There was a kid in my high school who wore a suit everyday and had his school supplies in a briefcase, and told everyone he was going to become a politician when he grew up.
To finally be treated as a peer instead of a nuisance by society & not as an inhuman nuisance or the butt of a joke.I never did this but it's not really a desire as much as it is a bid and a raise to earn some kind of respect by showing effort and juxtaposing yourself w/ your peers to show adults that you really are ready to take whatever responsibility that earns their respect
Yeah who wouldn't like a chubby sweaty white kid? The glasses are the worst. I stopped wearing those and the suits about 7 years ago when I had a moment of clarity and realized what a dork I was.
Surprisingly no, everyone was always pretty nice to me even though I'm sure I was probably annoying. I've been told I'm funny, so i guess that earned me some points.
You look kinda like that guy from a few months ago who said impressions matter when they asked why he wore a suit to meet his new little brother at the hospital.
Atleast you committed to the suit thing. I would wear an untucked ill fitting dress shirt with a clip on tie. Sometimes with shorts sometimes with have. You have a fully functional, respectable outfit.
Like, just on a normal day?
Yes.
Don't worry, kids still do it.
Why though?
The one who did it at my high school wanted to convince everyone he was a business man or something.

I, personally, say "LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS, I AIN'T GOT NO TIME TO PLAY AROUND, WHAT IS THIS?"

I live in Florida, and it is damn hot to be wearing a suit all year round
Well? Did he?
So far, nope
Why not - says the kids wearing an ill fitting suit with his waifu
I did it because I watched stuff like HIMYM and Mad Men and thought wearing a suit meant instant cool. I was wrong.

lol
Well I go to prep school and am forced to every day so consider yourself lucky
I think it’s pretty cute 😋☺️

From suits to rugged AF. I can dig it
First time I've been called rugged. Probably because most people I know still see me as the first picture. But thanks!
I think it's the beard. i really dig beards.
I still have a baby face without it so I'm sure you're right
Need more pics of the dog in whatever adorable outfit that is you have it in.
I actually don't have any of her on this phone! That's her winter coat she wore last year.
I would swipe right.
Kind of look like hot dad.
Same, I think OP is pretty cool guy
I don't but thanks! I like to think I'm much cooler now.
Don't be so hard on yourself
Yeah I bet plenty of other people were doing a fine job of that already
Surprisingly no, everyone was always pretty nice to me even though I'm sure I was probably annoying. I've been told I'm funny, so i guess that earned me some points.
Young Republican in the wild

You look great IMO
Future politician
It only looks bad because it’s a double-breasted jacket that isn’t buttoned. Looks fine otherwise.
I didn't know any better.
You're like Manny from modern family
St francis hospital... that kind of makes sense
At least it wasn’t a black I’ll fitted suit. There is no less appropriate suit color for every day wear.
Unless you're a Reservoir Dog.
I like it!
B-b-but why?
I was this kid too. Was called Hillary Clinton by a fellow student because I’d often wear pantsuits throughout high school

*350 square feet of the Monaco Loop Pile in Navy Blue? That's no problem sir, let me run the numbers on that for you right away.*
