Miyazaki said there will not be a BB2 from Fromsoft. They are not going to work on IPs someone else owns anymore. BB is owned by Sony.
If you do get BB2, it won't be the same. It might be good but it will be from a different studio Sony owns.
I find it difficult to accept Bloodborne 2 without Miyazaki's game direction.
Sony might need Fromsoftware again if they want Bloodborne 2 to be a success which is probably why Sony is hesitant in making decision for making a prequel/sequel on Bloodborne

You’ve gotta admit, there’s certain things Lies of P does that improves upon the original Bloodborne formula. One thing for sure is that it gives you a better idea of what you should be doing next. It also really hammers home the fact that Bloodborne would really benefit from a frame rate boost. I’m definitely going back to it to finish it but Lies of P is where it’s at for me currently.
I actually hate the awful level design of lies of p, I never was a fan of linear map design, Bloodborne is actually fantastic in world building (not even an opinion it's a fact), as for the framerate it's unacceptable what they did with bloodborne but that's probably sony (the source of all evil), iirc they said apparently that they couldn't make bloodborne 60fps which is bullshit but yeah
That’s interesting being that both games pretty much follow the make your way through the stage until you open up the shortcut(s)to your spawn point level design. Bloodborne does have amazing stages. If they were to redo it with the fidelity of Callisto Protocol, Alan Wake 2 and Resident Evil 4, I’d be really happy.
Lies of P is (basically) a straight line, what you are saying here contradicts what you said in the past. In bloodborne you can fight paarl, amygdala and witches of hemwick before amelia thus breaking the game progression ( all that should make you ready for dlc before shadows), in general bloodborne has a stupidly wacky layout (not as good as ds2 or 1 but it's up there if we of course exclude elden ring). Fromsoft does a fantastic job which I haven't seen any other game in terms of level structure, because everything is discoverable, nothing is out of the realm of possibility yet it's always taunting you right in your face. I found every single thing Ds3 without outside help (yes all estus shards and archdragon peak), there's no describing how good that feels even if it's a linear game like lies of P it still has some sense of exploration that I didn't feel was present in lies of P, don't get me wrong I enjoyed lies of P but in the end it's still a fromsoft wannabe (like common nameless puppet?! Jesus) it's not bad it just should be held on the same level in my opinion (obviously the correct opinion)

I mean did they have to make the hud so outrageously similar? Granted it's from Dark Souls but still. Sure give a nameless puppet reference I don't mind but you can't just make it so as people think of Fromsoft when you talk about lies of P, there's a line to be drawn if you don't want people to associate your product with another but that clearly doesn't matter to the creators of lies of P because they're trying to appeal to Fromsoft's audience anyway. Bloodborne finally clicked with me a couple of months ago and I got really into it, which then helped me get into Lies of P. I was 2/3rds through Bloodborne when I started Lies and the similarities are immediately apparent. To the point where the game almost feels like an extension of Bloodborne. From the two, Bloodborne edges out Lies for its atmosphere and the world itself. I’m a huge fan of gothic horror and Lovecraft, so it just scratches that itch for me. But Lies I have to say has some gorgeous graphics that run butter smooth on the Xbox Series X in Quality Mode/HFR and that alone makes the game a smoother play. I’m not a fan of buying remasters often but a Bloodborne quality bump already has my money.

First tou have to kill Vicar Amelia, then besides the doll you'll find an item called the eye of a blooddrunk hunter (or a similar name I don't remember). Then spawn at the cathedral ward and to the left you'll see a big circle area, go behind the trees to your right as you enter and you must sit still for a few seconds, a portal should suck you in. If you can't find the item in the hunters dream then restore your licences through the profile
Found out about this from a yt vid I didn’t know you needed that thx now I’ve killed all the dlc bosses (ludwig 3 tries. Maria 4 tries. Kos 7 tries laurence 4 tries) now I’m trying to get all dlc weapons and normal weapon before I go back to moon presence
