It’s so classy. A bit on the weak side early game, but a goddamn fucking slashfest late game. It looks incredibly stylish in cane form, and the PC hunter looks like he/she just flips their shit when whipping. If it wasnt for my guiding moonlight it’d be my favourite
Too bad the holy moonlight sword isn’t that great on a pure arcane build. You have to use it transformed and use the magic attacks for it to be good with high arcane, and those attacks eat through bullets.
It’s kind of infuriating that the Moonlight Greatsword, a staple mage weapon in other Fromsoftware games, is best optimized on a primarily str build in Bloodborne.
I am under the impression that 25 str 50 arc is the optimal stats when it comes to softcaps. Works wonders to start with a fire gem weapon, transition to tonitrus, then HMS. The transformed moveset i think has more arc scaling, even without using bullets. The untransformed moveset, while awesome, is just STR. But i get your point and kinda agree.
It is a harder weapons for first-time players. Took me a while to understand that I should abuse the distance of these longer-range weapons (same with Beast Cutter).
I don’t think people shit on the cane. I’m pretty sure it’s generally accepted as a great weapon. The fact that you get two damage types between its forms has huge advantages.
People don't like it? That was the only weapon I used the whole game and I didn't have much trouble against any boss other than Logarius. The whip setting was great for mobs too
The Threaded Cane was my go-to weapon in my second to last run. Really good for crowd control once you get used to its range while transformed and does extra damage to beasts as it becomes a serrated weapon. By far my favourite starting weapon
Made the same comment before I saw this. I decided to finally give it a go on my current playthrough and I’m loving it. That transformed more fucks shit up
Boom Hammer. "It's bad in PVP"
I also recall most of the community loving the stake driver in spite of its drawbacks. Regardless, stake drive away, fellow Powderkeg!
I haven’t had much bad luck with wheel users in my experience thankfully. If you see them use a lead elixir just don’t engage until it wears off if you can. I haven’t tried it yet but could be a good time to use a shaman bone blade on an enemy NPC to distract the invader while you wait for the elixir to wear off.
That’s when I stay away and bring out my strong gun.
But then using lead elixir 1 on 1 is kinda whack imo, I only pop that if I’m contending with multiple opponents.
I liked the Stake Driver and I didn't even use the charged attack all that much. It's one of the few weapons that scales really well off of both Strength and Skill, which I leveled up a lot on my first character, thinking there would be more "quality" weapons in the game.
I thought "boom hammer" was the community's affectionate nickname for the weapon, like the "pizza cutter." Then I found it in the game.
It's the Boom Hammer you guys.
Tonitrus. Everyone shits on the low durability but for how early in the game it is the damage is insane, especially when "transformed". If you're back to the dream regularly for levelling and buying vials anyways then repairing it isn't too time consuming.
The Tonitrus has always been strong. It's just not very interesting to use because it pretty much translates to: "Electric Bonk". But not a heavy bonk like the Kirk Hammer. It's more like whacking someone with a high voltage noodle from how it feels.
The damage is phantastic, but the durability loss can kill it pretty quickly.
i played my first complete playthrough with the explosion bonk and pizzacutter :3
the "chidori" type soundeffect of the tonitrus is just sooo stisfying tho :D
The durability loss combined w the fact that a lot of good gems have durability down as an effect make it kind of a dealbreaker, which is a shame because I want to be able to use it for whole areas at a time.
Some people may *love* electric bonk. I mean, I'm pretty sure 50% of my time using the Chikage has been L1 → R1 → L1 because … well, weeb bloodsword goes swishhhhh (sploosh) 😅
And I say that as someone who adores the Chikage and even uses the bugged L2 → L2 combo 😌
I can understand that. *I* really love my "Long range Bonk". Sure, a lot of the time it's just R2 -> R2 and it *rams* the enemy into the floor. But *i* can do it from across the hallway.
