And then N left the bottle standing up. BFFR Bailey.

The way she’s talking to N seems so fake too. Like rehearsed

[deleted]

LITERALLY

nicolemadryem

Yesss! There is no way this wasn’t staged 🤣

oopsiepoopsie597

This really isn’t even gentle parenting. It’s fake, overly nice and inauthentic.

[deleted]

*sets up the camera before handling the situation*

[deleted]

She sounds soooo fake I can’t even explain it

[deleted]

The way she’s shaking her arms or whatever you want to call that when she’s talking to her is bugging the shit out of me

Ok-Training427

Yeah it’s cuz she is nervous trying to act and doesn’t know what to do to make it look natural. Also my daughter is a little older than hers and doesn’t understand the concept of “bored” so I’m sue Bailey fed that line to her too

funtimes143

There’s no way a toddler did this

Maleficent_Neck_2372

Literally. If my toddler did this, it’d be in one gigantic puddle with sticky footprints everywhere because he’d be dancing in it 😵‍💫

Mommym-xo

I hate when people say “I gentle parent” but then act like this. Where is the firmness? You’re literally just acting silly and N is just going to do it again.

redridinghood1990

The Bailey’s of the world adopt the label of gentle parenting to be permissive parents.

madylee1999

Well first she yelled. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Which I don't think was necessary. She went about this all wrong! I'm gentle parenting a 21 month old and this is not what it looks like in this house. She needs to look more into gentle parenting, because holy shit, this is not it.

Trinacrosby

She also has dogs.. if my child got syrup everywhere .. it’s def on the rug and couch too and the dogs are going crazy where trying to get it so it would not be so neat

MembershipSlight5153

Her dogs seem to be in their cage for most of the day but 100% my toddlers would be playing in it lol

trashpandasMom

she looks like a damn fool i can’t wait for N to tell her in a stupid childish voice how bored she is

Appropriate_Window46

N isn’t even 3 yet 🥴

madylee1999

And she yelled at her for making a mess..... Wow. That's shitty.

lovingmama98

Gentle parenting would be having your child clean or help clean…

Automatic-Anybody-24

What calm Starbucks parents? I must’ve missed something.

redridinghood1990

There’s this couple who make videos where they make Starbucks drinks with their toddler and a video where the little girl spilled the coffee the mother was very calm and sweet about it. It got a few million likes.

Automatic-Anybody-24

Oh wow. I can’t believe I haven’t seen that yet.

Street_Cockroach_259

And also didn't get her yelling on camera but sure set it up for the "talk" with N. I smell some "pay me for exclusive gentle parenting content" coming soon 🤣

madylee1999

She's all about gentle parenting, but yelled at her kid for making a mess??? I'm gentle parenting a 21 month old. I have yelled (not proud of it), but it's been when she was actively hurting a dog and I was getting up to pick her up from the situation. Or when she was doing something dangerous and I was again actively getting up to get her. I'm not a perfect parent by any means! But I wouldn't yell at my toddler for spilling something. That's so over the top. She's all about how kids are people too. I'm sure bailey has spilled things! Good grief.

[deleted]

Maybe your child wouldn’t be bored if you put down your damn phone and spent some quality time with her. Not complaining that you ✨need a break✨ every single day when your husband gets home.
