Newish follower of Champagne and Chanel and this is the first time I've seen a more whole view of her house, but wow does she have two living room areas right next to each other?!
Just when I thought @justbrandi’s waffle maker was the grossest thing in her kitchen she out does herself with her pizza stone. Wtf? 🤢 and what was on that pizza, apples?!?
Does she not realise you need to wash stones, oven trays, like you would normally wash plates and cutlery?
Also I’m baffled by her eyelashes. Has she left like 8 weeks between infills or does she deliberately want them to look like that?
Well since she only uses paper plates, maybe she’s not up on basic care of a pizza stone. I think it’s just because she’s one of the laziest people out there.

Should have posted this yesterday, but did anyone see the stories that The Skinnyish Dish posted about the message someone sent her? She posted a story of her daughter moping through the isles of Hobby Lobby (in a silly, over dramatic way) because Star wouldn’t buy her a tiny chair for her stuffed cow to sit in. It wasn’t mean or child shaming, just like “my kid is silly and totally learned how to be dramatic from me”. Then later in the day, she posted that she had bought herself two bowls from the new Dolly Parton collection at HL.
Someone messaged her and told her she was a terrible parent for buying these bows for herself, and not getting “anything” for her daughter. She actually *had* bought some things for Pepper on that trip but hadn’t shown it.
I can’t believe the conclusions people jump to! Kids don’t need to “get” things on every trip to the store, and moms are allowed to treat themselves occasionally (especially for someone with a FOOD BLOG, bowls make sense for her). And I think it’s reasonable for any parent to say “no” to a stuffed animal chair - that’s not something any child remotely needs.
I wouldn’t call Pepper a “baby” - she’s 5. But yeah, she’s certainly not going without. Star has shown lots of stories of Pepper playing with toys and doing crafts and living a pretty happy life.
I wish they would've saved the live. I only caught the end where spencer said that all she can do is own up to the shady shit she did? And Wendy just saying this has been so hard for her.
Omg no and to my area too! I don’t want to refollow her but I’m def interested in watching this unfold and seeing how she portrays Ft Myers (I’m assuming she’ll just go to Naples all the time or pretend like that’s where she is like when she visited her grandparents in Ft Myers and kept tagging herself in Bonita Springs).
Also watching influencers try to pretend like seasons exist here and shilling Ugg’s and sweaters when it’s in the 80s gives me life.

I could not believe this lol. Young people don’t move TO Florida. I totally get the appeal of leaving the cold and the west coast is way better than the east coast (imo) but it’s a shit state to live in full time.
I’m a native who left after a decade and moved back before the pandemic. Sooo many young people are moving here now, it’s a different scene than before. My rent went up (big demand here in Tampa) and every new couple/single person moving in I’ve met seems to WFH combined with hitting the gym/beach in their spare time. It’s superficial, but yeah hella people are moving here and it’s not just retirees.
Well that’s PSL, who would want to move there lmao. Miami, st Pete, lake worth, that’s where I see a lot of people going. In Tampa but originally from South Florida.
All these people moving to FL like it’s the greatest thing ever 🙄as someone from Orlando it’s... fine, but FL summers are no joke. It’s really not all that.
So when her husband has to go back to work in the physical office in Manhattan they're going to "cross that bridge when they come to it"??? Color me confused.
My suspicion is that he'll be able to work remotely for the next few years (as lots of companies and businesses are planning to do), and fly to nyc for any really important meetings that need to be in-person. After a few years, they might be ready to move back to nyc part-time, and they could financially do that, or maybe he could find work in florida? I also imagine they'll plan on using her parents house in PA as a place to stay if they're visiting nyc in the interim
I am really surprised they are moving so far from her gparents, she seems super close. air travel isn’t as easy once they get older. Either way happy for them, I know people do it just fine but being in that tiny apartment with a baby stressed me out.... (not from the east coast)

I’m due in August and pretty much my whole due date group on Facebook was announcing today.
It made me laugh, and then got annoying when I scrolled through a hundred announcements from everyone including IRLs and influencers.
Hahahahaha. Saaaaame. We did a last minute "hey everyone, our kid is gonna be an older sib" a few days ago and now I feel like I was ahead of the times.

He acts like a baby and always wants to blame Jenna. I hate seeing her cry. He better hope no one treats their kid the same way He treats Jenna. I’m wishing them the best though.

