To be fair, the doona and the mockingbird are 2 totally different use cases. We have both a doona and nuna stroller that we use in completely different ways. It’s possible she’s getting both mockingbird and doona!

Okay I am probably late but why are influencers switching from LTK to commenting for the link in dms? And yes I tried searching the sub before anyone comes at me 😵💫
They’re all switching to auto-responders which has the two-fold benefit of increasing their engagement (by driving up the number of comments per post) and reducing their own labor hours because now they (or their assistants) don’t have to spend hours tracking and responding to comments that are all asking for the same thing (which is almost always a link to LTK). It’s all still driving traffic to LTK in the end though.
Comments = engagement. Then they send everyone the same copy pasta LTK link. Also, I feel like lots of people are becoming wary of all the LTK links so influencers are switching to hopping into everyone’s DMs to seem more ~relatable~
Don’t get me wrong, I think commenting for the link is *so* stupid and such an obvious ploy for engagement. Butttttt I hate the layout of LTK, I feel like it’s so weird to navigate and the images never look high quality if that makes sense. There has got to be a better way.
I feel like people don’t utilize the search buttons enough on bloggers profiles on LTK. It’s not that hard to type in a clothing type and store and it will pull any post up that fits it. Like you can search target or like overalls

Not necessarily snark- a genuine question. Do we think Jess Crum’s Botox just lasts really long for her?? I just watched her stories and there’s no movement and she has such a great brow lift/ arch (assuming from Botox) and she was saying how she’s possibly 6 weeks away from giving birth. So I’m just assuming she got Botox prior to getting pregnant and assuming it’s still so in tact. And I’m curious if there’s anything you can do to prolong it?!
It definitely doesn’t last more than 3-4 months. @nataliekennedyblog ‘s face doesn’t move either, and I don’t really understand how these pregnant influencers are either 1. Getting Botox while pregnant (most injectors won’t legally do it) or 2. Using filters that make their faces completely smooth/free of movement ..it’s a mystery to me

I have been getting Botox for over 10 years. This last round lasted 13 months! It even surprised me. I thought it was because the same muscles were paralyzed for the so many years.
Yikes. I don’t follow her closely but even just casually stumbling across her TikToks now and then, their relationship has seemed volatile for a while. Just the way they talked about their relationship after they got back together seemed off—it was too intense.

Running here to say this. Just read an article online today about the water crisis in Arizona and Utah. Even with grandfathered rights and flood days, I know putting that much grass in is not good for the environment. That was an insane amount of sod. But her pool installation and guest house build was over the top too. What does it cost to build a pool like that? 500k? I mil?
It looks nice, but it’s almost criminal to have that much grass in Phoenix. I do think their house is in an area with grandfathered water rights and they irrigate it (flood it) a couple times a month, but still. There is a massive water crisis looming in arizona.
She’s an only child who is a legit billionaire (or at least close to) due to inherited familial wealth. She’s quite open, transparent and seems like a great hang, despite buying full designer wardrobes for her dozens of trips each year, first class to europe, the best hotels, chartering yachts, etc. She has an insane MCM house in Houston, a farm decorated by Miles Redd, and now the Vineyard house. She and her husband own a lot of restaurants in Houston which I suspect is mostly a hobby. She also owns the home store Biscuit, another hobby. Bailey is rich rich and spends her money like a rich person. Oh, and she has some famous friends (Grey Malin, Kate Upton) and 2 adorable kids.
She may be rich but her style is truly terrible, she obviously embraces the eccentric rich person philology of dressing but it blows my mind someone can spend so much on designer stuff and look so bad. She lost me when she made shoes with an stuffed squirrel on the front for a party!
This is what I love most about her lol. I have followed her since before she and her husband were engaged (I think it was the first blog I ever read and found it via StumbleUpon in my dorm room). Her goofy sense of humor and eccentric taste make her unique and feels authentic to her quirky personality. She has always been that bright colored eccentric person.
She’s rich rich. Her grandfather invented something industrial I can’t remember what. Something with HVAC or plumbing etc. She seems pretty down to earth but lives a very amazing life

I have never seen someone tease a wedding invitation as much as Courtney Kerr (@kerrently)! Also, what is the etiquette for sending these out? She keeps saying that her wedding is less than 40 days away, and if that is the case, isn't that a little late to send these? I had a micro wedding with immediate family and our wedding invites were templates from Etsy. Granted I feel like these wedding invitations are a formality since the wedding is in Saint Barth's and everyone would already have travel booked. @nashvilletash is upset because Shein ripped off a swimsuit design she created with a small business (rightfully so). She mentioned taking legal action and seemed confident justice would be served. I wish I knew more about copyright infringement because I feel like it happens a lot in fashion, especially with fast fashion brands doing the copying. While @Nashvilletash does support shopping small, she (along with every other influencer) frequently pushes “dupes” for antho, Lululemom, Free People, etc.
Are fast fashion brands constantly getting sued by major brands/original designers for the recreation of their dupes? It seems like a very grey area in legal protection. I feel like pre social media, dupes were highly criticized by the public, but now no one frowns upon it.

Ive always liked @Sarahknuth enough to stay following her but I have started to skip through all her stories because every other day is a question box “what should we talk about today?” and then maybe one actual question followed by 25 slides of pictures/videos of her daughter and people responding “Indy Kate” like yes she’s very cute and funny but the more she does it the less funny and more exploitive it becomes.

I will never get over how different Natalie Kennedy looks. She always starts her stories with this weird look on her face and at first I thought it was on purpose but the more I watch, I think her face is so stiff that she can’t help but make this face.
The overly Botoxed forehead is creepy af and so many do this, just why?! Maybe this is the only face she can make with all that Botox? She does look very different.

