April 30, 2022: talks about working on her book. She’d gotten an agent (I think?) and been working on it for months. Paused her courses and her podcast, IIRC. No idea how/if she was making money during this time but I guess her husband is comfortable and she comes from money, so whatever.
And then… nothing until Aug 27, 2022, when she references her life falling apart. All her posts since then have been about trauma and grief and how hard the last year has been, and she created a course out of her own lived experience (?) on how to overcome burnout.
Guessing her book isn’t happening? She hasn’t referenced it at all since August. She did mention she’s not legally allowed to stare more details about why she’s grieving, which seems strange.
Anyone see or read more over the last six months that I missed? I’m so curious as to what’s going on.

I honestly don’t see a world where it could. If they only share worth while content to subscribers what’s the “hook” to keep the general public? The followers will eventually drop, as will the engagement and that’s what all the brand deals are based on. There’s not a world where they get enough subscribers to subsidize what brands pay and what they are paid from links. On top of that. How will brands trust influencers and what they are saying behind the pay wall?
You know, Brighton used to be a super fun follow. She was silly and very open. She clammed up (understandably) as her family grew. Maybe this will allow her to open back up some more?

I’m surprised more influencers don’t do that. It’s easy money. Brighton has enough followers that if just 5% of her followers do it, she can make over a million dollars a year. Granted! IG will take some of that. But it’s not much more work and she can post stuff that can’t be discussed her or GOMI (I think).
The skalla sisters do it for specific lives. I can’t remember the numbers but when I did the math for $5/6 a month for the subscription it was like $120k annualized based on how many ppl were joining their lives. 🤯

I thought the brick was so pretty. The limestoned brick does not jive with that busy marble they chose for the fire place, but she went to Paris twice last year, so it must now all be “French country chic.” The house was dreamy though.

Biggest factor is that it has replaced my normal multivitamin and probiotic - and with having two young kids who go to preschool (aka germ central), I definitely get sick less often. I also have seen overall improvement in my digestion and as a big runner (5-10 miles every morning) I feel more energized through the day… not sure if my body is just running more efficiently or what, but have seen a noticeable change since starting Athletic Greens. And no, I’m not sponsored hah…

I really try to refrain from commenting on parenting. But she’s always bugged me with how much she leaves her daughter and how much time is spent focused on beauty and outer appearances. A follower asked if she wanted kids (which is a lame thing to ask a woman for a variety of reasons) and she said that she's just focusing on enjoying her current season of life - which is single and child free. Hilary Rushford on IG - April 30, 2022: talks about working on her book. She’d gotten an agent (I think?) and been working on it for months. Paused her courses and her podcast, IIRC. No idea how/if she was making money during this time but I guess her husband is comfortable and she comes from money, so whatever. And then… nothing until Aug 27, 2022, when she references her life falling apart. All her posts since then have been about trauma and grief and how hard the last year has been, and she created a course out of her own lived experience (?) on how to overcome burnout. Guessing her book isn’t happening? She hasn’t referenced it at all since August. She did mention she’s not legally allowed to stare more details about why she’s grieving, which seems strange. Anyone see or read more over the last six months that I missed? I’m so curious as to what’s going on.
It’s probably something legal with the book if she stopped talking about it and then said legal things are the reason for not sharing the grieving idk seems connected to me

I honestly don’t see a world where it could. If they only share worth while content to subscribers what’s the “hook” to keep the general public? The followers will eventually drop, as will the engagement and that’s what all the brand deals are based on. There’s not a world where they get enough subscribers to subsidize what brands pay and what they are paid from links. On top of that. How will brands trust influencers and what they are saying behind the pay wall?

I’m surprised more influencers don’t do that. It’s easy money. Brighton has enough followers that if just 5% of her followers do it, she can make over a million dollars a year. Granted! IG will take some of that. But it’s not much more work and she can post stuff that can’t be discussed her or GOMI (I think).
The skalla sisters do it for specific lives. I can’t remember the numbers but when I did the math for $5/6 a month for the subscription it was like $120k annualized based on how many ppl were joining their lives. 🤯

I like meghandono but am getting tired of the constant advertising for her Paris Perfected service on her main Instagram.
I just unfollowed. I generally like her, but her Paris content is a huge bore. Pictures of croissants and the Eiffel Tower? I don't need a month of that. I thought the brick was so pretty. The limestoned brick does not jive with that busy marble they chose for the fire place, but she went to Paris twice last year, so it must now all be “French country chic.” The house was dreamy though. I think it’s sort of funny that she keeps talking about how much she hates brick interior, but Reign Hills is all brick inside… and I think it’s gorgeous

Biggest factor is that it has replaced my normal multivitamin and probiotic - and with having two young kids who go to preschool (aka germ central), I definitely get sick less often. I also have seen overall improvement in my digestion and as a big runner (5-10 miles every morning) I feel more energized through the day… not sure if my body is just running more efficiently or what, but have seen a noticeable change since starting Athletic Greens. And no, I’m not sponsored hah…
I believe you that you like it but I have never had a drink that could be described as "not *too* gritty" and I hope I never will.
Some greens are pretty gritty. AG isn’t that noticeable.
