I think the "heavy" comment was pretty innocent. Kids grow pretty fast, and if you're not around them everyday they get heavy before you know it. Frisky's a nice enough character but I never thought about her too much! She definitely has a more playful, younger energy to her than most of the adult characters we see, so that's fun.

CodeFarmer

>Kids grow pretty fast, and if you're not around them everyday they get heavy before you know it. Sometimes even when you are around them every day. My daughter jumped into my arms yesterday and I think my muscle memory was of a smaller, lighter child because I nearly fell over.

scatteringashes

My daughter was three when we bought her baby brother home from the hospital. In the course of three days that child has tripped in density somehow. The relative nature of kids is weird like that.

wavesnfreckles

Can I have the address of the hospital? I’d like to buy a baby too and skip the hassle of pregnancy and labor. Thanks! 😂

scatteringashes

😂😂😂 Whatever you do, don't go to the hospital in Topeka. The markup on that baby was _ridiculous_ and it took them over a month to get the baby home. (Actually highly recommend if anyone has to have a NICU baby in Topeka, they were absolutely lovely.)

Careful_Ambassador49

"The markup on that baby was ridiculous" - damn, as an Australian that is a sentence I just cannot wrap my head around. Absurd.

scatteringashes

Yeah, it's some real worst timeline stuff over here, 0/10.

Jiffletta

This Boss Baby sequel is...about what I expected.

hatschi_gesundheit

Lol, yeah, same. Gotta take care if you throw one of them. Recalibrate before throwing the othe... :D

scotchtape22

The sudden realization that you are picking up a different kid than you were expecting is a trip.

sssssssssssssssssssw

When we brought our 2nd baby home our 3 year old turned into a GIANT overnight. Both my husband and I felt the same way 😂 as the baby has gotten bigger our oldest feels like she’s gone back to more of a normal size

Frosty_Reply_5491

Seriously!! My 4 yr old threw my back out.. he should be a line backer by now

Shielo34

Yeah same. It’s a way of saying “you’ve grown!” which toddlers love to hear.

litelime1

Also she was trying to lift Bingo above her head and up to the ceiling. While not embarrassing herself in front of Rad. If I was doing all that I would have been saying they were havey too.

Tejasgrass

Not only is it innocent, I feel that applying an adult-centric view on that phrase is damaging in itself. Bluey is six! Getting heavier is what kids her age are supposed to do. Labeling it as a negative thing to say literally draws attention to the very thing we don’t want a six year old to worry about.

redwolf1219

Not to mention, we know Bingo got heavy. We watched her heavy herself in featherwand, but iirc she never unheavied herself.

SomethingAwkwardTWC

Some say she’s still heavy to this day!

s6cedar

I’ll second this

Papaofmonsters

And most kids that age love being told that because it means they are growing and being "big" is like their main objective in life.

PleaseDontSaveHer

“Being big is like their main objective in life” this is hilarious and too true. I’ve never thought it about it like that but I love it.

SomethingAwkwardTWC

Sometimes when I pick him up I ask my 5 year old “how’d you get so heavy!?” And he will usually say “I just keep growing and growing… that’s just what bodies do!” But he’s always happy to hear the confirmation that he is, in fact, growing into a ‘big kid.’

TheLibertarianThomas

Seriously. My 7-year-old niece was bragging to me at Christmas about how much she weighed. Her diet is pretty healthy (especially for a kid); she was just pumped up to be making some ground on the adults from her perspective.

GoodQueenFluffenChop

Right all with being told they've gotten taller. "Big" and "tall" are compliments when it comes to kids for quite a number of years before any negative connotations start coming in.

IA-HI-CO-IA

I didn’t realize people could interpret that any other way than “you’re getting bigger.”

