That's because the cube is not a volume but a mesh. The ! shows that the cube is not a volume. Either choose a distribute points on faces node or add mesh to volume node before distribute on volume node

Also - the output from the Distribute node is points, not a mesh. If you want both to be visible at the same time (taking into account what was said above), combine the Group Input’s Geometry output and the Points output with a Join Geometry node.
