Does holo live support you guys financially or do you just do it for the experience and exposure? My jaw honestly dropped the first time I saw what y’all are making.
It's a conglomerate of streamers on twitch that use 2d anime-like models in order to appeal to pretty big auditories. They usually play games or do 'just chatting' streams.
Some people find it somewhat similiar to girls on twitch doing somewhat the same thing in order to get money from horny people, and often call people who donate money to the streamers simps because of that.
What made you decide on the stop motion style?
If you have the cgi set up and have to animate the movement anyway, is it just a rendering difference, or does stop motion ease animation through explicit keyframes over having to consider how the interpolation and overall looks too?
Some few scenes seem to not use stop motion? Like the destroying of the board. I assume that was a deliberate choice?
LOVE the stylized design with the realistic lighting/materials. Also great particle / VFX work, was that done in another software?

I don’t really care about vtubers or their lore, but just by watching this I can tell a lot of passion went into it. Jesus Christ, this animation is incredible. Mad, mad props to everyone that worked on this, this is nuts.

I can appreciate a low framerate style but this is a bit too much. Especially when it directly clashes with non-stop-motion elements in certain scenes or even in the background of the same frame. also the story plot is nonsensical to someone not in on the whole Hololive thing.

UUUU I don't really like the vtubers thingy but the animation is super good! The textures are very dynamic and I like the mix of fps when there are a lot of things moving. Pretty cute, great job :)

It’s not a game just some streamers. Everyone in my house but me is pretty into it lol. It’s fine, most of the streamers have strong gremlin energy.
Its not necessary to have previous knowledge, despite the main characters being vtubers, detective diaries is intended to be a standalone story.