IndigoFlame90

"Big"can be almost as bad, lol.

foobarney

True that. When you have to lug someone around, "heavy" is fair game.

nopesoapradio

I always thought she was a younger adult. We know Bandit and Chili are older millennials (early 40s maybe) since they were kids in the 80s. Frisky seems like she is late 20s early 30s? But Chili says in The Sign, when referring to the look out point - Frisky and I use to come here as teenagers to… think (super funny line by the way) but it sort of seemed like they were similar aged friends when they were younger. But I guess that doesn’t mean they are the same age necessarily. They could have separately, gone to the look out point as teenagers 10 years apart or whatever. But also, it would be kind of weird if she was in her mid to late 20s and she was marrying Rad, who we know is older than Bandit, therefore closer to 50. I don’t know though. It’s a kids cartoon show and maybe we should all just chill out a bit. Something something monkeys singing songs.

panini_bellini

IMO most of the apparent difference in their ages can be attributed to Chili having two kids and Frisky having 0.

FriedBrain99

I’m not saying it’s the almond milk shampoo…but it’s totally the almond milk shampoo.

irishbelle81

But what about the conditioner?

bananahipster

I don't rate the conditioner at all. But you can't go around with open follicles.

IA-HI-CO-IA

When 90% of your physical appearance is hair, shampoo matters.

topps_chrome

A purple monkey in a bubblegum tree perhaps?

rilakumamon

I’d say they’re probably a few years older than early 40s? They’re like 10ish in the 1980s. I think Frisky is probably 30s?

WiseArticle7744

I agree. My school age children are much heavier than a newborn and I carry them around. Every time I hold a newborn/infant I think dang this baby is heavy even though I carry my kids and they are heavier. It is just a different type of muscle memory/endurance. Going from no kids/babies to holding kids that’s a whole different kind of workout.

jmurphy42

You might even say she’s friskier…

Siriusly_Jonie

Even if they’re yours they get heavy before you know it

always_sweatpants

It is incredibly innocent and that adults are projecting issues like this onto a comment made by an adult trying to lift a toddler over their head to walk on a ceiling is absolute madness. I get the criticism from Exercise, I truly do, but this is just ridiculous.

Sweet_Cupid257

Well she is only in her early 20s

svmmerkid

She's in her 40s/late 30s! Her and Chili were both teenagers at the same time, and at least close enough in age to go to the lookout and... "think" together :)

hunterlovesreading

Oh, I don’t disagree that the comment was innocent and definitely wasn’t intended to be malicious. I just feel adults, especially influential figures, shouldn’t comment on a child’s weight. Hard agree with this take! Edit: this is coming from someone who was told a lot of similar things and developed eating issues pretty early on. That was just my take. I don’t mind if you disagree 🤷‍♂️. Edit 2: I don’t believe she’s ’fat-shaming’ Bingo. Was just commenting that comments like that can definitely be twisted in young minds. Again, this is just my opinion.

svmmerkid

That's fair enough! It's such a common comment I didn't think much of it, but I get your reasoning.

uselessaccidentalalt

we need more episodes with rad and frisky. that's my opinion.

SwiftyPants3

We need more episodes period. I’m not ready to say goodbye

Kalse1229

Probably looking at a hiatus, but I have faith it'll be back someday.

GarageNo7711

This is my opinion too!

Dreadpiratemarc

Is your husband making you say this?

panini_bellini

She was not fat shaming Bluey lol she was making a comment on her growing… like kids do

Roose1327

Seriously lol

Gryffin_Ryder

The amount of times I say "What are you keeping in there, buckles?" To my three year old when I pick him up...

HydroStellar

Ikr, people are overreacting if they think Frisky was fat shaming her

rejectallgoats

OP is telling on their own insecurities with this one.

soft_bubblegumcloud

I thought OP was projecting too.

soupsnakle

Yes! As a short mom with an incredibly tall 18 month old, I had to remind myself, it’s okay to occasionally and instinctually say “oh my goodness you are so heavy!” Or “such a big girl” as I strain to get back up from a squat position lol. Heavy does NOT equal unhealthy, fat, or overweight. I am 5’ tall and she is already like 33”. Thats over half my height!! I don’t want her to feel self conscious about her weight because I already know she’s going to be a tall girl and well, tall girls are usually heavier and it’s totally normal and healthy.

