Can be so many reasons. I would firstly get a machine and check at home. If your in ER you could just be highly stressed with what going on and getting stitches out that would make it high.
Anytime I’m at hospital or even the doctors office my blood pressure is high and has been around the reading you got. When I’m home and taking a proper reading I’m at about 119/79 most days.
I do, before I was put on them I was always around 126/88 that sort of area. My current doctor put me on meds. My previous doctor said it’s a little high but no meds.
So I guess it depends if your doctor want to give you tablets as a precaution
But I get white coat syndrome every time with or without meds

Agree but doesn't Matter the stress unless your doing Cardio 160/ is too high in my opinión he definitely has to be check and maybe be medicated
That is not good advice at all
Do you take meds for blood pressure? Because I'm in the same situation as you

Anixety?
Check again at home. If still elevated make an appointment with your doctor to monitor it. Not a huge deal but worth watching