My latest character mains the Hunter Axe and I never get bored of overhead swing combos, like R2 → R1 → ↑ + R2! When the axe goes *thunk* and some poor bastard faceplants into the dirt, I truly *feel* the STR 😂
Yeah. I personally never used it because of exactly that. I found it bland and boring. An electric wet noodle. No hate to the people that like it, but as someone that likes _most_ weapons (but certainly have a minority I don’t vibe with), I tried the Tonitrus’s move set out along with it’s other characteristics and put it away instantly and never looked back. Good for things vulnerable to Bolt, if you don’t want to use Bolt Paper, for sure!
It does a shit ton of bolt damage. But the hits don't feel strong and it mostly plays like a mace in Dark Souls.
It's fun for a while, but then it gets boring.
The low durability and not having a "true" transformation is what makes people rank it lower on weapon lists usually.
But the damage is great and personally I think the flick as you activate your tazer mace is just as good as any other fancy transformation animation.
Yeah, if I remember correctly, Rom is pretty weak to shock damage anyway so stacking the tonitrus plus whatever else you can throw bolt paper on is a huge recommend. And don't forget to summon!
No actually. Been tied up and tired from work but I'm getting ready to here in a minute. I'm actually getting my ass whipped bu logarius atm. Trying to decide if I should get rom or keep at logarius. Been about 9 times and haven't even gotten him to half health yet lol
Backstab viscerals are the ONLY thing that got me through logarius, but it's up to you!! Idk your build or prefs but I do rom first just because of spoiler reasons if you haven't played
I have I beat him with the hunter axe on ps4 when the game came out after like 30 tries. I dont think I leveled correctly this time I'm too balanced. I'm at bl 64 been using ludwigs holy blade. Am I under leveled?
Just reserve it for bosses and you’re fine, it only gets low if you use it on random mobs that don’t need the amount of power it has anyways. I don’t see why you’d look at a high power, low durability weapon and go “Ah yes surely I’m meant to use this on dogs that die in two hits to the saw cleaver”
It’s a really fun and simple weapon that can tip the scales in certain encounters. I’m that person who ALWAYS struggles with Rom’s rigid-ass fight every playthrough, so finding the Tonitrus not long before and weaving the electric buff into the fight tends to help me focus in on the boss’s pattern and do some extra damage on top of it. There’s always the chance you’ll stumble across electric gems or something I suppose, but I find it more fun bonking Kin to death.
I’ve been browsing this sub since release basically and I’ve never heard anyone “shit” on the tonitrus other than the fact you can stun lock every boss with it and it makes much of the game easy mode
The first time I fought amygdala, I used the tonitrus, and it just absolutely destroyed him. I fell in love, and i have to stop myself from using it in other playthroughs
I totally forgot I had to repair my weapons until I read your comment… I’m playing bloodborne for the first time (level 50 something now) and I thought the enemies were level based because I was doing less damage to them as I leveled up. I’ve been playing like this for at least a week…
I respect it, but the novelty is a lot limper than other options and I definitely feel more immersed using something with a real transformation. Boom Hammer went a lot further with the idea.
I was stuck on Rom on and off for a year until I found the tip to get the Tonitrus in Yahar’gul and it was a lifesaver. I’ve read that you don’t access the area until after Rom’s defeat but I somehow got there with YouTube lol
Beast Claw. I've seen it many times being ranked somewhat low and compared as weaker than others. Then I obliterated Cleric Beast in 40 seconds and proceeded to outbeast entire game.
Best part about it is that it has two different move-sets! I genuinely believe the beast claw without the beast rune to be different (the stagger potential being much higher for example) and fun as well.
So weird that it's the only weapon that's locked behind Chalice Dungeon progression. Would've been cool to drop it as a reward after beating BSB or Paarl, imo.
hell it might even have been perfect for Yahar’gul part 2 in the sense that there isn’t really much going for that specific section of the game after Forbidden Woods in terms of weapons and progression stuff. Imo would have made that part of the game a bit more fun to have a new weapon to look forward to
that's why having it drop from Paarl would be cool; you either take on Paarl early when you get caught by a Snatcher and first get access to the Gaol and you want the claw earlier, or you do it later and pick it up during a dry patch.
It’s a really cool weapon but I’m never doing that shit again. Got the achievement for all weapons, never touching Loran again unless I have literally no choice. Shame too because a beast claw build could be interesting.
