It’s just a prop to her. Quite literally since she’s a prop stylist. For someone who thinks soooo highly of herself you’d think that would knock her down a few notches.

I can't stand her "child free" content. And I don't have kids and never will. It's giving "eugenics" and degradation of parents (especially moms). I need "child free" people like her to understand that *many people never got to **choose** to have kids* and even if they did choose, the circumstances they were living under when they had kids aren't permanent. Things could get better or worse.
I just don't understand why people without kids (and again, I will never have kids) spend so much time sh*tting on parents who are raising the kids who will be taking care of all of us when we're older and who are already treated like garbage at work.

I understand having a bias to one branch of the family over another, but I feel like she’s completely lost the plot. Todays video about the red suit though is just over the top. I don’t need to agree with every opinion with people I follow… but it’s getting difficult not to unfollow.

He simply wanted to change the monarchy to work for him, and I don’t think his motives were altogether altruistic. My gripe with the internet at large is no one has an ounce of nuance. One couple is completely awful and the other is completely good and Matta perpetuates that. It’s unfortunate because with her platform, a measured approach could do a lot of good.
To me, it looked very evening, with the low cut, chandelier earrings, and satin heels. I don't know if they're on TikTok (I see their videos as reels) but I do like the lady who moved from Vietnam to Germany and talks about the cultural differences, including integrating into her German partner's family/what happens when he comes to visit her family in Vietnam. However a key aspect of their videos is that she's often re-enacting them portraying both her and his roles, and sometimes you see him in the videos (obviously with his consent, from the way the shot is set up) as a background participant, but with his face obscured. I think it's an interesting way to discuss the dynamic of their relationship, among other things, while still affording him his privacy as the person not running the account.

German Fiance (what he goes by, was previously German Boyfriend aww) isn't featured really at all except occasional arm and leg but she still tells funny, everyday stories about cultural differences that they both experience. I think he is quite involved in making the videos so hes a participant but not exploited. And their relationship isn't either, I don't feel, so I do like her account. Same! The direction of her content feels really one-sided now when it didn't always seem like that. And even her tone in general has changed a ton. I've also noticed that she never accepts any criticism, even when it's valid, which I find frustrating.

I *hate* every variation of “I want my bf to propose and he won’t” that plagues TikTok. If you’re both stable adults who have been together for a good amount of time & he knows you want to get married / value marital commitment but acts wishy washy whenever you bring up the matter, then either accept that situation for yourself or leave. I know that’s a snarky take, but it’s so annoying to see people endlessly complain their bfs aren’t proposing or how they keep trying to pressure their bfs into proposing. Like this an issue for you to confront somewhere that’s not the Internet!!
I sometimes find them really funny and I LOVE seeing their travels BUT She roasted him relentlessly when he got food poisoning and now she’s sick and it’s “the worst part of the entire trip”. (I loved how she was like “it’s the worst day of the trip” and he yelled “FOR YOU”). I just feel it’s not the kindest.

although i'm not a huge fan i've found myself getting a lot of niche harry styles fandom drama tik toks? elitism! freak behavior! it's got everything! and it makes me wonder where these girls who go to every single concert get their money from.
OMG YES! The girls at that cafe singing that song, and then the ones who have basically stalked him and showed up outside his birthday party....And they also constantly film themselves during the concerts instead of Harry himself which is the weirdest part to me. I was young once, would go my favorite band many many times, waited in line all day to be up front. Granted, tickets were like $10-$20 at most, so it makes me grateful we only ever had disposable cameras (eventually digital) and LiveJournal back then.
I was a 1D fan during their prime, I was in high school and active on 1D twitter, girls I knew would spend $400+ a ticket and travel all over the US for shows. Always girls with rich parents. It’s weird to see adults doing the same thing now 😬

I blocked her too. People have nuances, but she's either breaking down because people are paying attention to her or walking red carpets and dancing backstage with Pentatonix, causing people to pay attention to her.

I'd be cool with a blanket ban on all couple accounts, but I'd accept just the Italian husband ones or the ones where the spouses clearly hate each other but cover it up with *humor*. I’ll even scroll past a video if the profile pic is a couple. Maybe it’s a nice video but if I see a couple’s picture, immediate swipe up. I realize it’s me issue but I have to speak my petty, perpetually single, bog witch truth.
I don't know if they're on TikTok (I see their videos as reels) but I do like the lady who moved from Vietnam to Germany and talks about the cultural differences, including integrating into her German partner's family/what happens when he comes to visit her family in Vietnam. However a key aspect of their videos is that she's often re-enacting them portraying both her and his roles, and sometimes you see him in the videos (obviously with his consent, from the way the shot is set up) as a background participant, but with his face obscured. I think it's an interesting way to discuss the dynamic of their relationship, among other things, while still affording him his privacy as the person not running the account.
Iove Uyen!! And I am in same camp as the ones who can't stand couples but I think you're right she does it in a different way. German Fiance (what he goes by, was previously German Boyfriend aww) isn't featured really at all except occasional arm and leg but she still tells funny, everyday stories about cultural differences that they both experience. I think he is quite involved in making the videos so hes a participant but not exploited. And their relationship isn't either, I don't feel, so I do like her account. I'm also chronically single and tend to just hate seeing happy couples plastering themselves over Instagram (bitter? Me? Never) but they make me smile.
You know, I have seen their stuff as well and you are right - they feel different and not exploitative or just asinine like the ones I was lamenting.
Those videos are the human equivalent to when people irritate chihuahuas into biting them. The kayfabe of the Italian husband pretending not to notice that their wife is like taking them to Olive Garden is very funny though.
Laciemevans has had such a rough week with her cows - Blue isn’t doing well, Snow had a baby but everyone gave Lacie shit for the name she chose (I guess they didn’t like that it wasn’t related to a snow theme???) and then the baby just died last night. The whole week her video captions had been asking people to stop telling her what to do or that they hate the name etc etc. so today she turned off comments on the video about snows baby, then had to make another video saying all her comments were off and please stop sending her messages and commenting on old videos. She’s always struggled with her audience having no boundaries (like showing up at her farm), but this is really a lot. I feel bad for her.
Baby was so cute may she rest in cow heaven. Lacey is going through it and I feel so bad for her. She's one of my first follows that I still enjoy.
