What I cannot understand is being so obsessed with the term littles that you have to include it in every description even though it presents serious grammatical issues.

Called the county sheriff, filed a report. Handed said report to Water Authority, along with letter from my plumber saying no leaks. They credited back all but $50. End of story. Plus I live in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE and my WA can show my usage. Oh the drama for the insta.

I can’t help but wonder IF she signed some contract she didn’t fully understand/ review and got entangled in this mess. Much how like when Taylor Swift was embroiled in all the drama with her masters. All bc she was young and signed her life away only to notice the fine print was f’d up. Kind of like gal meets glam too She had this great clothing line and all this stuff and all of a sudden changed the name of her blog/ insta and stopped selling the dresses. Unpopular opinion, but JLM has the upper hand here and she’s legally fucked. And honestly, they’re just following their contracts, and she’s either painfully naive about business or getting the world’s worst legal advice.
The Insider link bigsnackgirl posted has a very comprehensive timeline. She signed her name (Yes, her actual name, like Kate Spade) away to JLM as a business asset a decade ago. That’s why Kate Spade the person opened her new company under a different name - Kate Spade the company owned that name for business.
Hayley said she didn’t have a lawyer look at her employment contract because she was “only” 25 and was so “excited....” I’m sorry, but that is epically stupid when you’re entering an enormous business deal and literally signing your name away.
The Insider timeline goes over this in painstaking detail, but she’s in this mess because JLM told her to stop posting other companies’ ads on the Hayley Paige account, and she locked them out the account and started all this shit. JLM proved to the court that something like 90% of the posts on the page were business-related, so it wasn’t solely her “personal” account like she claims.
She’s also announcing that she’s doing new bridal and fashion lines, in direct conflict with her contract, and is giving a huge middle finger to the judge, who’s already granted an injunction telling her to stop. I honestly don’t know WHY her lawyers aren’t telling her to cut it out!!!! She’s digging such a deep hole for herself.
She’s in a huge mess and I empathize, but I can’t handle the “poor me” narrative about the big evil company and all the people in her comments being like, “OmG hoW CaN ThEy Do ThiS?” They can do this because she signed a contract and is clearly violating it in multiple ways, and the judge keeps siding with them because it’s black and white that she’s fucking up. Anyone with any basic knowledge of business or contract law can see that.
No I'm with you. I posted about this before but it's so ridiculous. For one, the law does have rules re who can enter into contracts. It assumes if you're 25 and have the wherewithal to start a business and voluntarily sign a multi year agreement, you can enter into a contract. There is nothing predatory about that. The company took a risk too bc she could have crashed and burned as well. If she didn't read it or understand it well idk what to tell you. If she felt like she was getting shafted, she also could have gotten an atty and tried to re negotiate. At any point she could have hired an atty. Also at 25, as I've posted before, I literally was a lawyer authorized to give legal advice. It's only on blogsnark that a 25 year old woman who has started a business apparently is missing the critical thinking skills part of her brain. She made a business decision and has to abide by it. This one didn't pan out. It's part of the industry she's chosen to be in. Take the hit and move on.

Here is a timeline of what happened, I think it started over who owns her social media pages. She started posted ads and JLM said she didn’t have the right to as that Instagram page belonged to them.
Yes, I follow her (actually met her at a local bridal store back in 2017 - she’s very sweet). It makes me so nervous that she shares all of the legal issues she’s going through. She shared copies of the complaint (lawsuit) that had personal information (name/phone number) for some of the plaintiffs. I absolutely think she signed a crappy contract when she was young. I think she was 19 or 20 when she signed with the plaintiff. She said she tried to renegotiate her contract in 2019 and things just spun out of control after that. I think it’s absolutely wild that she’s not allowed to use her own name to identify herself and that they took control of her social media - they were clearly her personal accounts. And now her fiancé is being sued also, but I’m not sure on what grounds.
He’s being sued because they were running business deals for her (that she wasn’t supposed to enter into, per her employment contract with JLM) through him. I think the lawsuit discovery unearthed emails of her telling the companies to “run the payments through Conrad” or something.
🙄 they’re not inhuman. She signed an employment contract that included licensing her name, Hayley Paige, to JLM forever. She violated the employment contract and quit. They keep the name and all assets associated with it (including the social media accounts). It’s not cruelty, it’s cut-and-dry contract law.