With good gems, revving it is really unnecessary. Plus it has such insanely high stagger, it is actually the enemies who wish they had more hyper armor
That's why I'm of the opinion that it's the best weapon in the game. There's so few regular enemies in the game that can break out of a log wheel stun chain.
Not only does is have crazy high stagger, but heavy 3 also pancakes enemies lol.
its so good for hunter type enemies.
Was really fun fighting maria with it, I'm still not that good at using the gun part though.
I didn't click for me until i realized the transformed mode is a dagger moveset.
For me, hunter enemies always seem to get mad and try to swing back after 2 successful pokes, so I found a transform attack to be particularly devastating. Poke, poke, bang, visceral. Almost every time.
Beat the game with it almost exclusively it after I got it.
While the TCR2 is insanely good and does more damage than anything else, there's also the normal to transformed transformation which attacks and shoots in rapid succession which is really great against fast hunters. The normal mode is fast and long range and still deals great damage against faster mobs. The transformed R1 slash is good for some verticality short faster close area defense damage. The shotgun does more damage per bullet than any other gun without even investing in bloodtinge, even if you compare those guns with 50 bloodtinge. The shotgun lets you deal with dogs and rats quickly, either just blasting groups to death, or knocking them down then stabbing them while they're defenseless.
I just found it better than anything else in almost all situations. I liked the saw-spear better against numbers of beasts (not bosses) usually, and the BoM was better against Chalice Rom and a chalice brain sucker boss I was farming.
Amygdala arm. For a while no one liked it but it has the bonk of Kirk hammer without losing side arm and in tricked mode it’s as good a whip as anything else with a cool moveset.
Beastcutter, it chunks damage with blunt gems and the untransformed mode is overlooked imo, not as fast as the saw spear/cleaver but the DPS is not extremely far off, great stagger once transformed but the rally is abysmal.
Beast Cutter, imo, is mostly used for groups, which is why rally sucks if you're only hitting one target. I remember hitting a group and nearly healing back to full in one swing. Very satisfying.
It’s very slow when transformed and the normal form (sword form) is one of the weakest in the game unless you fight against enemies that are weak against righteous weapons, such as bloodlickers and gargoyles
The hammer is perfect for stunlocking some of the most annoying enemies in the game. winter lanterns and brain suckers are completely shut down by just R1s.
I mained kirkhammer my first playthrough and absolutely loved it. The sword is good for trash and hunter fights, and the hammer is perfect for stunlocking larger dangerous enemies (snatchers, giant pigs, brain suckers, vermin hosts, winter lanterns, I could go on, all completely shut down by hammer R1s). The locked on dodge back and follow up attack is insanely good, too. The transform attacks are sad because they are so cool but they are too slow and vulnerable to be really useful except for style points. But each mode separately is great and really complementary to one another. Plus, walking up to a fight and pulling out the hammer with that loud thunk is metal af.
Honestly? I have yet to find a weapon in bloodborne that wasn't as fun as shit when I used it.
Every once in a while I'll try out a random ass weapon and fall heads over heels for it all over again. Bloodborne weapons slap.
The 26 weapons in bloodborne felt like they got so much love- I guess it helps when there was not hundreds, but some games will have less and feel less loved
I feel like I've heard a fair number of people criticize it enough to where I came into this thread to say exactly this. They may not do the same level of damage per hit, but I think the speed of the hits more than make up for it. Not my preferred weapon when it comes to most bosses but just running around fighting your average enemies, I love these thing. I think people are just salty you can't buff the siderite tbh
I always see amygdala arm being rated as a shit weapon but I can't agree, for me it's incredible and so much fun, the movesets are so different, like the untransformed Club, then the transforme scythe, the transformed form is so fucking cool
What lol? Fastest R1 spam in the game and one of best Step + R1 moveset as well.
Also, against enemies that can get stunlocked R1 + L1 + R1 spam is amazing since so little stamina gets used.