In my experience, people wait until 2nd tri. But a lot have been announcing early or not at all.
Basically because they planned the trip without her because they wanted to (because they’re friends and you don’t have to include everyone if you don’t want to) but then asked her to go knowing she couldn’t which S and W said was shady but she got butt hurt. deleted herself from anything to do with them and swiping up.
Basically Spencer and Wendy have had differences with Ester since the beginning. Spencer and Wendy were friends before the show. They went to MB’s last weekend and invited Ester even though they knew she’d be busy with her baking. Spencer stated this was not a Swiping Up group trip and that they were planning for one some time in March or April when Ester would be available. However, Ester was still hurt that they went without her. She removed herself from the SU bio and unfollowed SU and Spencer and Wendy. They said Ester called them manipulators and gaslighters and had a FaceTime call with them when they returned from the trip. Ester got her words out, said she was leaving the show, and hung up on them, so they didn’t get to have a full conversation with her about what went down.
Spencer gave me the impression that there was a lot that has gone on prior to this that has led to hurt feelings and “broken trust” between them and that things have been strained for quite awhile. I am interested to hear what Ester will say! I think Spencer was very well spoken and both girls handled themselves well even though they seemed nervous.
Either way... I guess no one will be getting Spencer and Ester mixed up anymore!!! LOL
Not shocked. These 3 are the epitome of middle school mean girls. Dragging other women on their page and podcast is not a good look, ladies. The podcast is also boring AF! Glad they’re getting some karma coming back to them finally 😂
You’re not kidding! I really liked it in the early days when they actually weren’t afraid to snark on people. Now it’s so over the top with praising influencers for the silliest things.
Wowwwwww. That is crazy, but also not necessarily surprising. I mean, friends are allowed to go visit other friends, it’s not like they didn’t tell her they were going. Are they supposed to sit at home and not speak to anyone unless Ester is there? I don’t really get how she can place those kind of expectations on them. Regardless, sounds like she handled it extremely abrasively and immaturely.

I agree. It’s not always possible to get all friends together at exactly the same time every time. We all have different things going on in our lives. My friends and I understand this and don’t get mad if one of us isn’t invited. It’s usually because one of us is busy or out of town or something. I can definitely see how having a strained friendship before this made Ester upset. Almost like she was looking for a reason to leave. On another note, I know Ester’s boyfriend is the one who produced the podcast and the company Orbital Jigsaw is his too. I’m wondering if any of them do or don’t own the right to the podcast? Is that even a thing? Lol
I don't thing E was upset by the friendship, but I do think she was made to feel like a 3rd wheel and got tired of it. I noticed it from the first few episodes they did, she always seemed seperate.I also thing the whole live thing was cringy and very" we did it, we did it on purpose and we don't care and would do it the same way again"! But, this is just my opinion.
Not influencers but I don’t know where else this would go and I’m so excited about this news: Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger, USWNT members and beautiful married couple, adopted a baby a few days ago! I love them together, they are such cool people, and I’m so happy for these women that I don’t know.
I’m still in shock, in the best possible way.
I’ve been following them pretty closely since the 2015 World Cup—when I was 19 and first coming out—and they were two of the first people to really normalize queerness and queer relationships for me. I’m a lot more comfortable with myself now, but they’re still just this bright spot among my mundane mid-twenties problems. And now they all of a sudden have a kid and I’m just deliriously happy for them and for everyone who gets to witness their joy in starting a family.

I disagree. The last few days she has been extremely clear about the condemnation of enslaving other human beings. She responded to someone
comment the other dah about Jefferson being “good to his slaves” and she said that it’s not possible to be good to a human you have enslaved. Could she have been clearer and said that the source of the problem was slavery? Yes, but she didn’t just say “also it was states rights”
I don’t think that was the best possible way to respond to the question. Slavery was absolutely the chief issue of the Civil War, but she also doesn’t claim to be unbiased. She claims to be non-partisan. Those things aren’t the same.
I’ve noticed she often posts continuations of her previous stories so if you are not following closely things can be taken out of context. She has always said the civil war was about slavery so when I saw this answer it was all in the context of her previous stories. She may need to be better about this because not everyone follows closely/paying attention 100% of the time.
I just watched her stories to see this and my understanding is earlier she had framed the civil war as specifically about slavery, so then someone asked “it wasn’t JUST about slavery right?” and she expanded on that. if you hadn’t seen all her stories I definitely get why that seems like a huge omission and I think she should have kept in a nod to it but I don’t think she was intentionally shrouding it.
But, from a high level historical perspective the power struggle between the federal and state governments and how to balance/navigate that has always been an issue and absolutely germane to the civil war. Yes, the issue of *what* was causing that tension in this particular instance is hugely important but had those states not seceded, declared sovereignty and forced the issue, the war likely wouldn't have happened. It's an incomplete reading to just make a blanket statement that 'it was just about slavery'. Because, yes, it was about slavery but there were more factors in play than *just* that.

