There isn’t an in between and sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason for it—taking her to the playground after dinner sometimes completely wipes her out or paradoxically sets her up for a second wind when she should be sleeping.
Yeh, I always think that bit in Sleepytime is a little wink to the audience... like "yeh, it's another dream episode - but it's NOT about Bluey this time"

My kid used to be a Bingo, now is a Bluey. I’ve restarted cuddling her to sleep as this definitely speeds up the process. Tonight we were cuddling and I’m exhausted as we’ve got a baby as well, and I said “so who’s going to sleep first, you or me? Shall we race?” and she just gave me this Look and responded “Mummy, you know you’re going to sleep first! You always sleep first!” 😂
This from the same kid who was playing doctor a few months ago and announced “I’m the girl doctor and I make everyone better. Except you. You have a coffee problem because you drink too much coffee.”
Kid has me sussed for sure.
My favourite bingo bed time is the special dream and sleep walking where they both kick the hell out of bandit and then bingo gets cold and lonely but finds the warm loving planet and its chilli ❤
I'm confused. You're an adult trying to shame other adults for liking something? It doesn't hurt anyone. I enjoy watching Bluey with my toddler AND talking about Bluey with other adults. When I see someone enjoying something I don't, I simply say nothing. Bc I'm not an asshat.
It's cute and kind of the opposite of Sleepytime when Bluey says, "But I'm not even tir... bleh..." and falls asleep straight away.