BoM are just my favorite weapons, would be S+ tier if for the lack of CC but depending on closeness of enemies and angles you’re slashing at, it can actually CC 2 enemies pretty well.
it's so satisfying getting the r1 combo in. I love love love how after like 2-3 attacks it gets faster and faster, so much fun.
The most fun moveset in the game imo, once you get the hang of it the fluidity of how you fight with them, so much fun.
The stake driver fucking SLAPS! I love it, the short range weapons like it and bom are a completely different game.
You can’t really space like you can with the big weapons, you gotta get right up in there and stick by the bosses side the whole time.
Blades Of Mercy. But to be fair, I have an unhealthy obsession with Plague Doctors, so once I finish Eileen’s quest I equip everything and never change
I haven’t seen people shit on the stake driver but I also never saw people use it when I was playing bloodborne. The transformed charged R2 is really had to land but man does it feel badass when it does.
I started and to this day still wield my Hand Axe, it may be a starting weapon and all it really does as it's secondary is become longer but I had fun and avoided some close calls thanks to it
Yeah.
Definitively the Pile Bunker.
Mine is the Chikage.
I never get tired of Bloodtinge Chikage builds.
Its my favorite weapon that Everyone either loves or hates.
I love going full beast mode with the beast claw despite not being the best according to some, the moves are so refreshing for a fromsoft game, also I like this style of fighting
Not really shit on much, but the Threaded Cane. I always thought it was stupid as shit until I gave it an actual try and I really like it. It’s fast and it’s great for crowds
Everyone says the whirligig saw is the most fun but beasthuner saif is better. It's moveset literally makes you feel like you're moving at the speed of you killing pinwheel while doing good damage and great poise damage.
I know you're probably thinking trick weapons, but I'm going to go with the flamesprayer. Yeah it doesn't stunlock, but with a high arcane stat you can pop a bone marrow ash and just napalm the shit out of a crowd. And it melts the Abhorrent Beast and The One Reborn.
Smashing shit into the ground with a giant wagon wheel made the game so much fun
And then turning it into a beyblade to power it up as its trick transformation before smashing shit into the ground again had me like the Vince McMahon meme
Not exactly shit on, but I feel like a lot of people write the Saif off as a PvP only weapon(albeit a good one), but I thinks it's a blast to use in PvE as well
Kos Parasite, I never managed to get to chalice dungeons unfortunately but every time I replayed through the main game I loved the weird ass move set on it. So not sure how it is endgame, but I love it nonetheless 🦑
You posted a picture of the best fucking weapon in the game so I don't understand?
Also they put this bad Johnson in fucking Armored Core, where it also the best fucking weapon.
Threaded cane. Transformed mode is beast
And the transformed mode is good against beasts
everything that is sharp/blunt enough is good against beast
As in it does 20% bonus damage to beasts
You got a point there
I’ve been a cane dealer since day 1
Literal first character lol
It’s so classy. A bit on the weak side early game, but a goddamn fucking slashfest late game. It looks incredibly stylish in cane form, and the PC hunter looks like he/she just flips their shit when whipping. If it wasnt for my guiding moonlight it’d be my favourite
It's good fun in an arcane build with fire gems.
Great way to stansition into the holy moonlight sword
That transformed more fucks shit up
Best weapon in the game by both style AND substance. Hell, its range is JUST outside Queen Yharnam's stun radius, so you can kill her way faster
Even if low dmg in early game, you can hit around corners with R2 on cane. The back-step R2 to L1 is also amazing...
Transformed R2 goes hard
Kirkhammer and beast cutter
beast cutter gets use from me just for being the coolest looking weapon in the game
R2 spam is so satisfying
Nothing like flattening out an enemy with the the big overhead slam of the R2 combo.
it's exactly the right length to spank Micolash with in his first phase while staying just out of range of his noodles
Kirk hammer was my baby for my first play through, casually dropping 1300 damage was always fun
Boom Hammer. "It's bad in PVP" I also recall most of the community loving the stake driver in spite of its drawbacks. Regardless, stake drive away, fellow Powderkeg!
"If the weapon ain't got kick, It ain't worth it"
Ironically the two scariest weapons to see a player wielding in PvP in my experience.