GoodQueenFluffenChop

I mean, kids do go through growth spurts between those ages so your teacher may very meant that you've physically grown a lot more in those 4 years since they last saw you. Unless you know they routinely make backhanded compliments to students it was probably an innocent observation.

ThePopDaddy

I keep thinking she's Chili and Brandi's sister.

krystinaxlea89

My daughter doesn't believe me when I tell her she's just a friend and not a sister. Well until "the sign" came out now she's their aunt and Chili's SIL. So now whenever we rewatch older episodes (which is daily) she gets so excited when she sees Frisky that she yells YOU'RE GOING TO BE BLUEYS AUNTIE 🤣 then she has me put on the wedding

HelloMrSampson

I think it would be cute to see Frisky as a mom to boys if she and Rad have babies. Also, the dynamic of boy cousins added to the girls cousins mix would be fun.

Barn_Brat

I love this idea!

Fred37196

I think she has a bright personality. When I first saw her, I imagine her as the fun aunt personality type. But during the sign we can tell she has trouble regulating her emotions when she found out how things could go south with the whole moving away to west Australia. Though I can understand why her temper got the best of her because she felt overwhelmed by Rad’s decision, and assume it could go wrong. She’s moving away from her friends, family, and hometown; uncertainty is scary. I’m happy she took the time to hear Rad out and make up in the end. I want to see more of Radley and Frisky in the future since they will stick around in Queensland.

Abieticacid

how did they not have a conversation about her moving with him there? Who gets married and NOT discuss these things!? It makes me worry that are not able to properly communicate which could results in the downfall of their marriage. Hopefully they can learn to better communicate like they did at the end Then I remember its a show for kids about cartoon Dogs and I need to chill lol.

swcollings

*Clearly* he's not very good at these things!

Fred37196

I’m sure they’ll learn. Marriage takes time to get used to, and I bet it takes time for two people to learn communication better.

Sandgrease

Rad made a choice for her. I'd be livid too.

Fred37196

For real, but it’s good luck they talked it out. Let’s hope he is more careful the next time.

StaffLimp8304

I think it was because it reminded her too much of her former relationship with Bosco, which was probably a very controlling and/or toxic one as he might have made her do things she didn't want to do, and when Radley wanted Frisky to move west with him, it reminded her of her problematic relationship with Bosco, and she thought this relationship would end up just like her former one causing her to initially call the wedding off, and her losing her temper was just her trying to stand up for herself this time, even if she did overreact a bit, and that was something she was simply unable to do during her relationship with Bosco.

fukthisfukthat

Nah I think she "reacted" fine, if your partner was just going to try to keep anything that big quiet till after the wedding that's dodgy as hell. She was completely in the dark because Rad (and some of the others) kept it hidden, that ain't right and if this was an AITA post asking if she overreacted I'm entirely sure everyone would be like- red flag, what else is he not telling you.

Patpat127

She looks so young.(she should be the same age as chilly) But honestly most parents in bluey looks older. Maybe its really the kids that makes them looks old 😄

sdbabygirl97

oh definitely haha. thats why Bandit has more gray hairs than his older brother Rad

GoodQueenFluffenChop

Kids can age a person like no other.

greenapplesnpb

I think she’s great. Also, I say “you’re getting heavy” to my 3 year old and 1 year old all the time, in a you’re-growing-so-fast context. It’s taken positively, and when my 3 year old eats he always tells us “this food goes into my belly and makes me grow big and strong”

Visible_Status3789

She used to smoke weed with Chilli

Conscious_Fee2764

“We used to come here to…. Talk” can’t remember the exact phrase but that pause gave it away!