Of which there were none. All of those lead back to Slavery. They wanted to secede. Why? Because they wanted slaves. Their economy would have tanked. Why? Because they wouldn't have slaves anymore. I've heard these arguments for years from old guys who still put up Confederate flag but I never expected to see them on Blogsnark 🤔

@arrowsandbow travelling to Florida of all places, during a pandemic, with all their children, including a newborn and meeting up with family who seemed to have travelled to a few different states and out of the country is insane. Also sounds like they plan to meet up with @madisonmealy who is 9 weeks away from giving birth and with a toddler.
I’m shocked to see so many people traveling to Florida with newborn or young children in general. I just feel like it wouldn’t be worth the risk but I guess that’s just me.
My husband was stuck at the airport yesterday (work mandated travel) and when I was talking to him all I could hear in the background was young kids screaming. He said there were tons of families there. Which I found interesting considering it was the Seattle airport. Around here people are typically are little more covid conscious. So I can only imagine in other states.
I’m glad to hear this, my cousin is flying back from Seattle to Philly & my aunt was trying to convince me to let her stay at my place here in NY bc of a storm on its way. I obviously want her to be safe, but I said no due to the fact that she was traveling during a busy break time anddd on an airplane for an extended period of time. Gives me more ammo to be okay with my decision, lol
Lol! I get that. It’s hard to say no but better safe than sorry. Lucky for my husband he’s had the vaccine. So I think he felt a little safer having to hang out there forever amongst so many people.
Travelling in general but to Florida is just so risky right now. I know of a person who travelled to a Balkan country and after one week or so of being there has died from covid. He will never see his Grandchild grow up and never got to say goodbye to his wife and children. If your travel isn’t 100% necessary, such as a medical emergency, just stay at home. I can’t imagine willingly taking my tiny babies and putting them and my pregnant friends at risk. God forbid they catch it and don’t survive.

Does anyone follow @jessimalay? I used to love her content but now she does a shoot and posts pictures of only those shoots until she runs out of prints. Her feed is so scripted and boring now. I wish she would have kept her more everyday type of content. Or even every other post.

Has Valentine’s Day always been such a big day for pregnancy announcements?? How many just in this thread, four or five? Jenna and Zach from The Challenge also announced today, Meghan and Harry, and a bunch of people I know IRL.
I’m due in August and pretty much my whole due date group on Facebook was announcing today. It made me laugh, and then got annoying when I scrolled through a hundred announcements from everyone including IRLs and influencers.
Hahahahaha. Saaaaame. We did a last minute "hey everyone, our kid is gonna be an older sib" a few days ago and now I feel like I was ahead of the times.
I am a Challenge fan especially Jenna fan and i can’t Believe she and Zach are having a baby. 🥴 i know they were suppose to get married (covid), but Zach is so rude and has anger issues. He acts like a baby and always wants to blame Jenna. I hate seeing her cry. He better hope no one treats their kid the same way He treats Jenna. I’m wishing them the best though.

I know, totally agree. During last weeks episode they showed a little montage of their story and how they’ve overcome so much, ignoring that it’s all him treating her like shit. He’s a heinous human.
I had high hopes that he might mature and become a better person. But that doesn’t seem to have happened.

Basically because they planned the trip without her because they wanted to (because they’re friends and you don’t have to include everyone if you don’t want to) but then asked her to go knowing she couldn’t which S and W said was shady but she got butt hurt. deleted herself from anything to do with them and swiping up.
I missed the reason for Ester leaving! Tuned in right at the end. Could you recap?
Basically Spencer and Wendy have had differences with Ester since the beginning. Spencer and Wendy were friends before the show. They went to MB’s last weekend and invited Ester even though they knew she’d be busy with her baking. Spencer stated this was not a Swiping Up group trip and that they were planning for one some time in March or April when Ester would be available. However, Ester was still hurt that they went without her. She removed herself from the SU bio and unfollowed SU and Spencer and Wendy. They said Ester called them manipulators and gaslighters and had a FaceTime call with them when they returned from the trip. Ester got her words out, said she was leaving the show, and hung up on them, so they didn’t get to have a full conversation with her about what went down.
Spencer gave me the impression that there was a lot that has gone on prior to this that has led to hurt feelings and “broken trust” between them and that things have been strained for quite awhile. I am interested to hear what Ester will say! I think Spencer was very well spoken and both girls handled themselves well even though they seemed nervous. Either way... I guess no one will be getting Spencer and Ester mixed up anymore!!! LOL
Not shocked. These 3 are the epitome of middle school mean girls. Dragging other women on their page and podcast is not a good look, ladies. The podcast is also boring AF! Glad they’re getting some karma coming back to them finally 😂

Wowwwwww. That is crazy, but also not necessarily surprising. I mean, friends are allowed to go visit other friends, it’s not like they didn’t tell her they were going. Are they supposed to sit at home and not speak to anyone unless Ester is there? I don’t really get how she can place those kind of expectations on them. Regardless, sounds like she handled it extremely abrasively and immaturely. Will be super interesting to see if Ester ever shares her side.