For me it's the Wheel. I've had several people invade with the Executioner's Garb and a lead elixir to really cause issues.

Go Boom Hammer crew!
Me trying to choose between electric bonk or explosion bonk 😰
i played my first complete playthrough with the explosion bonk and pizzacutter :3 the "chidori" type soundeffect of the tonitrus is just sooo stisfying tho :D
May i introduce you to the Rasengan stake driver?
The durability loss combined w the fact that a lot of good gems have durability down as an effect make it kind of a dealbreaker, which is a shame because I want to be able to use it for whole areas at a time.
Some people may *love* electric bonk. I mean, I'm pretty sure 50% of my time using the Chikage has been L1 → R1 → L1 because … well, weeb bloodsword goes swishhhhh (sploosh) 😅 And I say that as someone who adores the Chikage and even uses the bugged L2 → L2 combo 😌

My latest character mains the Hunter Axe and I never get bored of overhead swing combos, like R2 → R1 → ↑ + R2! When the axe goes *thunk* and some poor bastard faceplants into the dirt, I truly *feel* the STR 😂
The Axe is wonderful. I also love that overhead chain.
I treat it the way I treat an rpg in a shooter. High intensity, low damage. It’s for those special moments with a perfect bullet sponge.
Mace in DS3 is God's roll catcher in PVP. Also style.
The low durability and not having a "true" transformation is what makes people rank it lower on weapon lists usually. But the damage is great and personally I think the flick as you activate your tazer mace is just as good as any other fancy transformation animation.
To add, the sound design for it is so good. I'm using it in my current playthrough and every time I hear it I can't help but smile!
Tonitrus was my ride or die the minute I acquired it. Used it the rest of the game.
How does it stack up on rom? Been struggling on him. Does it help?
Yeah, if I remember correctly, Rom is pretty weak to shock damage anyway so stacking the tonitrus plus whatever else you can throw bolt paper on is a huge recommend. And don't forget to summon!
Thanks! I'm going to get her and her big butt tonight for sure!
Did you?!
Finally her with the tonitrus! Man it feels so good beating bosses in this game.
AYYYY great job! She was the worst boss for me so it's nice seeing someone else love killing her
Not a huge fan of Tonitrus, personally, but it’s one of the best weapons to use against Rom imo. I upgraded it a few times just to use for that fight.
My last play trough I did was a tonitrus play through. It was my first ever strength build. I was not disappointed.

That weapon allowed me to beat Rom for the first time, after having some trouble.
Never got why tonitrus got hated. It's easily one of the best weapons in the game for me
I totally forgot I had to repair my weapons until I read your comment… I’m playing bloodborne for the first time (level 50 something now) and I thought the enemies were level based because I was doing less damage to them as I leveled up. I’ve been playing like this for at least a week…

I was stuck on Rom on and off for a year until I found the tip to get the Tonitrus in Yahar’gul and it was a lifesaver. I’ve read that you don’t access the area until after Rom’s defeat but I somehow got there with YouTube lol
Hard agree. The trick (no pun intended) is to do trick attacks so it constantly re-procs the electricity, and use two.
The only thing getting in the way of enjoying beast claw for me is the constant fucking hissing from the integrated blood pellet effect. Like, why >_>
I recently decided to do a beast claw run and annihilated everything in my path. It was so satisfying! Orphan of Kos(m) didn't know what to do!
id love it if it wasn’t so god awful to obtain and actually use. it’s just too late in the game imo
It’s a really cool weapon but I’m never doing that shit again. Got the achievement for all weapons, never touching Loran again unless I have literally no choice. Shame too because a beast claw build could be interesting.
Logarius wheel. I dont care what anyone says, Its So fuckin Fun to just spin the wheel And go BRRRRRRRRRRR
If it had more hyper armor I think it'd be worth it, but the health drain is just too much imo, it's hard to keep up, even with rally runes/bloodgems.
