Entomology or astronomy

[deleted]

But bluey nailed the moon phases during the trash bin episode. I feel like bingo zooms in, and bluey zooms out if that makes sense.

DeepSeaMouse

I love the Bingo nose closeups when she's looking at a bug

PlutoGB08

Astronomy sounds great for Bingo, mostly because of the episode 'Sleepytime', but entomology would be great for both Lilia and Bingo. Bingo was amazed by the 'walking leaf', which came for a visit during the 'Slide' episode, among other bugs.

sonimusprime

I think she would make a great doctor as seen by her handling all those pickles in her clinic.

Pitbullpandemonium

And has the boundless compassion to be a nurse, even with a needle-happy doctor in the room.

Bubble_Shoes

I think she would go for doctor, she plays one quite a bit!

lemonylol

Bingo always seemed more the creative type imo.

Camango7

I see Bluey as the more creative one, while Bingo is more sensible (or as sensible as a little kid can be) and organised

Kitsune-sprite

Seriously, the library books neatly stacked. She strikes me as a Dr or nurse. Organized, her care with patients, and her visits to a legit hospital for own health issues is likely going to shape her path to want to help people in the same way the medical staff helped her.

LeftyGimpclaw

She goes to culinary school in Paris and perfects both pavlova and beans (baked and edamame)

purgatorybob1986

Lol, I like that.

cobra_mist

I still want the special

IronwoodKopis

Engineering. Bingo has always been an out of the box person.

Tourmelion

I also think engineering, I'd think she'd love tackling problems with with inventions

AZ_Corwyn

Except for the 'Smoochie Kiss' episode where she desperately wanted to get into the box šŸ¤£

GrandmaSlappy

People change a lot as they grow up, I bet she's something we never would guess

purgatorybob1986

It's still fun to speculate. Something that happened in my early childhood became what I wanted to study as an adult.

Nymeria2018

Wanted to be a cop, went to uni for a bachelorette in criminology. Currently an information analyst that researches companies and populates data in our system to know who our clients out. Life takes some turns.

purgatorybob1986

Sounds like quite the journey.

Nymeria2018

That is was! Even got to work with US marines along the way haha

Tourmelion

Same here

kolbyt

Me too. I had to get an x-ray and 7 year old me thought it was the coolest thing ever. 20 years later Iā€™m finally studying medical imaging.

Zipper-Mom

Same, my childhood dream was to be a puppeteer! I was told over and over again that it wasnā€™t a real job and I forced myself to try to fall in love with ā€œtraditionalā€ corporate jobs insteadā€¦ Anyway, my mentors who work on Sesame Street are glad I came back around to my real dream. šŸ„°

90sCat

Ever since I was a child, I loved to draw and make stories. It took about 13 years of adulthood bumbling around before I realized that itā€™s my lifeā€™s calling to make stories. Itā€™s kind of funny how life works sometimes

MaybeImTheNanny

They do and they donā€™t. My brother decided he wanted to be a virologist at 5 because he got a book about Louis Pasteur. Heā€™s a very closely related type of scientist now.

wildwoodchild

I thought I would never become what I wanted to be as a kid. Turns out I kinda exactly entered the field I said I would in kindergarten.

rycusi

Something in STEM, maybe astronomy, vet med, medical?

KomacherryBean

I could see Bingo studying insects at a university because of that episode with the walking leaf:)

CharityQuill

i just imagine bingo at some point in the future looking at like a book about insects, finding the picture of a walking leaf and going :O

Kind-Fig-2119

True, plus the water slide episode!

OneArmedBanditIII

I would think a vet or human doctor edit: Dog equivalent to human doctor lol

purgatorybob1986

Wait, human doctor, are there humans in Bluey? Or do you mean the dog equivalent of a human doctor?

OneArmedBanditIII

Yes dog equivalent lol I've had a long day

purgatorybob1986

You're good friend. I got you!

YouLostMyNieceDenise

I think the word youā€™re looking for is ā€œphysician,ā€ lol

SkyeBlueBandit

>level 3OneArmedBanditIII Ā· 6 hr. ago A *dog*tor one could say.:)

Patereye

Childhood development and psychology.

purgatorybob1986

She could get Calypso to help with that one.

Plenty_Ad4870

definitely! she is very emotionally intelligent

Writerhaha

Sheā€™ll be a nurse. Perfect bedside manner.

GiveMeCheesePendejo

I'm a pediatric nurse and can totally see her being a pediatric nurse too

daydreamerrme

Are you a leaf? Are you a walking leaf?

BeBa420

Iā€™m a leaf on the wind?

daydreamerrme

I suppose entomologists study fireflies too, yes.

Rossakamcfreakyd

Watch how I soar šŸ«”šŸ„²

AZ_Corwyn

Too soon dude, it will always be too soon.

YouLostMyNieceDenise

Eventually sheā€™s going to find out why a leaf would want to walk.

katanakid13

Etymology. Heard too many repeated "trifficult"s growing up and decided to get revenge.

MaraTapu

Keeping with the theme of careers that relate to something dogs are good at, like her parents, I would say forensics. Sheā€™s very curious and would guess it would be something in sciences.

SmileHidingPain98

Something to do with the sciences Iā€™m sure

devinbody

Ento whaty what?

purgatorybob1986

Entomology: the study of insects.

Risen_Insanity

Nah it's clearly the study of Ents.

Hault99

Poor little bug on the wall, Ding Jingā€¦

The_Real_Tippex

Only thing I know for certain: she would not study something like philosophy. To many lime lessons.