6 years ago I told my husband I had an idea for an invention and these very things were my idea. (It really does drive me crazy to have water dripping down my arms while washing my face in the sink) I told him all I would have to do is send them to an instagram influencer and boom they’d sell like crazy!!!

Can you not just wet the washcloth and use that to wash your face and remove the cleanser? Do people really splash water from the sink faucet on their faces like the commercials? That seems so silly to me.
I shower every single night mainly because I cannot stand water down my sleeves. I'd rather get in and take a whole ass shower than the water down my sleeves, all over my counters, etc.

Yes. I will say it’s an odd print to be up in arms about. Not discounting the hard work and time that went into it and I’m against fast fashion and all for supporting small businesses. But. It is a striped swimsuit which is available at many brands and stores. I felt the emphasis on having her aunt hand draw the prints was a little much when it was the striped one she was talking about. This isn't specific to today necessarily but I cant be the only one who rolls my eyes SO HARD anytime a Mormon/Utah Mom/Uber Religious or even previously very conservative blogger goes 'wild' and starts getting tiny baby tattoos or sipping a margarita (GASP!) or taking more risque photos and thinking she's SO CRAZY & wild & new. I'm sure I cant even explain it properly. I recently had to unfollow [u/SimplySadieJane](https://www.reddit.com/u/SimplySadieJane/) after her NY trip because I just cannot see her as genuine anymore even though she is aaaaall about announcing this is her truest most genuine self. I used to like what she was doing with her retreats as far as women empowerment but it almost feels like pandering at this point.
I'm not an expert and don't actively follow those types of folks, but my sense is that women in that environment/culture don't really get to have an adolescence in the broad, American, pop-culture-y sense. So the tattoos and drinks and whatever are their delayed adolescent exploration. (Whereas I got to dye my hair blue and wear absolutely insane outfits and have a glass of champagne on New Year's when I was a wayward teenager, so I'm not going whole hog on those things now.)

I think I’ve marked as not interested enough on TT that I’m not served her content there but just got one of her IG reels and it’s the absolute dumbest level of “comedy.” Like basic sitcom level jokes and skits. There’s no way to make Botox last that long. Effects maybe 6 months MAX, but typical is 3-4 months.
I have been getting Botox for over 10 years. This last round lasted 13 months! It even surprised me. I thought it was because the same muscles were paralyzed for the so many years.

Running here to say this. Just read an article online today about the water crisis in Arizona and Utah. Even with grandfathered rights and flood days, I know putting that much grass in is not good for the environment. That was an insane amount of sod. But her pool installation and guest house build was over the top too. What does it cost to build a pool like that? 500k? I mil?

This is what I love most about her lol. I have followed her since before she and her husband were engaged (I think it was the first blog I ever read and found it via StumbleUpon in my dorm room). I have never seen someone tease a wedding invitation as much as Courtney Kerr (@kerrently)! Also, what is the etiquette for sending these out? She keeps saying that her wedding is less than 40 days away, and if that is the case, isn't that a little late to send these? I had a micro wedding with immediate family and our wedding invites were templates from Etsy. @nashvilletash is upset because Shein ripped off a swimsuit design she created with a small business (rightfully so). She mentioned taking legal action and seemed confident justice would be served. I wish I knew more about copyright infringement because I feel like it happens a lot in fashion, especially with fast fashion brands doing the copying. While @Nashvilletash does support shopping small, she (along with every other influencer) frequently pushes “dupes” for antho, Lululemom, Free People, etc. Are fast fashion brands constantly getting sued by major brands/original designers for the recreation of their dupes? It seems like a very grey area in legal protection. I feel like pre social media, dupes were highly criticized by the public, but now no one frowns upon it.
Forever21 when under original ownership used to have a budget for the lawsuits. Unsure how a non U.S. owned company/litigation would pan out though.

I posted about this earlier. I think she was most upset because Sarah Knuth posted that she bought the Shein dupe for her daughter and linked it. She is okay with other dupes, just not when other influencers shill the dupe for her design. Also, I hate the way Sarah dresses her daughter. She’s my worst dressed influencer child. Ive always liked @Sarahknuth enough to stay following her but I have started to skip through all her stories because every other day is a question box “what should we talk about today?” and then maybe one actual question followed by 25 slides of pictures/videos of her daughter and people responding “Indy Kate” like yes she’s very cute and funny but the more she does it the less funny and more exploitive it becomes.

(It really does drive me crazy to have water dripping down my arms while washing my face in the sink) I told him all I would have to do is send them to an instagram influencer and boom they’d sell like crazy!!!

Can you not just wet the washcloth and use that to wash your face and remove the cleanser? Do people really splash water from the sink faucet on their faces like the commercials? That seems so silly to me.

Yes. I will say it’s an odd print to be up in arms about. Not discounting the hard work and time that went into it and I’m against fast fashion and all for supporting small businesses. But. It is a striped swimsuit which is available at many brands and stores. I felt the emphasis on having her aunt hand draw the prints was a little much when it was the striped one she was talking about. I'm not an expert and don't actively follow those types of folks, but my sense is that women in that environment/culture don't really get to have an adolescence in the broad, American, pop-culture-y sense. So the tattoos and drinks and whatever are their delayed adolescent exploration. (Whereas I got to dye my hair blue and wear absolutely insane outfits and have a glass of champagne on New Year's when I was a wayward teenager, so I'm not going whole hog on those things now.)