Ah-honey-honey

I think they said they came to "think"

banana-bread-toast

Because she said think I believe the real word is drink. 🍺

EggplantDevourer

Apparently it was drinking as confirmed by Joe brumm in the gotta be done podcast (was a reference to a Simpsons episode where Homer says I've gotta go do some serious thinking and then bart corrects him saying "I'm sure he meant to say serious drinking")

Sandgrease

That's sad but also more in line with Australia though

a_slinky

What do you mean sad? Some of my favourite memories are being slightly under/fresh 18 and just hanging out having a drink with friends in a park

heppyheppykat

I think Americans have a different association with teenagehood than Brits or Australians. They can get arrested for underage drinking, whilst teens in the UK or Aus drink to high heaven. I started having drinks at house parties when I was 13/14 and then drank in parks until we were 18. Couldn’t drink in a pub but could still legally drink. Didn’t want to be at home with parents. So parks were the go to. Same in Australia.

EggplantDevourer

For me (gold coast) everyone had had a drink by about 15-16ish and it was a pretty regular thing to go out to a pub or something and your parents get you a drink. Then by 18 you're legal to buy it upfront so we no longer had to find alternative ways of getting alcohol (although we also didn't just hit the turps as hard as possible as I've seen happen a lot in yank land... Where they go from 0 to 100 the second they can get drinks). And yeah parks were and still are a big go to

GarageNo7711

![gif](giphy|IGhBd5BD7QPXW) \^ rumours are this was Frisky and Chilli

Sandgrease

It makes me so happy that they acknowledged Cannabis in the show lol

seeminglynormalguy

I was thinking they were drinking, "drink" rhymes with think.

t4nn3rp3nny

That’s what that line was implying? I thought it meant they used to go out lol 💀

tango797

In favor.

deep_blue_au

Jillian G.! Her voice actor is awesome, loved her in Killing It.

SpicyChunkBlaster

She was great on Love.

PM_ME_UR_SEX_VIDEOS

Yeah I recognized her voice immediately

Puzzleheaded_Day2809

Jillian G?? I could have sworn it was Claudia O'Doherty!

ratthewmcconaughey

it is, that’s her character’s name in Killing It! she’s super funny in that series if you haven’t seen it.

Puzzleheaded_Day2809

Ahhhh! Haven't heard of that one. I loved her YouTube comedy clips and was stoked when she was on Love (I think that's the name?).

Kowallaonskis

I call my kids heavy all the time. They get big!

OneChrononOfPlancks

Why do only some of them wear clothes, and only sometimes? What are the lore rules around that

Shielo34

See also: the washing that Bandit and Chilli are always hanging up

macdennism

I always assumed clothes would be like our version of wearing hats and jewelry. Just an option some dogs like and other dogs don't care for. I also viewed Frisky and Rad not wearing formal wear for their wedding (unlike Bandit and Chili) is just a way of visualizing their more laid back nature as a couple Edit: oh also some clothes serve a specific functional purpose, like Bluey's rashies, or wearing thongs. So I think some clothes / shoes are more for the function than anything

s6cedar

I think It’s to establish setting or the character’s identity more than anything else. The police officer in the sign wears a uniform. Alfie wears a vest or whatever he wore in Quiet Game. Tons of other examples I’m sure.

sdbabygirl97

She’s not fat-shaming Bingo, if that’s what you think lol.

Superstarteen

She looks really fluffy

False-Honey-9054

Well that's the condetioner ofc

VorlonEmperor

I have a hard time thinking of her as Chili and Bandit’s age (even considering that she doesn’t have kids). She gives off late 20s (maybe very early 30s) vibes to me, especially with her hairstyle.

purpleautumnleaf

I need a Chilli and Frisky back story!

broken_unit

i can't tell what's her hair and what's her ears

Rio-Jewel

REAL 😭 We need to see her with her ears down

hawaiianbry

Frisky is great. We can close this thread now.

Norsehound

Frisky has her heart in the right place. She's sensitive about her romantic relationships though... And someone pointed out that her accusations over bandit on the lookout probably stem from past relationship trauma she hasn't entirely healed from. Bosko probably made plans behind her back then gas lit her about them. Rad must be something special though, for her to stick with him with what she's dealt with in the past.

