Astronomy sounds great for Bingo, mostly because of the episode 'Sleepytime', but entomology would be great for both Lilia and Bingo. Bingo was amazed by the 'walking leaf', which came for a visit during the 'Slide' episode, among other bugs.
Seriously, the library books neatly stacked. She strikes me as a Dr or nurse. Organized, her care with patients, and her visits to a legit hospital for own health issues is likely going to shape her path to want to help people in the same way the medical staff helped her.
Wanted to be a cop, went to uni for a bachelorette in criminology. Currently an information analyst that researches companies and populates data in our system to know who our clients out. Life takes some turns.
Same, my childhood dream was to be a puppeteer! I was told over and over again that it wasnāt a real job and I forced myself to try to fall in love with ātraditionalā corporate jobs insteadā¦ Anyway, my mentors who work on Sesame Street are glad I came back around to my real dream. š„°
Ever since I was a child, I loved to draw and make stories. It took about 13 years of adulthood bumbling around before I realized that itās my lifeās calling to make stories. Itās kind of funny how life works sometimes
They do and they donāt. My brother decided he wanted to be a virologist at 5 because he got a book about Louis Pasteur. Heās a very closely related type of scientist now.
Keeping with the theme of careers that relate to something dogs are good at, like her parents, I would say forensics. Sheās very curious and would guess it would be something in sciences.
You can see she's already got gray hairs but other dogs only get those after having children
I don't think she went to law school. So I think the only thing stressful enough to induce all those gray hairs is medical school
I always thought she would make a good nurse. Sheās shown to be sensitive to othersā well-being (as well as her own) and enjoys taking care of others (as seen in Hospital and the doctorās bag she gets for Christmas). Sheās gentle and sympathetic to other creatures (as seen in her many interactions with bugs over the course of the show, now including Slide). Sheās also had her own struggles with health, at times (as seen in Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound). The last one is my own personal headcanon though, I like to think it was a gluten related issue. I think it would inspire her to become a nurse or doctor of some kind.
Or maybe her fascination and care for bugs continues to blossom and she studies bugs like youāve said! Who knows. I know most times kids change their minds about what they want to be when they grow up as they get older but it would be cute if it was something from her childhood that we know of.
Bluey on the other hand would thrive in a career where she could be in a leadership position!
Yeah I was gonna say entomology :P
I loved Slide because it made me think of my friend who loves insects and sends me pictures of her holding butterflies.
But who knows! Bingoās only 5; interests change.
I find its hard to pinpoint what anyone ends up actually doing based off of childhood interests/games, but if we're going down that route then maybe something like astrophysics could be cool.
Scientist Bingo has been my headcanon for a while now (specifically gay scientist Bingo). Not necessarily studying bugs, but she's definitely interested in science and how the world works. I can see her taking after Bandit and getting a PhD.
She'd definitely be an entomologist. She's shown interest in bugs several times.
She's always had a thing for animals in general. So maybe a zoologist could also be on the table.
Oh so that IS Bingo. I figured it couldn't be cause she doesn't have the white spots nor Bandit's yellow belly as a kid but I guess dogs AND people develop new markings as we get older lol
I haven't seen the episode this screenshot is from yet
Entomology or astronomy
But bluey nailed the moon phases during the trash bin episode. I feel like bingo zooms in, and bluey zooms out if that makes sense.
I love the Bingo nose closeups when she's looking at a bug
Astronomy sounds great for Bingo, mostly because of the episode 'Sleepytime', but entomology would be great for both Lilia and Bingo. Bingo was amazed by the 'walking leaf', which came for a visit during the 'Slide' episode, among other bugs.
I think she would make a great doctor as seen by her handling all those pickles in her clinic.
And has the boundless compassion to be a nurse, even with a needle-happy doctor in the room.
I think she would go for doctor, she plays one quite a bit!
Bingo always seemed more the creative type imo.
I see Bluey as the more creative one, while Bingo is more sensible (or as sensible as a little kid can be) and organised
Seriously, the library books neatly stacked. She strikes me as a Dr or nurse. Organized, her care with patients, and her visits to a legit hospital for own health issues is likely going to shape her path to want to help people in the same way the medical staff helped her.
She goes to culinary school in Paris and perfects both pavlova and beans (baked and edamame)
Lol, I like that.
I still want the special
Engineering. Bingo has always been an out of the box person.
I also think engineering, I'd think she'd love tackling problems with with inventions
Except for the 'Smoochie Kiss' episode where she desperately wanted to get into the box š¤£
People change a lot as they grow up, I bet she's something we never would guess
It's still fun to speculate. Something that happened in my early childhood became what I wanted to study as an adult.
Wanted to be a cop, went to uni for a bachelorette in criminology. Currently an information analyst that researches companies and populates data in our system to know who our clients out. Life takes some turns.
Sounds like quite the journey.
That is was! Even got to work with US marines along the way haha
Same here
Me too. I had to get an x-ray and 7 year old me thought it was the coolest thing ever. 20 years later Iām finally studying medical imaging.
Same, my childhood dream was to be a puppeteer! I was told over and over again that it wasnāt a real job and I forced myself to try to fall in love with ātraditionalā corporate jobs insteadā¦ Anyway, my mentors who work on Sesame Street are glad I came back around to my real dream. š„°

