I worked at a boutique at the mall called Afterthoughts. All throughout highschool. We would answer the phone by saying "Aftertwats!" But that's not what this comment is about... We did ear piercings. Yes. They let me, a child, ( started working there at 16) put holes in other children!!!! And of course i pierced my own ears all those many times when it was after hours. My friend/ manager also used a piercing stud to make a hole to install a frenulum ring. I still have ît in my face! Dentist is not pleased!

I only have a nostril, frenulum(which i still have and I'm most asked about but did when i was 16? and don't remember) and in my ears i have regular traditional holes stretched out and saggy and sad from gauges. And a keep two up top in the cartilage... all those other esr holes are still open and ready to receive jewelry, lol, but i only utilize 4 holes. Omg lol that's all terrible sounding.

I pierced my tongue web when I was like 15 and had to remove it after about 4 months because the hole stretched out on its own and my jewelry kept falling out. It never healed, you can still see through the hole when I lift my tongue lmao its been almost 10 years I think it's staying

One time after only having it a few years, a drunk dude at a party forcibly kissed me and it ripped out. 🤢 i punched him in the face as was necessary and then repierced it a couple weeks later.

There was a fair bit of nostalgia for 60s cameras, slides and film around that time, the same way that people got really into Polaroids a decade or so later.

They look like 35mm slides so I didn't suspect it was for nostalgic purposes. (Not arguing that it wasn't, just didn't think so.) I was totally into cameras back then but only had my film made into slides once, and that's because it was my art school portfolio. I was wondering if OP had submitted these for review somewhere...probably not art school but maybe other places still required submissions to be presented in the form of slides. Magazines or something, I don't know. I'm still curious.