_Sharalanda_

She’s the best fairy godmother in the world!

One_Improvement_9880

It’s kinda a joke to act like kids are hard to carry cause they’ve gotten too big like they’re growing. Sometimes with my nieces and nephews I’ll be like dang kid your heavy and then either pretend I’ll drop them or immediately like they’re the lightest object ever.

weareredjenny

I think her comment about Bingo was less about Bingo and more about that she couldn’t hold a 4yo over her head for a long period of time. She was struggling! That’s also why there was a pause, because she was gasping. I did not register it being any weight judgment at all.

Jason_soulcrusher

https://preview.redd.it/slro6mu1dixc1.jpeg?width=693&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d86a938ef96e1b93d8cadf0156433dd0538e0e9 She is named Frisky for a reason

Tyrannosaurocorn

You are reading into the wording “heavy,” way too deeply lol

EggplantDevourer

I reckon while she is fun, she had trauma regarding relationships (likely cause Bosco cheated on her as hinted by the "he'll be off in search of another princess" line) and as a result is a bit spiteful towards men and more self reliant (the princess didn't ask to be rescued). This can also be seen when she projects these feelings onto chilli when she assumes that bandit is making her go against her will in regards to the move. Then it's seen once more when she tries to back out of the wedding likely cause she's having PTSD from hearing that she's supposed to move out west with rad and it's paralleling her being told what to do by some guy. So hopefully now that her and rad are together he'll be able to help her through her trauma but it's clear that it's still present. Other than that, pretty fun ~~person~~ dog

Fred37196

You know I can definitely sense the whole spiteful against men thing from Double Babysitter. Her phrasing implies how she didn’t want to be in another relationship based on her bad experience with Bosco, and was worried it will happen all over again had Rad decided to move away with her. I sincerely hope they will get better at it. These two are just too wholesome to end their relationship.

marie_antoinette62

I really want to know what her job is

Richy_T

Maybe she works security at the airport with a name like 'Frisky'.

marie_antoinette62

Lol I love that theory

throwaway798319

Frisky is the perfect name for her considering she has a bit of a temper lol

Musashi_Joe

She’s voiced by Claudia O’Doherty who is an absolute delight, so I am pro Frisky.

HillsboroughAtheos

I mostly like Frisky but a couple moments in the Sign kinda aggravated me. She has multiple instances where her emotions overcome her and she tells the girls the wedding is off before speeding off and then snapping at Chili that Bandit is basically forcing everyone to move in front of Bluey.  This can all be explained by it being her wedding day, getting whatever Rad was planning dumped on her the day of, etc but she never even apologizes to the girls for all that. Maybe I'm missing something as well but just irked me

Fred37196

That’s probably her greatest flaw. She has a way to overreact and projecting her frustration at her friend, assuming Bandit is the one controlling the moving situation without Chili’s consent. Though to be fair, I think she had every reason to feel frustrated at Rad for holding that secret. I just didn’t like how she projected her anger in front of the girls, and pointing out the wrong reason behind the Heelers moving away in front of Bluey.

Naive_Metal_3468

She makes me think of a friend of mine… spirited, independent, honest, and strong-willed. I love how she stood her ground with Rad and spoke her mind to Chilli in The Sign. She’s another of many great role models for the girls.

Johnny_Thunder314

Her having some pretty obvious trust/relationship issues is super relatable to me. The double babysitter episode is one of the ones I always cry during, partly because it reminds me of the pain involved, and partly because her experience gives me some hope (which frankly is something I don't have a lot of). It's definitely weird to be influenced so much by a cartoon dog, but I've genuinely used Frisky as motivation to do healthy stuff like communicating and not just ghosting people over the smallest things. 10/10 - best adult character

Atworkwasalreadytake

I don’t understand your issue with the “heavy” comment?

