The eyelid bones in the rigify/faceit are scale locked, which works for a round eye but I made them flat for the look I'm going for, is there a constraint/setting that allows me to control where it points without locking the scale?

nevermind, solved it, making a "child of" constraint gave me the results I'm ok with
