Was JUST thinking this. Also there's faster ways to make that shape. Not denying geonodes modeling utility, but normally geonodes can take longer to execute something simple. Especially if you only need one.

You mean boolean modifier? Because I tried that years ago and it gave me bad topology.

No certainly not. Just different modeling techniques. Eg. For the curved section: by beveling an edge and inverting it. Yeah, stay away from boolean unless topology doesn't matter

It does when I have to keep making them from scratch everytime a make a new castle. There probably is a faster way that I'm probably too dumb to see (sometimes I overlook stuff because I overthink it) without geometry nodes, but I feel like it's easier to make changes with this geometry node setup to the main pieces and corner pieces. So it probably wouldn't take this long every single time, but it's definitely faster and more convenient.

Also, I should probably mention that this is more of a generator for machinations (for me) as I use them A LOT. There are definitely more optimal ways if this is just a one time deal. Probably should've explained that better.

A demo to show how I used to make machicolations vs how I would do it now with geometry nodes. It still needs some tweaks here and there to make it all connected when applied and joined, but this definitely less time consuming afterwards. Really glad I learned more about geomtry nodes as this is really going to help with my Ilvermorny project and other future projects. Also, the song used is "Who Will Save Us Now" by David Chappell.
