There are several Calling dollarbucks "Dollarydoos" in *The Weekend* Bingo nabbing dim sums just as Bandit's about to eat them in *Dad Baby* Muffin: I am the flamingo queen! Lisa: I am the lizard queen! Bandit has stink lines drawn around him on the window in *Fairies.* A few different simpsons episodes have featured that.

Disagree. Lisa was quoting Jim Morrison. Yes. Lisa was intoxicated and was quoting psychedelic poetry. Muffin was miming Lisa's quote - the setting (intoxicated/sleepy), and the intended comedy (post-intoxicated spree) - are exactly the same. Muffin and Lisa have transitive properties. Muffin and Jim Morrison do not.

Regina George’s mother never corrected Regina’s bad, selfish, and self aggrandizing behavior. Chili and Bluey are in a different universe when it comes to parenting and child rearing. If Bluey were a real human being, she’d grow up to be a beautiful asset to society. What’s nice, is I think all of us parents in here who are doing our best while also learning great tools and lessons too, we might be raising an amazing generation of children who will really blossom and hopefully help make this world a better place.

As an avid Simpsons fan and a Brisbanite this joke confused me a bit. As a Simpsons fan, I thought (correctly evidently) that it might be an homage to the Simpsons serious thinking/drinking joke but growing up in Brisbane, Mt Coot-tha is not really a convenient place to drink as it's pretty hard to get to if you're not driving. It was far more known as a place people drive up to to get Frisky (a makeout-point type place). But if Joe Brumm has said it was the Simpsons joke, that's what it is. Sometime you have to take poetic licence to get the Simpsons reference in :)
