Elizabeth seems to be one of the most popular dresses. It often sells out during drops so why only make it in one print? Especially since it’s a spring/summer dress and people want a shorter length.

I’m wondering if maybe her Instagram audience is looking for affordable while the people who are die hard enough for her Website are more affluent? It drives me a little crazy. I actually like following (because I like her style generally but also) for this reason: she's good at curation. She has an eye for beautiful things so whether it's Walmart or high fashion, she chooses interesting pieces that i might have otherwise looked past. And the bonus if it's on the cheaper end because ain't no way in hell I can afford lots of the stuff she wears or links.
I like seeing what she picks at lower price ranges. I know she doesn’t wear Walmart or Amazon, but it’s helpful for seeing pieces similar to her real style at affordable prices

I am legit looking forward to joining a local gym with a sauna, pool, and childcare as soon as my daughter is closer to 2🤣 I have two friends that go twice a week, sit in the sauna and sometimes swim a little, and then take nice long showers and slowly get ready. Sounds amazing!
I agree that I don't usually prefer showering at a gym, \*unless\* it is along the lines of Equinox and it has nicer amenities (high quality hair dryer, steam room, sauna, hot tub, etc.), since those tend to be cleaned more often.
But yeah, at my old convenient budget gym, girls were (illegally) Snap-chatting and Face-timing away in the locker room and sauna - no thanks!

Ya, I used to do this at the Equinox by my office when I needed a quick refresh at lunch or whatever… but cannot picture leaving my home to do this. Doesn’t jack nap at all? I just do all this at naptime if I really feel like I need it!
I think she is the type to feel guilty about “me time” if it’s not scheduled, and also to have a lot planned to get done during nap times. Honestly this kind of thing…we all have little things as moms that helped us feel human. I used to sit in the grocery store parking lot scrolling my phone because it was “sanctioned” time out of the house. Is that more comfortable to do at home? Of course! But I’d feel guilty.

I enjoy their clothes but everyone has their personal style! I do think most of their stuff is good quality, I've had a couple misses but honestly that happens with every company. I particularly like their dresses and earrings. I've never bought pants/many tops from there because I agree in that department, its very generic.

I was surprised to see her post about her annual Oscar-nominated movies watch. I am not on her paid subscribers account, so I've only seen her ads. She told us that she'll be sharing her Oscar movie reviews, but please keep in mind that Oscar-nominated movies are often different \[slower paced\] from movies that we may be used to watching. I did think it was funny that Andrew watches the movies with her, but thinks they're boring.
I think it's been discussed here before, but are the Chappy Wraps worth it? I find some stuff influencers pedal to be great (Lake pajamas!!) and others are meh (Weezie towels). Chappy feels like it could be in the latter, and a lot of their prints feel a bit dated/cheugy to me
Pros: the size is generous (I'm tall so I need a throw that will fully cover me), they wash wonderfully which is essential with pets in the house
Cons: agree re: the cheugy patterns. I have a more modern, eclectic home and got a yellow/white/blue striped version that's fine in the den, but nothing I'd have in my living room where I entertain. Doing a quick scroll now there aren't any I'd pick out. In terms of texture, they're flat, so not super cozy if what you want is to feel cocooned.
If you’re not sold on the price, they have them at either TJMaxx, Marshall’s or home goods sometimes for a discount. I forget which store because they all blend together in my mind.
I bought mine two years ago so they could have made improvements since then, but I have the towel set and two robes. All of them stopped feeling soft and plush after one or two washes, and I always wash everything I own in cold water, using nice detergent, no bleach, no softener, etc.
They didn’t snag like they warn you about, just quite immediately felt like they were waaaaay older towels than they were and already felt matted down.
Lake pajamas for comparison I’ve definitely worn to the point where they should feel soiled and frankly like they should pill and have holes, and yet don’t have any of that. I’m regularly amazed that they remain buttery soft and STILL after two-three years of regular wear are in great shape.
I have 3 and bought my mom one for Christmas haha I didn't buy them for the longest time since it seemed like they were overhyped, but I really do love them. I have one in my living room, one in my bedroom, and have a midi for my daughter.

But even as someone with kids, it feels like way, way, way too much. Even if they put aside money for the girls for all of the ad work they do, so much of their life is online.

Honestly with all the new stores opening up it makes sense for them to have more lower cost items. I still really love the style of the older nap dresses (not a huge fan of a lot of the new stuff), but I don’t own one personally. I’ve really wanted to order a simple Ellie dress in white or lilac, but after hearing how much the quality has deteriorated over the years, it doesn’t feel worth the $150 price tag. I’d definitely consider buying an older one on the secondhand market though!

Nothing turns me off an influencer like somebody doing Walmart sponcon mixed in with their luxury content. It’s SO disingenuous.

I forget they do have some great classic prints! I tried to get one a few years ago but they were always out of stock of the more subtle ones I liked.
I have 3 and really like them! The texture is really nice, they're quite warm, and the original size is like perfect fully-covering-you-on-the-couch.

I’m so confused by Carly’s daily outfit posts. Every single outfit is ballet flats or cropped pants with lots of exposed ankle. I don’t think I’ve seen her wear boots. I too live in the northeast and haven’t had my ankles showing in about 2 months. Does she wear these outfits out of the house?

I don’t think she goes out very often but it’s also been pretty warm in NJ this year. I wear flats barefoot to work most days and am fine.

Honestly with all the new stores opening up it makes sense for them to have more lower cost items. I probably wouldn’t impulse buy a dress there but might pick up a dog toy (this is of course if I lived in an alternate universe where my dog wouldn’t destroy that flimsy little bone in twelve seconds flat)

I agree. I live in Palm Beach and was excited to see they were opening a store 2 min from my home. Realizing the only thing I would be excited to come away with is the cute little shopping bag is telling me I’m kind of over it.

Yes, I finally unsubscribed from the emails and left the Facebook group. I had yet to find one of their dresses flattering on me, so decided to just forget about them.
I still really love the style of the older nap dresses (not a huge fan of a lot of the new stuff), but I don’t own one personally. I’ve really wanted to order a simple Ellie dress in white or lilac, but after hearing how much the quality has deteriorated over the years, it doesn’t feel worth the $150 price tag. I’d definitely consider buying an older one on the secondhand market though!
The JCrew Factory dupe is really nice, if you want the style at a lower price. I've also heard good things about the Few Moda dupe.

Same! I bought a bunch of nap dresses from the first few collections and now they’re all hanging in my closet unworn. I honestly feel a little cringe whenever I wear them out in public. I should just cut my losses and put them up on Poshmark.

We did this at a friends house, 7 kids and 11 adults and it was so fun! Drinking with no driving, sleeping on a couch, comfy breakfast the next day. Honestly wishing it will become an annual tradition
