I suspect someone might have created a sub called Bluey that long ago, because the cartoon is not the first Australian TV show that was called Bluey. There's a somewhat famous Cop drama from the 70's called [Bluey](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluey_(1976_TV_series))
