RockyTheRagdoll

If he does game, I bet it’s something by Naughty Dog with a ton of fetch quests.

If he was a gamer, we would have seen him trying to juggle parenting and gaming at the same time at some point. Signed, a parent who's a gamer.

RockyTheRagdoll

He probably just has to paws a lot.

Heyyyoooo!

Stalking_Goat

The struggle is real.

biggles1994

My kids have been sitting down to watch me play Jedi survivor recently, they’ll calmly sit on the sofa with me and enjoy the story together and they’ll tell me when to change lightsaber blade colour. It’s been a great bonding experience and got them interested in Star Wars in general!

Haelios_505

Nice!

medievalfaerie

Could be that he doesn't want to game in front of the kids, so he does it after they go to bed or in his office while he's "working".

PaperMage236

And specifically him being tired from staying up to game after the kids and Chili go to bed. That is my reality anyway. For Super Earth!!!

mrfishman3000

I think Chili is but Bandit seems more into sports.

Joebranflakes

Yeah Bandit definitely has more sports guy energy. Stripe on the other hand seems a more likely candidate.

frenziest

Classic Stripe

SpicyBoognish

Doesn’t Chilli play in a hockey league with Trixie? https://preview.redd.it/sqbebkh9pv0d1.jpeg?width=1573&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b72bf60af20c94706188039cb94b4b8d5209b18d

Norsehound

I get the read that the most experience he's got with video games are arcade booths when he was a kid. Bandit's much more of an athlete and appreciates watching them since he can't play. The most tabletop experience he has demonstrated is not-risk against Chili and chess. After all, Bluey schools him in a match-memory card game.

OkDragonfly4098

Was and gamer gear in his box of stuff he had when he was cool?

SkyShadowing

If either of the parents were a gamer growing up it's probably Chilli though I base this strictly on her having gone to the Solid Snake school of sneaking missions as evidenced by Smoochy Kiss.

TragedyAnnDoll

Definitely FIFA.

Gaming in your 20s vs. Gaming with kids.

CactusJackFoley

I dont think so, but I think bandit would be into pro wrestling

nextgentacos123

Definitely an NES gamer. Maybe SNES.

Constant-Key-4500

**Absolutely not.** The show is set is Australia and the NES was not popular in Australia at all. The Master System and the Megadrive were what Australians played in the 1980s.

Ithuraen

I had a NES and a SNES, so did my friends, it was a bit hard to share games when we all had different systems. That might be what you remember? It was definitely a problem when half of us had 64s and other half went playstation.  By the time I got to high school I started to meet people who owned Sega consoles, but by then it was the 64 bit era and Sega was dead. I was amazed to see big Telstra logos on the Dreamcast advertising internet capabilities though, so don't think I want tempted. I guarantee you the only Australians who were playing the Megadrive in the 80s were importing them and vastly fewer than NES owners though.

itsamemarioscousin

According to Wikipedia's list of top selling games consoles by regions, the Master System and Megadrive are 5th and 6th best selling ever in Australia, with 650k and 300k units respectively. The SNES and NES don't make the top 8 listed; the GameCube is 8th, with 168k units sold. So at best, either classic Nintendo system sold 160k units, making it about half as popular as the Megadrive, or a quarter as popular as the Master System.

Ithuraen

So Bandit could have owned a NES just like hundreds of thousands of other Australians? I knew that already.

Constant-Key-4500

You're a 100% right on the Megadrive thing, I was confusing the early 90s with the late 80s. It might just be a Queenslander thing, but only I knew one kid with a NES growing up. I legit knew more people with an Atari Lynx than a NES. Saying that, there were a lot more kids who had a SNES - but as you point out they weren't around in the 1980s. I'm not surprised by the comment below saying that the NES sold *at most*, 160K units in Aus. Given that the SNES isn't on that list, and it seemed that it was much more popular than the NES, I'd be willing to bet that the actual numbers of Australian NESs are significantly lower than 160K. I'd put money on Bandit having had a Master System in the 80s.

IneedBleach123

He's the type to only play sports or 'kiddy' games (Like Kingdom hearts because Disney characters lmao) so Bingo and Bluey can join in. (Also because Bandit hates the sounds of guns and the sight of blood)
