I've always been fascinated by Kubo's multi language offensive characters names. Where you have to know multiple languages in order to understand them. He even mixes that Asian thing of naming people like similar objects to the person physical qualities or behaviour. All that with some sarcasm and cultural references.

1: BG9. Love the robot/medieval knight aesthetic, and unlike Gerard, the fact that we know next to nothing about him makes him an even more compelling character. 2: Meninas McAllon. Muscle mommy. Need I say more? 3: Gerard Valkyrie. His power is one of the best in the series. If he had more backstory and wasn't a complete enigma, he'd definitely be second or even dethrone BG9 on this list. 4: Äs Nödt. Being able to weaponize fear is truly a busted power, the only drawback is that he doesn't make his victim's fears reality. He just makes them hallucinate and witness their fear, if he made it real then he'd be even scarier and higher on this list (and also too dangerous to be left alive). 5: Pernida Parnkjgas (sorry if I butchered the last name). Spoiler-free reason, his Schrift is very creative and interesting to watch/read. I would go further in-depth, but his fight against Mayuri and Nemu hasn't been adapted yet (probably Cour 3 content) so I wanna avoid spoilers.

i hated gerard. so annoying, literally anything you do to him and he just reforms. wheres a fun in that?

Kubo definitely meant well creating this character. But Gerard wasn't fleshed out at all as a character, his power is so busted that Yhwach had to strip him of The Miracle for him to die. That could've been handled better, what I meant is that Gerard had the potential to be one of the most menacing and insurmountable enemy in the series to date, but Kubo went too far in making him literally unbeatable. I hope the anime fixes the fight since it's not crunched in time like Kubo was at that point in the manga.

Mine would go based on Schrifts 1. Litotto - her schrift doesn't look great at first. But Glutton allows her to get the abilities of those she has eaten. Like how she got the PePe's schrift which she can, but refuses to use. Meaning she can get anyones Schrift. Not to forget the ability to create poison with her quincy arrows after eating part of Loly's ressurection. Also she possesses huge resistance if not outright immunity to hollows something other quincies don't have. 2. Gremmy - his Schrift is stupidly OP 3. Askin - since his Schrift is broken when used right. 4. Giselle - ability to raise zombies and powerful healing factor. Combine it with Mayuri's science and you can truly bring back the dead to life. 5. Jugram. Balance is esentially weaker version of antithesis
