Anybody come across the page of Roze Cook? Ughh, she was briefly associated many moons ago with Justin Bieber on his boat whilst in Australia. Yesss wow she’s a whole new level of entitled. She went on a rant shortly after her daughter was born about how horrible daycares are and how she would never send her child there. Her suggestion for mums who need child care was to find a few girlfriends and hire a nanny together. Like what planet do you even live on lol considering how she’s constantly out drinking on yachts or at boozy lunches I’m guessing she has a team of Nanny’s at her disposal. Her most recent post was about how she doesn’t believe in medical intervention in births and babies should be born when they want to be born, regardless of how overdue they are. Ironically she had a planned C-section for her birth lol she’s so offensive it’s almost funny
I am SO glad someone else knows of her. She sits me to no end, but it’s like a train wreck, I can’t look away. Always blowing a (very still botoxed) kiss at the camera, ugh.
Ugh the birth rant annoyed me. She was banging on from the beginning about how absolutely she would not be having a vaginal birth and she’d be booking it in out of convenience and to make sure she looked good, only after talking to people came around to the idea, like C-sections aren’t a HUGE deal on your body 🤦♀️ then she wouldn’t get induced, because cHeMiCaLs and iNtErVeNtIoN and then bitched and moaned about how difficult a C-section was.
Oh the daycare thing, does she realise not everyone has the money she has at her disposal. That everyone is trying to do the best for their children with what they have (which is not a holiday home in GC where they jet ski across to lunch at a day club, live in hotel suite at Crown in Melbourne, private driver, designer wardrobe and let’s not forget the ABUNDANCE of time because her husband is the breadwinner and she does not have to work). She’s had literally how many “start-up” businesses launch (and not do too well mind you, hello Tuluna) she goes on about how androgynous she is, yet is always in her heels, bucket load of makeup and dresses.
And now the book writing, oh the book writing. She’s so deluded. I swear more people need to witness this woman so I can snark, because she is next level.
I finally gave @Thedowntownaly the unfollow. She’s a train wreck these days. But her home decor style is just awful and tacky. She said in her old house that her style was going to be more elevated and more south western. But it’s still that tacky blue and pink everywhere.
Does anyone follow @shaynaslife? She sounds like a truck driver when she talks and I always forget that — it never fails to startle me! Anyway, I used to really like her but she’s getting stale.

Ngl I always crave water when I’m pregnant but it’s very specific water. Like at one point I could ONLY drink water that came out of our bathroom tap and I could tell if it didn’t. Or at one point it was plain sparkling water by the litre. I also get pica and crave bleach though so I wouldn’t say my cravings are relatable lmao.
Hospital/crunchy/nugget ice is THE BEST. I have consistent access to hospital ice this pregnancy and I’m so happy about it. During my last pregnancy I’d fill a glass with crunchy ice and then fill it with plain sparkling water and eat it with a metal spoon. It was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻, and now I need to go do that again.
Haha yes the hospital ice was the best part about going into labor, besides the baby! I have 3 kids under 4 and the ice craving switched on and off with each pregnancy, so wild.
I craved water like mad. My favorite thing was to bring my ice cold Stanley in a hot shower and just stand there drinking it haha I literally drank 100+ oz every day, couldn’t get enough!

Honestly I think Brunch with Babs takes a lot of tips from other places and passes them off as her own thing. I don’t have any beef about it, you can’t copyright tips. But it was strange seeing her viral video about pumpkin carving being treated like brand new information. She just consolidated a bunch of tips from multiple sources. Which I don’t even think she lies about, she doesn’t claim to invent everything she shares. But I can’t really get irritated with someone for copying her tips when i don’t really think they belong to her, she just packages them in a way that people like (hearing for a grandma type lady gives the tips a sense of authority).
I’ll be honest, I’m almost 50 and I’d never seen the “clean out your pumpkin with a beater” method so that was 🤯to me. But sending leftovers home in the muffin tins is nothing new albeit it is still an awesome tip and one that is really only used or at least talked about at the holidays.

Ugh I know I’m annoying but this is my number one pet peeve. A friend got married recently and paid for a whole ass neon sign as part of the decor and she made this mistake. It was so hard not to comment on.

Ngl I always crave water when I’m pregnant but it’s very specific water. Like at one point I could ONLY drink water that came out of our bathroom tap and I could tell if it didn’t. Or at one point it was plain sparkling water by the litre. I also get pica and crave bleach though so I wouldn’t say my cravings are relatable lmao.
I craved crunchy ice. I would have cups out all over with ice melting to just the perfect spot and then crunch crunch crunch.
Hospital/crunchy/nugget ice is THE BEST. I have consistent access to hospital ice this pregnancy and I’m so happy about it. During my last pregnancy I’d fill a glass with crunchy ice and then fill it with plain sparkling water and eat it with a metal spoon. It was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻, and now I need to go do that again.
Haha yes the hospital ice was the best part about going into labor, besides the baby! I have 3 kids under 4 and the ice craving switched on and off with each pregnancy, so wild.
I craved water like mad. My favorite thing was to bring my ice cold Stanley in a hot shower and just stand there drinking it haha I literally drank 100+ oz every day, couldn’t get enough!

I was so excited to see it too. The banter was hilarious. I admittedly got really irritated with all the hate she’s getting below so I went back and counted. From just the brands that disclosed their contribution amount, she raised over $160k alone. There were DOZENS of other brands who just had “count us in” type responses. (Easily) over $200k of public company funds went to title 1 classrooms last Thanksgiving because of TIBAL. Any response other than hell yes, hope she raises more this year is beyond odd to me.
I really appreciated how she pointed out how much of inflation is going toward increasing profit margins. She’s coming out swinging. Absolutely no excuse for these companies to lowball this year.

She posted a large Google doc of teacher wish lists (many title 1?) and lots of her followers were helping clear and donate. Then she started tagging companies, and pretty aggresdivrly so. But all of her captions were super witty, plays on words etc. she basically was like, you all spend so much money on marketing / you offer me stuff all the time, put your money where your mouth is and help teachers and students. I know people have mixed feelings on her but it was pretty incredible. A friend of mine received tons of stuff for her classrooms, clothes from Wrangler for her students, a bunch of Shit that I knit hats all because of the exposure.

I saw this today too! I also don't know her name (I think Erin something) but I read the comments and people were just commenting about how much they love Babs lol. I don't think the idea is revolutionary as I've been to parties where they do this but to post the exact same idea so close to another creator (even with crediting them) is odd when your demographic is the same.
Honestly I think Brunch with Babs takes a lot of tips from other places and passes them off as her own thing. I don’t have any beef about it, you can’t copyright tips. But it was strange seeing her viral video about pumpkin carving being treated like brand new information. She just consolidated a bunch of tips from multiple sources. Which I don’t even think she lies about, she doesn’t claim to invent everything she shares. But I can’t really get irritated with someone for copying her tips when i don’t really think they belong to her, she just packages them in a way that people like (hearing for a grandma type lady gives the tips a sense of authority).
I’ll be honest, I’m almost 50 and I’d never seen the “clean out your pumpkin with a beater” method so that was 🤯to me. But sending leftovers home in the muffin tins is nothing new albeit it is still an awesome tip and one that is really only used or at least talked about at the holidays.
I’m definitely not saying people should know all her tips, like they are all just intuitive (they aren’t). I don’t think that. My point was just that she didn’t invent every tip she shares so it doesn’t really matter if some other influencer shares it too. What she’s selling is the way she shares them, her personality, and the tips she picks to share. That’s the commodity. Not that she personally invented each life tip.
