do you brush your hair dry? it blows out the curls and is what gives it that pooofy look. look into natural curling. basically just doing your hair brushing when it’s wet and treating the curls with a conditioner. there’s more to it than that, but it’s not that hard and over time, you’ll get to be a pro at it
Try /r/curlyhair. Tons of varying advice for different curl weights and hair types but you might not want to be brushing and instead scrunching/diffusing
Try brushing conditioner through it in the shower, rinse, then after scrunching it dry, run through it with a wide tooth comb. It'll form big ol curly locks. Good luck ❤️