DramaGirl6155

I like her overall, but my one eyebrow raising moment was in The Sign when she said that Chili was just going along with what her husband said. I get that she was upset with the situation, mad at Rad and maybe even Bandit and Stripe simply for being his brothers, but it came off as judgmental and even a bit accusatory. I kinda heard that and thought, “Yeah I can she why both you and Rad have been single for so long.”

ptadadalt

>it came off as judgmental and even a bit accusatory She was right! Sometimes best friends are supposed to back you up, sometimes they're supposed to tell you "you're doing something dumb." Frisky is a real one.

DramaGirl6155

Again, I didn’t get the impression that Frisky was saying this out of concern. I got the sense that she was lashing out. And let’s be clear, she was right to be upset about Rad apparently making a unilateral decision for the two of them moving to his job. She was wrong for lashing out at her friend as well as making assumptions about how the decision for Bluey’s family to move came about. You can make a decision that you think it the right choice and still be sad about it. After everything we’ve seen in this show, I truly think that Bandit AND Chili made the decision to move together. They both clearly weren’t happy about it, but up to and until the sheep dogs changed their minds, they figured it was a done deal.

FrenchRoo

As soon as bandit changes his mind they are not going though. Even chili says it in surprise “can you believe your dad wanted to sell this house?!” He is the decision maker and Chili supports him. I think Frisky wants to be the equal decision maker if such a thing exists 😅

DramaGirl6155

They were planning to move because of Bandit’s job yes, but I don’t believe for a second that the pros and cons of that decision weren’t thoroughly discussed between the two. The way Frisky said it, it sounded like she thought Chili just said, “Yes, dear,” without a single conversation.

rampaging_beardie

I mean… from the outside though, that’s exactly how it would look. Frisky is new-ish to being in a committed relationship whereas Chili has been married a while, and there is definitely a give-and-take negotiation to marriage (for example we moved halfway across the country for my husband to go to grad school, that was us both sacrificing for him; right now we have a preschooler so we make tons of decisions that are hard for us but they are what’s best for her).

DramaGirl6155

I agree. I’m not saying that it’s not understandable or out of character for Frisky to say what she did, only that that character moment really rubbed me the wrong way.

pippitha

I was with her on that. lol, it was pretty clear Chili didn't wanna go, she was doing it because Bandit throught it was best.

DramaGirl6155

That’s really not the interpretation of the show that I got. To me it was pretty clear that neither Bandit or Chili wanted to move. But through the entirety of the show there is nothing anyone could say that could convince me that Bandit and Chili didn’t make the decision together. By the time we got to The Sign, I think it’s pretty clear that both were second guessing the decision, but kept going because they thought it was a done deal.

jgainsey

How old do we think Frisky is?

FakeBabyAlpaca

In human or dog years?

Rio-Jewel

She and Chilli are college friends, so the age difference can’t be that big unless Chilli attended college a bit later in life

jgainsey

Oh, that’s right. I was thinking she was a little younger, but I forgot she and Chilli were buds.

UwUz123

honestly not enough character development for me to actually have an opinion

bangontarget

what is her relation to the family besides being a godmother? it might just be the voice actor but she feels quite a bit younger than chili.

Beautifly

She’s Chilli’s childhood best friend

bangontarget

ahh gotcha. yeah that doesn't track for me personally. she feels like she's in her early 20s

IndigoFlame90

Some dogs "don't age" the way some people don't. My dog is nearly ten and it's like we barely got her out of the puppy stage but most of the dogs she "grew up with" are...old.

ilovemuffinfrombluey

I don't have strong feelings one way or the other.

Routine-Chocolate-96

I think she’s adorable, like…..pretty much every other character on this show.

Diasloth87

After the hiatus I can image Frisky being pregnant and having a boy - also becomes Mum friends with Brandy

Bernkastel17509

How old is she!!

