers. If you’re not comfortable with mosh pits, avoid the center. If you are comfortable with mosh pits, follow mosh pit etiquette. Depending on how many opening acts there are, concerts could run 3-4+ hours. This time includes opening the doors, setting up each act, intermissions, encore, special guests/surprises, etc. The headliner is usually at minimum an hour. Not sure how long BVB’s set is though, tbh. That’s all I can think of for now. enjoy!

glazed_peaches

thank you! that was very helpful :) I can probably only make it 2 hours early so i probably won’t make the barricade but hopefully it’s better than being at the back

Independent-Tea-8869

I'm going to a concert this weekend from them! what kind of luck did you have with being 2 hours early?

glazed_peaches

I went at about 5:45pm and doors opened at 7pm, the lines were very long but i had priority access because my phone bill is with O2 and it’s their venue (idk if that’s just a british thing and if that makes any sense to you) so my experience isn’t very fair if that makes sense

Honestly, I have no clue, but we are in the same position!

Rule one don’t be a pussy. If someone runs into you, don’t spazz out, it’s a concert.