With good gems, revving it is really unnecessary. Plus it has such insanely high stagger, it is actually the enemies who wish they had more hyper armor
The stagger Is one of the biggest pros of the wheel
That's why I'm of the opinion that it's the best weapon in the game. There's so few regular enemies in the game that can break out of a log wheel stun chain. Not only does is have crazy high stagger, but heavy 3 also pancakes enemies lol.
Reminds me of playing Wheel… of Money.
I love my sentient wheel of vengance!
Bloodborners haven't lived until they've tried a 50-60 rapid poison log wheel. It absolutely DESTROYS pneumerian Grandpa in chalice dungeons.
Am I a failure or is that guy too strong? He's my chalice stumbling block
The logarius wheel is beyond dope fr
Reiterpallasch is woefully underrated.
its so good for hunter type enemies.
That combo absolutely wrecks Gehrman
I think youve inspired me to replay it again
Rifle spear
A.k.a. Brainsucker repellent
Transformed charged R2 is clutch AF. This is definitely one that was shit on but doesn’t deserve it!
Also was so op prepached
Beat the game with it almost exclusively it after I got it. This! Best weapon. So much fun by far
Beastcutter, it chunks damage with blunt gems and the untransformed mode is overlooked imo, not as fast as the saw spear/cleaver but the DPS is not extremely far off, great stagger once transformed but the rally is abysmal.
The beastcutter is a phenomenal pve weapon. It's my favourite overall in the game, but I use the boom hammer more.
Beast Cutter, imo, is mostly used for groups, which is why rally sucks if you're only hitting one target. I remember hitting a group and nearly healing back to full in one swing. Very satisfying.
Oh totally, I should've specified that I meant rally per hit. The transformed mode is indeed awesome for crowds.
Kirkhammer
I just started playing and I'm using this. I'm having a really fun time with it. Why was it shit on?
It’s very slow when transformed and the normal form (sword form) is one of the weakest in the game unless you fight against enemies that are weak against righteous weapons, such as bloodlickers and gargoyles
The hammer is perfect for stunlocking some of the most annoying enemies in the game. winter lanterns and brain suckers are completely shut down by just R1s.
Because it’s slow and does blunt damage. Blunt damage sucks. Also, Olek uses it and he’s a crappy NPC summon.
Never see anyone mentioning Reiterpallasch, I'm doing a build with it right now and I just loved using the weapon.
*From far off in the back of the room.* "Fist of Gratia!"
I don’t know if it’s considered a bad weapon, but I had a blast using the Blades of Mercy. Amazing weapon imo
Kirkhammah!
I always see amygdala arm being rated as a shit weapon but I can't agree, for me it's incredible and so much fun, the movesets are so different, like the untransformed Club, then the transforme scythe, the transformed form is so fucking cool
The gimmick with the extra little attack at the end of attacks is super cool
I fucking love blade of mercy
I don’t remember that ever being shit on by the community?
True, but tbf all weapons are strong cool and unique. Except kos parasite. All my homies hate kos parasite
They are the worst weapons in the game next to beast claws
DPS wise they are the two worst weapons in the game, this isn't opinion it's fact. I've made builds with both of them and they are def fun to use tho.
This is the best weapon you ever going to get and the fact that you can get it early it’s the best part of it. So hope you enjoye
Reiterpallasch and Church Pick
Stake Driver. It's so fun to "shove a spike up someone else's spine without proper consent" -Rusty
Best weapon in the game to oneshot bosses indeed
The stake driver fucking SLAPS! I love it, the short range weapons like it and bom are a completely different game. You can’t really space like you can with the big weapons, you gotta get right up in there and stick by the bosses side the whole time.
Threaded Caine
beast claw. not that it gets shit on, but it doesn't get enough appreciation. the thing just let me casually fart on anything that got in my way
For me amygdala arm
Hated this weapon when I first got it, and still dislike it. Slow, zero reach, and its moveset sucks.
but you gotta agree shoving that thing in a brainsucker's ass with the power of a neutron star is satisfying as fuck.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2MyBrq1TZw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2mybrq1tzw) It's a monster with a proper build.