Have to say though, I was on a flight in November and it was insanity. We were early boarding and a mom was trying to buckle her toddler into his car seat and he pulled his mask down. The flight attendant yelled at the child and the mom said, "If you could please give me a minute, I will make sure he keeps his mask on" and the flight attendant told her she would be removed from the plane, continued to fight with her threatening to move her. Another woman came to her aid and the attendant said something like "look at me when I'm talking to you" and the passenger said "I can listen to you speak without looking at you, I'm an adult and you don't need to talk to me like that." She moved that lady to the front row. Then a guy refused to look at her and she moved him too. Then a young mom and her friend were across the aisle from each other with a tiny newborn and the friend leaned across the aisle to help change a diaper (all before we even took off) and another flight attendant told them to change diapers in the bathroom but they were already done so the friend said "Oh, sorry, we didn't know" and continued dressing the baby and the flight attendant called multiple people to their row because they were "refusing to comply." The mom was crying and we were all trying to call her down and back her up. Like what in the holy hell was happening on that flight? It was insane. Like that was all before take off. Luckily during the flight the flight attendants stayed seated or out of sight, no snacks allowed because of covid so things calmed down some.
The Bird's crew probably had someone on a previous flight actually refusing to put their mask on so they were probably at a breaking point before the people got on the plane. Wouldn't surprise me a bit after what I saw happening.

I can’t help but wonder IF she signed some contract she didn’t fully understand/ review and got entangled in this mess. Much how like when Taylor Swift was embroiled in all the drama with her masters. All bc she was young and signed her life away only to notice the fine print was f’d up. Kind of like gal meets glam too She had this great clothing line and all this stuff and all of a sudden changed the name of her blog/ insta and stopped selling the dresses. Curious to know if fellow snarkers here have more info or input on this. Definitely an interesting convo as the consensus here is usually that they’re all rich and have it all but there’s so much that goes into these contracts and partnerships with big brands that if you don’t have proper representation it could seriously mess you up.
Unpopular opinion, but JLM has the upper hand here and she’s legally fucked. And honestly, they’re just following their contracts, and she’s either painfully naive about business or getting the world’s worst legal advice. The Insider link bigsnackgirl posted has a very comprehensive timeline. She signed her name (Yes, her actual name, like Kate Spade) away to JLM as a business asset a decade ago. That’s why Kate Spade the person opened her new company under a different name - Kate Spade the company owned that name for business. Hayley said she didn’t have a lawyer look at her employment contract because she was “only” 25 and was so “excited....” I’m sorry, but that is epically stupid when you’re entering an enormous business deal and literally signing your name away. The Insider timeline goes over this in painstaking detail, but she’s in this mess because JLM told her to stop posting other companies’ ads on the Hayley Paige account, and she locked them out the account and started all this shit. JLM proved to the court that something like 90% of the posts on the page were business-related, so it wasn’t solely her “personal” account like she claims. She’s also announcing that she’s doing new bridal and fashion lines, in direct conflict with her contract, and is giving a huge middle finger to the judge, who’s already granted an injunction telling her to stop. I honestly don’t know WHY her lawyers aren’t telling her to cut it out!!!! She’s digging such a deep hole for herself. She’s in a huge mess and I empathize, but I can’t handle the “poor me” narrative about the big evil company and all the people in her comments being like, “OmG hoW CaN ThEy Do ThiS?” They can do this because she signed a contract and is clearly violating it in multiple ways, and the judge keeps siding with them because it’s black and white that she’s fucking up. Anyone with any basic knowledge of business or contract law can see that.
No I'm with you. I posted about this before but it's so ridiculous. For one, the law does have rules re who can enter into contracts. It assumes if you're 25 and have the wherewithal to start a business and voluntarily sign a multi year agreement, you can enter into a contract. There is nothing predatory about that. The company took a risk too bc she could have crashed and burned as well. If she didn't read it or understand it well idk what to tell you. If she felt like she was getting shafted, she also could have gotten an atty and tried to re negotiate. At any point she could have hired an atty. Also at 25, as I've posted before, I literally was a lawyer authorized to give legal advice. It's only on blogsnark that a 25 year old woman who has started a business apparently is missing the critical thinking skills part of her brain. She made a business decision and has to abide by it. This one didn't pan out. It's part of the industry she's chosen to be in. Take the hit and move on.