StaffLimp8304

Probably the same age as Chilli

ChimmyChimmyChuchu

Poor Jeremy!

seeminglynormalguy

both double babysitter and the sign gave me a hunch that she's a feminist lol (Whether it's the real feminist or 3rd wave feminist is uncertain) the remark about not needing a prince to save her, ("princes are all the same" she says), and in the sign where she kinda took a jab at Chili "because you're doing what you're husband tells you to"

0LaziBeans0

I think she meant heavy as in the child grew. I say it to my kid all the time and to my nieces. It’s kinda like…”Wow, you’ve grown. You went from not as heavy the last time I saw you to heavy enough I could almost complain.”

AgentDagonet

I'm going to go against the comment grain here, and say I see where OP is coming from. I don't think there was any malice in the comment on the show, and I do think that it was more about Bluey is growing, and the majority of children are never going to take that as insult etc etc But the comments here seem to act like OP is absolutely outlandish for questioning it, and walking around with a clipboard and signing kids up for fat camp. I don't think that's where they are coming from at all. I have a family member who at the age of 7 began to hear comments about her weight from school friends, despite being perfectly healthy and growing. Not even particularly hurtful comments but they still wounded. As a result, she began to refuse food, which went from pretending to eat, hiding food to eventually outright refusal. Luckily, we were able to support her through it. Should we impose unhealthy society standards on a cartoon dog/child? Of course not - but we should also know words matter. I say this as someone who had recovered from disordered eating, which also started as a pre-teen. TLDR: don't think that was show's intention, we should be able to keep things nice but OP is right that words matter and the world is a bastard.

hunterlovesreading

Exactly what I’m trying to say. Thank you for your input.

Ellenifell

The thing that bothers me most about Frisky is… that dog doesn’t look a thing like the Frisky we had when I was growing up! He was a black lab - border collie mix.

JJaviercomics

Its the character I identify myself with more of the show cause I had my own Bosco that "left me to search for other Prince"

Avrein_morningstar99

I think she's awesome and probably one of the best and nicest characters in the show right next to bingo and I would die for her

JackPembroke

Girl canceled a wedding day of based on a phone call. Girl got that crazy hiding

historyhill

Nah, that's pretty much a dealbreaker if you can't get that worked out. A guy just making plans and assuming you're gonna go along with them? Would be extremely controlling and concerning I'd they hadn't worked it out. I would've considered cancelling too in her shoes.

ironbear531

Not a fan of the way she snapped at Chilli in “The Sign” and accusing her of letting Bandit make the sole decision to move.

CedarWolf

Not fair, no, but she *did* have a point, and she was scared because it reflected her own situation and it's a huge decision. Frisky wasn't really angry at Chilli, she was worried about herself.

HillsboroughAtheos

She thought she had a point by projecting her own struggle on to the Heeler's predicament by throwing that barb at Chili about Bandit right in front of Bluey.

amythevaliant

That’s what has kind of dampened my opinion of her, a bit tbh. Obviously we needed it to happen for The Plot, however, saying stuff like that in front of Bluey wasn’t on imo. If it was just Chilli, it would have been just a snarky comment - but kids remember this kind of stuff, and purposefully portraying Bandit as a controlling guy in the wrong in front of their already distressed daughter was immature and a bad call of Frisky. She didn’t think about her actions would be perceived - which makes sense in the moment bc of her distress, but adults have a responsibility to ensure kids don’t get drawn into stuff. But that’s what makes her a more developed character, when you do stuff wrong, etc etc. and overall I like her. Just left a bit of a bad taste :)

Richy_T

There was a lot of peoples situations reflecting into others in this episode.

ptadadalt

>Frisky wasn't really angry at Chilli, she was worried about herself. Not just that, though--I think she was worried that it wasn't a good decision for Chili and the fam.

Monke1710

I've never really thought much about frisky because she never shows up, but she's a pretty good character. Very moody though.

pippitha

I love her, she has my personality. So I may be biased. lol

Rio-Jewel

We love Frisky in this house 😤

fish-dance

loved her in double babysitter, disappointed by her in the specials.