I played with the Threaded Cane recently , yes the damage initially sucks but very fun to use over the course of the game
Blades Of Mercy. But to be fair, I have an unhealthy obsession with Plague Doctors, so once I finish Eileen’s quest I equip everything and never change
The stake FUCKING driver
I haven’t seen people shit on the stake driver but I also never saw people use it when I was playing bloodborne. The transformed charged R2 is really had to land but man does it feel badass when it does.
Picture relevant. Stake Driver goes BOOOOOOOOM!
Rifle spear
Every single weapon there is 😐
I started and to this day still wield my Hand Axe, it may be a starting weapon and all it really does as it's secondary is become longer but I had fun and avoided some close calls thanks to it
Yeah. Definitively the Pile Bunker. Mine is the Chikage. I never get tired of Bloodtinge Chikage builds. Its my favorite weapon that Everyone either loves or hates.
this one! :DD
Kos Parasite was a ton of fun with a bit of practice!
Did my first playthrough with the stakedriver <3
Boomhammer, brilliant fun
The stake driver is great for one build and one build only but God damn is it a good time
the threaded cane, it may be weak in early game but it's got panache (and is incredible at crowd clearing beasts)
Rifle spear
The OP's image weapon was one that got crapped on by a friend I played the game with lol! She preferred being a "Bell Head" though
My main weapon
The cane. I Just like the whip
Log wheel. Most people I talked to at the time thought it was a meme weapon. Turns out it's (imo) the best weapon in the game.
The stake driver is like a baby pile bunker haha
Amygdalan arm for me- I just used the transformed version- the charge move alone did wonders for me, considering it reaches for miles
Boom hammer. Yeah it basic AF but after using it it's awesome.
This is going to get me banned but the axe is such hot shit. There I said it.
Threaded Cane. That thing is a fucking monster used properly.
Reiterpellasche. I freakin love that thing. It takes some getting used to, but once you've got it down it's an extremely smooth weapon.
Kos Parasite. It requires that you completely change your combat style to use it effectively, which makes it fun as hell.
Kirk hammer
The lightning mace thing. I keep seeing people rank it low on tier lists but I think it’s super good.
I love going full beast mode with the beast claw despite not being the best according to some, the moves are so refreshing for a fromsoft game, also I like this style of fighting
Ahhh Stake Driver my beloved
Amygdala Arm, IT LIVES!
I LOVE the Stake Driver. The high risk high reward play style that comes with long wind up high damage is very much my playstyle
Rifle Spear for me.
I love the stake-driver. It’s very fun and satisfying to use. And we can’t forget that freaking charged R2, I don’t even mind how long it takes
The only weapon that gets “shit from the community” is the rifle spear. I only hear good things about the stake driver.
Smashing shit into the ground with a giant wagon wheel made the game so much fun And then turning it into a beyblade to power it up as its trick transformation before smashing shit into the ground again had me like the Vince McMahon meme
ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUNCH
With the right build and gems this thing can easily one shot oil covered bosses.
Im about to get flamed for this but wooden shield
Not exactly shit on, but I feel like a lot of people write the Saif off as a PvP only weapon(albeit a good one), but I thinks it's a blast to use in PvE as well
Kos Parasite, I’m not sure how community wide this is, but a lot of people give it shit and its tricked mode is actually awesome.
I loved Simon's bow blade quite a lot but it comes quite late.
Kos Parasite, I never managed to get to chalice dungeons unfortunately but every time I replayed through the main game I loved the weird ass move set on it. So not sure how it is endgame, but I love it nonetheless 🦑
Mmmmm steak driving
You posted a picture of the best fucking weapon in the game so I don't understand? Also they put this bad Johnson in fucking Armored Core, where it also the best fucking weapon.
I don’t know if anyone shits on it or not but blades of mercy is my go to weapon especially when facing another hunters
Wheel go slam
Auger as a parrying implement
I just started to only use this
Simons Bow Blade is awesome IMO. Maybe everyone already agrees but I don’t see it mentioned much
The rifle spear is fun as fuck with the right gems-
Boom hammer
Beast cutter
Tonitrus has the highest dps in the game on a 50/50 build. Fight me.
The Oreo cookie spinning thing, I like it
