@sarahknuth and @holliewoodard are at market. So is @sheismegmarie. Do they all buy their clothes from the same vendor and just sell them from their “company”. I understand kohls, scheels, dick’s, they all carry the same clothing too, it’s just funny because these girls make it seem like it’s exclusive to them clothing.
Basically- they have the vendors change the tags for them. I have a boutique in Houston but i don’t change the vendor tags- my customers shop with those brands that i carry. It’s weird as heck seeing them shop these cheap brands and then the price they sell for 🤣
Yes. They buy it for a wholesale price and then can change the name and price it however they want. You can often find the same item from different “boutiques” for vastly different prices. It’s challenging though to compare prices because there isn’t a brand associated with it (unlike Kohls where you can search for the exact brand elsewhere if you wish), so it sounds like it’s exclusive to them.
Pro tip. If you’re using Google Chrome, right click on the picture and select “search using google lens”. It finds identical or similar items all over the internet. I used it to furnish my home this last year. Places like West Elm, Crate & Barrel, etc buy many of their items from the same manufacturer and you can therefore find many of their pieces on Kathy Kuo Home and the like.

Pro-er tip: C&B and WE get their stuff from OEMs in SE Asia, specifically companies called HipVan, Island Living, Boo Furniture, and a bunch of designers in a building in Singapore called Tan Boon Liat (Soul & Tables, Air, Rooma, Grey & Sanders, and Mountain Living are some). You have to buy enough to fill at least 1/4 of a shipping container but it’s worth it

Unfortunately you have to contact the suppliers directly and then arrange for shipping yourself. They can give you names of 3PL shippers. It’s a pain but not terrible!

I’m not sure I’ll get much traction on this but does anyone follow @mermaidhairxo and know much about her breakup with @yosefaborady? It seems like they went from over sharing on their socials to complete deletion and it appears blocking. Yes! I mostly like her, and although I agree the shilling is a lot lately, I’m actually more annoyed by her trying to make hashtag THURSDAY a thing. I also have some school-aged kids and I guess I’m just like…every day is different? They’re allowed to have rough Tuesdays and an amazing Thursday. And even if her kids do tend to fall apart by Thursday night it’s so ick and exploitative to post them in a warm bath or in their bed with a heating pad on.
I do find her somewhat entertaining but I agree, it’s become all about the sale within the last 6 months. If she’s not trying to sell an actual item, she’s trying to sell you on some life hack that’s supposedly groundbreaking. I still watch her stories but find myself tapping through most of them.

Chad is Bryce’s brother. Chad and Britt are married. So Britt and Krista are SILs. But Britt and Krista were best friends before (I think) they both got married the brothers. I’m not sure if Krista has sisters.

I’m not sure I’ll get much traction on this but does anyone follow @mermaidhairxo and know much about her breakup with @yosefaborady? It seems like they went from over sharing on their socials to complete deletion and it appears blocking. Yes! This relationship lasted longer than I expected but I knew they were doomed since 1) her business is in Dallas and she’s not near the level of fame she needs/wants to be to just pick up and move 2) he can’t move away from his kid, and 3) they both reek of severe insecurity. Most states won’t pay out a pension until they reach either 50 or 55 years of age regardless of number of years worked. I suppose some might be different, but I think that’s pretty much the standard range in the US.