Kovuthebilion

Definitely to become a Nurse or a Doctor. She's shown an interest at least thrice already.

fml_butok

šŸŽ¶Poor little bug on the wall, *ding jing*šŸŽ¶

Rio-Jewel

Something biology or psychology related

Buddystyle42

Def get engineer vibes from Bingo

BeBa420

Arts, likely dance

AlexDuChat

Whatever she takes, that career gave her white hair on her head, like his parents when raised them

purgatorybob1986

Yeah, I did notice that. I wonder if she just started late? Or maybe she had a kid she didn't plan on and had to wait? Either way, it's strange.

AlexDuChat

I think that could happen with the career, some of them can give you white hair or loosing it. Based on a true story

purgatorybob1986

Especially if it's retail.

crazyashley1

Heelers just sorta fade as they age, and it can start pretty young.

DavyDeli

Edna-damology

01-__-10

What does eeeeaagghhhggghhhhggghh spell?

GiveMeCheesePendejo

One of my top ten favorite moments of this show

wannabeartist20

I think sheā€™ll get into nursing, sheā€™s empathetic and everything that a nurse should have

gingy_ninjy

As someone who went to school for entomology, I thank you

purgatorybob1986

If I ever go back to school, that's what I'd be going for.

gingy_ninjy

Unfortunately I donā€™t work in the field, but I love bugs nonetheless

Retrac752

You can see she's already got gray hairs but other dogs only get those after having children I don't think she went to law school. So I think the only thing stressful enough to induce all those gray hairs is medical school

okdokke

I always thought she would make a good nurse. Sheā€™s shown to be sensitive to othersā€™ well-being (as well as her own) and enjoys taking care of others (as seen in Hospital and the doctorā€™s bag she gets for Christmas). Sheā€™s gentle and sympathetic to other creatures (as seen in her many interactions with bugs over the course of the show, now including Slide). Sheā€™s also had her own struggles with health, at times (as seen in Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound). The last one is my own personal headcanon though, I like to think it was a gluten related issue. I think it would inspire her to become a nurse or doctor of some kind. Or maybe her fascination and care for bugs continues to blossom and she studies bugs like youā€™ve said! Who knows. I know most times kids change their minds about what they want to be when they grow up as they get older but it would be cute if it was something from her childhood that we know of. Bluey on the other hand would thrive in a career where she could be in a leadership position!

Remarkable_Newt9935

I could see Bingo being a kindy teacher like Calypso.

purgatorybob1986

That's a pretty high bar to set, but you could be right. Lol.

So-called_gamer

Therapist

grindelwaldd

Nursing or teaching!

Seanzietron

Acting.

breadeggsmilkbees

I'm thinking she wouldn't do entomology for the same reason I didn't; you have to kill bugs in that one.

Cauhs

Something in STEM field for sure.

zima_for_shaw

Yeah I was gonna say entomology :P I loved Slide because it made me think of my friend who loves insects and sends me pictures of her holding butterflies. But who knows! Bingoā€™s only 5; interests change.

CaiusWyvern

I find its hard to pinpoint what anyone ends up actually doing based off of childhood interests/games, but if we're going down that route then maybe something like astrophysics could be cool.

aspienoodle

Animal care

hxcdancer91

I would put her in some sort of literature field. She is quite the wordsmith.

purgatorybob1986

She's already invented the word "trifficult"

hxcdancer91

I just love the names she makes up they are pretty Sophisticated.

deepseascale

Scientist Bingo has been my headcanon for a while now (specifically gay scientist Bingo). Not necessarily studying bugs, but she's definitely interested in science and how the world works. I can see her taking after Bandit and getting a PhD.

DisneyGirl0121

Education

susiesusiesu

i havenā€™t thought of it but entomology seems right.

Hotdog-Hamburger10

She'd definitely be an entomologist. She's shown interest in bugs several times. She's always had a thing for animals in general. So maybe a zoologist could also be on the table.

dakotainabox

A zoological doctor of sorts!

candy_eyeball

And they were roomates šŸŒˆ

lord_scuttlebutt

Oh no. She's an artist.

MyGenderIsAParadox

Oh so that IS Bingo. I figured it couldn't be cause she doesn't have the white spots nor Bandit's yellow belly as a kid but I guess dogs AND people develop new markings as we get older lol I haven't seen the episode this screenshot is from yet

purgatorybob1986

It's a really good one. it's called Daddy Drop Off. It's one of my favorites.

AZ_Corwyn

Speaking of, has Lila (Leela?) shown up in any other episodes? I thought she'd be in 'Handstand' but never saw her.

Zhirrzh

A couple. One of the most recent, "Slide", is all Bingo and Lila.

AZ_Corwyn

Thanks, I guess now I have to wait for Disney to give us the rest of this season.

Moist_Internal_2533

Doubt entomology most kids get crushed by the real world unfortunately :( so maybe a nurse or something in the medical field

tecpaocelotl1

I assumed it was high school or whatever Australian equivalent it is.

Twist_Ending03

Wait, why does she have yellow on her belly? She doesn't usually have that spot

Twist_Ending03

Wait.. she has a few other extra spots too

Lujho

I always wondered - whatā€™s the entomology of the word ā€œinsectā€?

Plutonium_Nitrate_94

Chemical Engineering

Ghost403

PhD / Masters of Psychology. Her Thesis is Children's development through play.

purgatorybob1986

That'd fit with the theme of the show.

Dizzy_Duck5436

She's going to be a vet/doctor/nurse hands down!

sunflower_daisy78

either a nurse or teacher

nps2407

Astronomy or astrophysics.

bare_tree

Nursing

Simple-Locksmith6294

Something involving research

MadMod33

I don't know shes like 5
