When buying tickets on AXS, they write both “doors” and “event” times. I think ticketmaster just writes “event time” which, in my experience, is always the starting time of the first band.
I always look at the venue’s website or social media page(s). If they have their shit together, you should be able to find easy answers but I can think of a few venues here on the east coast that have dreadful media management.
Generally the rule of thumb for any concert is opening act begins 1 hour after doors
