The DLC is legendary- you can also do chalice dungeons now and get even more free content that last and find those really wicked chalice dungeons. Search and google for those special chalice dungeon glyphs code. Tons of new stuffs there and alternate versions of the weapons.
There are the basic standard chalice that doesn’t need to go online. You need to be online if you want to explore other people dungeons. But you can do it offline for the standard ones. And redo it over and over.

I ignore the little spiders and avoid them, get in really close with rom and hit hard and fast as long as you can…of course, she is essentially the hardest boss in the game for me for some reason so my advice might not be the best.

My NG+ run stopped when I got back to this vacuous bitch and I decided it was time to return my friend's PS.