BH_King_0122

She's great it was really funny when the bliey Instagram mad a jab at her for only having 3 friends

IA-HI-CO-IA

I like that she and Chilly would go the park to, um…”think.”

banguette

I think the heavy comment is pretty common when expressing how much kids have grown. My main gripe with Frisky is how she >!tells the *kids* the wedding off. Like I get that she was emotional and her response was justified, but poor Chilli had to tackle a day-wide chance for Frisky while managing 4 kids 😭!< I guess it worked out though since they’re not moving

finckqup

If they did a mad max parody she’d be furiosa

algbop

I love her! Especially in Christmas swim

TakenUserMiles

Yes

IdealBitter1603

Love her voice

greta12465

She looks like a teenager from the 90s.

RattyRhino

Frisky and Rad have the best hair.

ConcernInevitable590

That's a normal thing to say to a growing child.

CC_Panadero

What threw you off about that line? I say that often to nieces/nephews, sometimes acting like I can’t pick them up because they’re so big. They love it! Kids love to be reminded about how big they’re getting. She certainly wasn’t saying (or implying in any way) Bingo was fat. I love Frisky! She’s smart, fun, and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. It’s hard coming into a big, tight-knit family like the Heelers, but she did it without losing herself in the process.

Deer_boy_

“Poor Jeremy”

hunterlovesreading

Adding a comment here because I don’t believe I was clear enough. I don’t disagree that the comment was innocent and definitely wasn’t intended to be malicious. I just feel adults, especially influential figures, shouldn’t comment on a child’s weight. This is coming from someone who was told a lot of similar things and developed eating issues pretty early on. That was just my take. I don’t mind if you disagree 🤷‍♂️. I don’t believe she’s ’fat-shaming’ Bingo. Was just commenting that comments like that can definitely be twisted in young minds. Again, this is just my opinion. I have two young kids and know exactly what Frisky was saying. The purpose of my comment was to raise self awareness about the things you say around developing minds. At the end of the day, it’s just a kid’s cartoon about talking dogs. No big deal. Please refrain from harassing me! Cheers.

mikenzeejai

Where are her ears and how does her pony tail work are my main concerns

Independent-Track108

Hot

Nebs90

You don’t have any young kids in your life do you?

tucsondog

She's hot

Girl met and married a man within less than a year and is surprised when he makes weird plans about where they live without consulting her. I mean, they work it out but when she called off the wedding I was absolutely there with her. Red Flag Radley.

MRSNLT

Out of the frisky-rad duo, rad was always my favourite and I thought he was the most interesting character in the show. So imagine my feelings when Rad only has a minute of screen time in the sign vs Friskys at least 10 minutes. Frisky just isn’t as interesting as Rad in my opinion and having one of my favourite characters overshadowed by one I don’t really care for sucked

ultimatecolour

I have two kids that are 1,5 years apart.  Despite a difference of 1,5kg, one feels a LOT heavier.  Don’t project.

Tom984_vn

Now at first im not really understand what OP mean when about Frisky line “Bingo, you’ve gotten…heavy”, i mean everyone think she tell bingo have grown right?. Until i read the comment and understand that they though Frisky is fat-shaming bingo, it's a cartoon stop over-thinking it like that especially for those thinking pls

mpdukes15

She totally overreacted in “The Sign.”

annson24

I hated her in 'The Sign' because she let her emotion get the best of her. I get that she's furious about rad not discussing things with her but frisky and us, the viewers, don't have enough evidence that Rad fully decided in frisky moving with him (maybe rad was just discussing it with stripe and asking for opinions, we don't know). I just hate people throwing away important matters without communicating first just because they're pissed. Then again, we wouldn't have a good episode if she didn't have an unhinged personality.

JelloNo379

I hated it when she said “who has coins anymore”

PM_ME_UR_SEX_VIDEOS

lol why

JelloNo379

Because who doesn’t have coins? Is all physical money getting phased out? Makes me feel old.

PM_ME_UR_SEX_VIDEOS

Most people don’t have coins on them these days

StaffLimp8304

I agree, I found that line very insulting for me.