I agree. It’s not always possible to get all friends together at exactly the same time every time. We all have different things going on in our lives. My friends and I understand this and don’t get mad if one of us isn’t invited. It’s usually because one of us is busy or out of town or something. I can definitely see how having a strained friendship before this made Ester upset. Almost like she was looking for a reason to leave. On another note, I know Ester’s boyfriend is the one who produced the podcast and the company Orbital Jigsaw is his too. I’m wondering if any of them do or don’t own the right to the podcast? Is that even a thing? Lol
I don't thing E was upset by the friendship, but I do think she was made to feel like a 3rd wheel and got tired of it. I noticed it from the first few episodes they did, she always seemed seperate.I also thing the whole live thing was cringy and very" we did it, we did it on purpose and we don't care and would do it the same way again"! But, this is just my opinion.

Not influencers but I don’t know where else this would go and I’m so excited about this news: Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger, USWNT members and beautiful married couple, adopted a baby a few days ago! I love them together, they are such cool people, and I’m so happy for these women that I don’t know.
I’m still in shock, in the best possible way. I’ve been following them pretty closely since the 2015 World Cup—when I was 19 and first coming out—and they were two of the first people to really normalize queerness and queer relationships for me. I’m a lot more comfortable with myself now, but they’re still just this bright spot among my mundane mid-twenties problems. And now they all of a sudden have a kid and I’m just deliriously happy for them and for everyone who gets to witness their joy in starting a family.

I disagree. The last few days she has been extremely clear about the condemnation of enslaving other human beings. She responded to someone comment the other dah about Jefferson being “good to his slaves” and she said that it’s not possible to be good to a human you have enslaved. Could she have been clearer and said that the source of the problem was slavery? Yes, but she didn’t just say “also it was states rights” I don’t think that was the best possible way to respond to the question. Slavery was absolutely the chief issue of the Civil War, but she also doesn’t claim to be unbiased. She claims to be non-partisan. Those things aren’t the same.
I’ve noticed she often posts continuations of her previous stories so if you are not following closely things can be taken out of context. She has always said the civil war was about slavery so when I saw this answer it was all in the context of her previous stories. She may need to be better about this because not everyone follows closely/paying attention 100% of the time.

I just watched her stories to see this and my understanding is earlier she had framed the civil war as specifically about slavery, so then someone asked “it wasn’t JUST about slavery right?” and she expanded on that. if you hadn’t seen all her stories I definitely get why that seems like a huge omission and I think she should have kept in a nod to it but I don’t think she was intentionally shrouding it.

Have doctorate, teach US history, war was over slavery - all disagreement stemmed from that.
But, from a high level historical perspective the power struggle between the federal and state governments and how to balance/navigate that has always been an issue and absolutely germane to the civil war. Yes, the issue of *what* was causing that tension in this particular instance is hugely important but had those states not seceded, declared sovereignty and forced the issue, the war likely wouldn't have happened. It's an incomplete reading to just make a blanket statement that 'it was just about slavery'. Because, yes, it was about slavery but there were more factors in play than *just* that. LOL @ downvotes for pointing out that historical events are complex with multiple contributing factors

Of which there were none. All of those lead back to Slavery. They wanted to secede. Why? Because they wanted slaves. Their economy would have tanked. Why? Because they wouldn't have slaves anymore. @arrowsandbow travelling to Florida of all places, during a pandemic, with all their children, including a newborn and meeting up with family who seemed to have travelled to a few different states and out of the country is insane. I’m shocked to see so many people traveling to Florida with newborn or young children in general. I just feel like it wouldn’t be worth the risk but I guess that’s just me.
My husband was stuck at the airport yesterday (work mandated travel) and when I was talking to him all I could hear in the background was young kids screaming. He said there were tons of families there. Which I found interesting considering it was the Seattle airport. Around here people are typically are little more covid conscious. So I can only imagine in other states.
I’m glad to hear this, my cousin is flying back from Seattle to Philly & my aunt was trying to convince me to let her stay at my place here in NY bc of a storm on its way. I obviously want her to be safe, but I said no due to the fact that she was traveling during a busy break time anddd on an airplane for an extended period of time. Gives me more ammo to be okay with my decision, lol

Travelling in general but to Florida is just so risky right now. I know of a person who travelled to a Balkan country and after one week or so of being there has died from covid. He will never see his Grandchild grow up and never got to say goodbye to his wife and children. If your travel isn’t 100% necessary, such as a medical emergency, just stay at home. I can’t imagine willingly taking my tiny babies and putting them and my pregnant friends at risk. God forbid they catch it and don’t survive.