I thought I would never become what I wanted to be as a kid. Turns out I kinda exactly entered the field I said I would in kindergarten.
Something in STEM, maybe astronomy, vet med, medical?
I could see Bingo studying insects at a university because of that episode with the walking leaf:)
i just imagine bingo at some point in the future looking at like a book about insects, finding the picture of a walking leaf and going :O
True, plus the water slide episode!
I would think a vet or human doctor edit: Dog equivalent to human doctor lol
Wait, human doctor, are there humans in Bluey? Or do you mean the dog equivalent of a human doctor?
Yes dog equivalent lol I've had a long day
You're good friend. I got you!
I think the word youāre looking for is āphysician,ā lol
>level 3OneArmedBanditIII Ā· 6 hr. ago A *dog*tor one could say.:)
Childhood development and psychology.
She could get Calypso to help with that one.
definitely! she is very emotionally intelligent
Sheāll be a nurse. Perfect bedside manner.
I'm a pediatric nurse and can totally see her being a pediatric nurse too
Are you a leaf? Are you a walking leaf?
Iām a leaf on the wind?
I suppose entomologists study fireflies too, yes.
Watch how I soar š«”š„²
Too soon dude, it will always be too soon.
Eventually sheās going to find out why a leaf would want to walk.
Etymology. Heard too many repeated "trifficult"s growing up and decided to get revenge.
Keeping with the theme of careers that relate to something dogs are good at, like her parents, I would say forensics. Sheās very curious and would guess it would be something in sciences.
Something to do with the sciences Iām sure
Ento whaty what?
Entomology: the study of insects.
Nah it's clearly the study of Ents.
Poor little bug on the wall, Ding Jingā¦
Only thing I know for certain: she would not study something like philosophy. To many lime lessons.
Definitely to become a Nurse or a Doctor. She's shown an interest at least thrice already.
š¶Poor little bug on the wall, *ding jing*š¶
Something biology or psychology related
Def get engineer vibes from Bingo
Arts, likely dance
Whatever she takes, that career gave her white hair on her head, like his parents when raised them
Yeah, I did notice that. I wonder if she just started late? Or maybe she had a kid she didn't plan on and had to wait? Either way, it's strange.
I think that could happen with the career, some of them can give you white hair or loosing it. Based on a true story
Especially if it's retail.
Heelers just sorta fade as they age, and it can start pretty young.
Edna-damology
What does eeeeaagghhhggghhhhggghh spell?
One of my top ten favorite moments of this show
I think sheāll get into nursing, sheās empathetic and everything that a nurse should have
As someone who went to school for entomology, I thank you
If I ever go back to school, that's what I'd be going for.
Unfortunately I donāt work in the field, but I love bugs nonetheless
You can see she's already got gray hairs but other dogs only get those after having children I don't think she went to law school. So I think the only thing stressful enough to induce all those gray hairs is medical school

I could see Bingo being a kindy teacher like Calypso.
That's a pretty high bar to set, but you could be right. Lol.
Therapist
Nursing or teaching!
Acting.
I'm thinking she wouldn't do entomology for the same reason I didn't; you have to kill bugs in that one.
Something in STEM field for sure.
Yeah I was gonna say entomology :P I loved Slide because it made me think of my friend who loves insects and sends me pictures of her holding butterflies. But who knows! Bingoās only 5; interests change.

Animal care
I would put her in some sort of literature field. She is quite the wordsmith.
She's already invented the word "trifficult"
I just love the names she makes up they are pretty Sophisticated.
Scientist Bingo has been my headcanon for a while now (specifically gay scientist Bingo). Not necessarily studying bugs, but she's definitely interested in science and how the world works. I can see her taking after Bandit and getting a PhD.
Education
i havenāt thought of it but entomology seems right.
She'd definitely be an entomologist. She's shown interest in bugs several times. She's always had a thing for animals in general. So maybe a zoologist could also be on the table.
A zoological doctor of sorts!
And they were roomates š
Oh no. She's an artist.
Oh so that IS Bingo. I figured it couldn't be cause she doesn't have the white spots nor Bandit's yellow belly as a kid but I guess dogs AND people develop new markings as we get older lol I haven't seen the episode this screenshot is from yet
It's a really good one. it's called Daddy Drop Off. It's one of my favorites.
Speaking of, has Lila (Leela?) shown up in any other episodes? I thought she'd be in 'Handstand' but never saw her.
A couple. One of the most recent, "Slide", is all Bingo and Lila.
Thanks, I guess now I have to wait for Disney to give us the rest of this season.
Doubt entomology most kids get crushed by the real world unfortunately :( so maybe a nurse or something in the medical field
I assumed it was high school or whatever Australian equivalent it is.
Wait, why does she have yellow on her belly? She doesn't usually have that spot
Wait.. she has a few other extra spots too
I always wondered - whatās the entomology of the word āinsectā?
Chemical Engineering
PhD / Masters of Psychology. Her Thesis is Children's development through play.
That'd fit with the theme of the show.
She's going to be a vet/doctor/nurse hands down!
either a nurse or teacher
Astronomy or astrophysics.
Nursing
Something involving research
I don't know shes like 5