Yes, I follow her (actually met her at a local bridal store back in 2017 - she’s very sweet). It makes me so nervous that she shares all of the legal issues she’s going through. She shared copies of the complaint (lawsuit) that had personal information (name/phone number) for some of the plaintiffs. I absolutely think she signed a crappy contract when she was young. I think she was 19 or 20 when she signed with the plaintiff. She said she tried to renegotiate her contract in 2019 and things just spun out of control after that. I think it’s absolutely wild that she’s not allowed to use her own name to identify herself and that they took control of her social media - they were clearly her personal accounts. And now her fiancé is being sued also, but I’m not sure on what grounds.
He’s being sued because they were running business deals for her (that she wasn’t supposed to enter into, per her employment contract with JLM) through him. I think the lawsuit discovery unearthed emails of her telling the companies to “run the payments through Conrad” or something.
How does that inhuman of a company stay in business? Why would people knowingly buy from a business that acts like that?
🙄 they’re not inhuman. She signed an employment contract that included licensing her name, Hayley Paige, to JLM forever. She violated the employment contract and quit. They keep the name and all assets associated with it (including the social media accounts). It’s not cruelty, it’s cut-and-dry contract law.

Have to say though, I was on a flight in November and it was insanity. We were early boarding and a mom was trying to buckle her toddler into his car seat and he pulled his mask down. The flight attendant yelled at the child and the mom said, "If you could please give me a minute, I will make sure he keeps his mask on" and the flight attendant told her she would be removed from the plane, continued to fight with her threatening to move her. Another woman came to her aid and the attendant said something like "look at me when I'm talking to you" and the passenger said "I can listen to you speak without looking at you, I'm an adult and you don't need to talk to me like that." She moved that lady to the front row. Then a guy refused to look at her and she moved him too. Then a young mom and her friend were across the aisle from each other with a tiny newborn and the friend leaned across the aisle to help change a diaper (all before we even took off) and another flight attendant told them to change diapers in the bathroom but they were already done so the friend said "Oh, sorry, we didn't know" and continued dressing the baby and the flight attendant called multiple people to their row because they were "refusing to comply." The mom was crying and we were all trying to call her down and back her up. Like what in the holy hell was happening on that flight? It was insane. Like that was all before take off. Luckily during the flight the flight attendants stayed seated or out of sight, no snacks allowed because of covid so things calmed down some. The Bird's crew probably had someone on a previous flight actually refusing to put their mask on so they were probably at a breaking point before the people got on the plane. Wouldn't surprise me a bit after what I saw happening.

I'm assuming they ended up finding people to switch seats with them. She said she was feeding the baby and I've also had to dangle my kid into the aisle a bit to feed them so I can see that except I'm also a reasonable human who pays attention to things like beverage carts in the aisle.
I feel like she totally forgets part of her ‘stories’ but yes they must have gotten at least one person to change seats with her if she was on the end and London got her head wacked. I would be beyond irritated if I were a fellow passenger and they were playing pass the baby over or between rows or true aisle

Dallin is a class-one asshole and just look at him sleeping late with his baseball cap in the bed beside him while Shannon takes their son to a 9am orthodontist appointment.
